Diplomacy High commanders office

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
Just off the main expanse of the Central Command Hub, a side corridor leads to the High Commander's Office. The entrance is marked by a solid, reinforced door bearing the emblem of the Lilaste Order, signifying the critical role of the office within the station's command structure., ensuring that only authorized personnel can enter. Inside, the office is spacious yet simply furnished. The room is illuminated by soft, ambient lighting, which creates a calm and focused atmosphere, contrasting with the intense energy of the CIC outside.

The centerpiece of the office is a large, sturdy desk made of dark wood, its surface covered in paperwork. Stacks of documents, reports, and tactical briefings are arranged in either semi-neat piles or somewhat haphazardly, depending on the urgency and recent activity levels. A sleek, high-tech terminal is embedded into the desk, allowing for quick access to digital records and secure communications. Behind the desk, a high-backed chair offers ergonomic support for long hours spent strategizing and making critical decisions. The chair faces a large window that provides a sweeping view of the space outside the station.

To one side of the desk, a set of shelves holds a mix of binders, reference materials, and a few personal items—a framed photograph, perhaps, or a small memento from a significant mission. These personal touches humanize the otherwise austere space, offering glimpses into the life of the individual who occupies this powerful position. Across from the desk, a seating area with two comfortable chairs and a low table provides a space for meetings and briefings with other senior officers or visiting dignitaries. The table often holds a carafe of water and a few glasses, ready for impromptu discussions.

The walls of the office are adorned with a few key pieces: a large, detailed star map, a framed insignia of the Lilaste Order, and perhaps a commendation or two, reflecting the High Commander's distinguished service record. These decorations are minimalist but meaningful, emphasizing the blend of duty and honor that defines the role. Overall, the High Commander's Office is a place where critical decisions are made and strategies are formulated. It combines functionality with just enough personal touches to create a space that is both command center and sanctuary, a place where the weight of leadership is keenly felt and the pulse of the station's operations can be closely monitored.

Darth Reign followed the dock worker in the High Commander’s office. His small tour of the station through this process had left the Dark Lord impressed. The Lilaste Order was an impressive fighting force.

As the dock worker left him, Reign poured himself a glass of water and sat in the waiting area. He hoped his host would not mind, as Reign was unsure how long he was to wait.

The office had just the right touch of personality to feel that a real person really did work and think here. It reminded Reign of his own offices on The Dominion.

Reign had made up his mind.
“I shall do my best to make this man, and these people an ally to The Diarchy. They will make a fine friend in a time of need” finishing his glass of water, the Dark Lord stood and paced along the office.

Laphisto Laphisto

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
It would take little under thirty or so minutes before the door to the office would slide open. With laphisto pushing his way into the room. Clearing his throat as to not surprise his guest " my apologies. I had gone to negotiate deals with a potential ally and found myself giving a tour of our facilities."

A small chuckle rolled from his throat as laphisto approached the man before him. Reaching a hand out to shake Thier own as a flash of teal ran across his eyes. And out of habit more than anything else he peered into Diarch Reign Diarch Reign through the force. Pulling at Thier alignment to the force.

" One of my commanders has spoken greatly about you, so what brings you all the way out here to the Kalinda system?"

Reign stopped pacing as the other man entered the room. Seeing a truly giant of a man. But that wasn’t what had caught Reign by surprise. It was the man’s feeling in the force. Balance, if a Reign had to put a word to it.

Reign smiled at his counterpart saying
“No apologies necessary my friend, a leaders work is never truly done. I hope you don’t mind I helped myself to a small glass of water”

The Dark Lord extended his hand to shake Laphisto’s, attempting to gauge the man behind the kind words. He had been told many things about the commander of the Lilaste Order, but Reign would judge their validity himself.

“I believe I owe you my gratitude, and I’m not one to just send a thank you basket. I have come to personally thank you for your assistance in the Mustafar system, and perhaps discuss a more lasting friendship” Reign had made up his mind long ago, that he would not view others as the majority of Sith would, they are not people to be trampled over, but a relationship to be fostered, more power to he added to his own. Whether through direct control or advantageous alliance.

“I do sincerely hope that when our business is concluded here, I may also receive the pleasure of a tour, it’s quite the facility you have here” Reign said with a small chuckle.

Laphisto Laphisto

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
Laphisto chuckled lightly at the man's statement and gave a small nod his way, gesturing back to the table where both partys would seem as equals instead of his more comfortable desk chair.

Taking one of the seats he grabbed himself a glass of water pouring one for himself then refilling the glass Infront of the man before him " I don't mind at all, that is what it's there for."

Upon hearing about the mustafar system he raised a brow for a moment before recalling back and giving a soft nod" no need to thank me. I merely made sure people were in the right spot at the right time. And I would be honored to showcase our fine facility along side what the order is capable of providing to Thier friends"

Taking a small drink from his glass he let the teal glow fade from his eyes letting them return to Thier natural blue and green form. "So tell me what brings your people this far into the outer rim? Last I recall the sith order is currently fighting the galactic alliance near sullust"

Laphisto was only marginally worried about the sith orders war machine. With his current alliances with the tingle arm coalition and the League of autonomous worlds he had confidence that if the sith army's were to invade the system his people would have ample support in fighting back against them. At least he hoped.

Reign studied the man briefly before he responded. A delicate, but honest hand would be needed in these preliminary discussions. The Dark Lord had a feeling that Laphisto would know should he lie.

You would be correct in your statements about the Sith Order, however, I am not a representative of theirs. I lead a small, but growing, movement. Known as The Diarchy, alongside my brother. Our vision is to bring about order to a galaxy in chaos. However, our philosophy differs greatly from your average Sith. Our core tenant is the strength of your bonds, and the strength of power shared. Our symbol showcases this, it is a ten pointed star, while each point is powerful and beautiful in its own right, it is their part of the whole that gives true strength and meaning.” Darth Reign took another sip of his water, he would not flower his words any more than necessary, and he hoped the man seated opposite him would feel the truth.

“I do not seek to rule or control by fear alone, I feel that it is a guiding hand that the galaxy needs. And unlike the Sith who is will destroy that which opposes them, I believe in the open hand first, cooperation and benevolent guidance”
Reign waited for his counterpart’s response, one leg crossed over another, his black robes spread out underneath him.

Laphisto watched the man carefully his eyes darting over Thier face as they spoke. His brow furrowed as he looked at him, either in a glair or a squint was hard to tell right off the bat. Though a light nod and a small sip of his water he took in every word rolling them over his mind as he began to think on them for a moment almost as if debating how to move forwards. Before he gave a smile and spoke.

" Your words speak true to your cause and to the cause of the Lilaste order. We to seek to bring order to the chaos at large. To show the galaxy the meaning of true balance. Many see the force as one side or the other. Light and dark, good and evil."

Laphisto paused for a moment as he leaned forwards to a more comfortable position. His unique biology wasn't exactly suited for this chair unlike the one at his desk. Showing he chose to sit with the manas and equal sacrificing his own comfort to make the man feel more welcomed. "But what they fail to realize is the force is just the force. It is neither inherently good nor evil. It is us who put those labels up on it to stave back the fear of the unknown. "

He seemed to smile softly some what relieved at the shared value and ideology of the two " the Jedi seek to destroy the sith as they see them as an abomination to the force. The sith seek to destroy the Jedi for power and other means. But what both sides fail to realize is that one cannot exist without the other."

Pausing momentarily laphisto seemed to debate an idea in his head for a moment before continuing tapping the sigil of the Lilaste order on his right shoulder plate. " The symbol of the order stands for balance. Infact the word Lilaste means balance in my native tongue. That's what we seek to bring to the wider galaxy. And considering we share the same ideology's I would be inclined to offer you and your people a place within our ranks. Full membership and all the benefits it entails. Including but not limited to, access to all Lilaste tech our weapons armor and Materials. And you would remain in charge of your people and granted a commanding rank within the order. "

Grabbing at his vambrace laphisto tapped away a few times before ejecting a data chip and sliding it over towards him " but if you wish only for an alliance then we will still offer you limited access to our older tech, armor ships and weapons that have been phased out. For the cost of trade between our people" laphisto was sincere in his words. If not a little excited to finally find another organization that was nearly identical to the Lilaste order. If not leaning more to the dark side. In his mind it was perfect, while the majority of the order leaned towards the light this group would be the counter balance bringing them full circle and balancing our the order.

Diarch Reign Diarch Reign

Reign thought for a moment. Mulling over Laphisto’s words. While full integration into the Order would be a boon. It did feel like a potential loss of independence, and hence being beholden to another’s goal. Which would go against the Grand Plan that Reign’s father had entrusted him with.

Weighing each word carefully, the Dark Lord responded
“Full admittance and membership to your order was a greater offer than I had expected. However, I must admit, I do not think that is a plunge we are ready for. I would like to propose a counter, if you will allow. While we will not officially join the order, our goals and values align in such a way, that I would propose an officially drafted alliance letting it be known to the galaxy at large that we stand together. Your enemies would become mine, and my enemies yours, in both defense and offense, should the time come, we will be as brothers. Guiding the galaxy towards a stable, and secure future. Free trade between our peoples, sharing of whatever scientific breakthroughs we each may have, and most importantly the bond of friendship. Simply call me, and we will be there”

Reign had come with hopes of what would essentially be an alliance formed against the major players, but he was loathe to relinquish the control he had upon the course of the Diarchy.

Laphisto Laphisto

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
Laphisto heard the man out with a small nod Thier way and a light chuckle pushing past his lips, the offer was similar to being full membership but offered autonomy for Diarch Reign Diarch Reign and his people which was a fair compromise in the grand scheme of things.

" A fair offer and one that I would be more than willing to accept, with an additional add on from my end. Should you and your people feel ready for full membership then all the benefits you mention above. A secondary division under the order should the time come"

Laphisto moved to extend his hand to shake on the desk in place, allys were hard to come by now days. Specially with ones that shared such similar goals and ideas

Reign smiled at the big man. He couldn’t ask for much more. The Diarchy would remain The Diarchy, but with a powerful” new friend. Following with the whole Ethos of their movement. Strength shared.

“That is more than fair my friend, and likewise, our doors are always open to you and yours. Together we can change the course of this galaxy and bring order to this chaos.” He shook the outstretched hand, ushering in a new era for their people.

Laughing slightly he asked
“So who gets the daunting task of drafting the formal documentation up? A missive to put the rest of the galaxy on notice is in order too I’m sure”

Laphisto Laphisto

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
" to new friends" laphisto rose his glass pulling himself upwards and Into a standing position as if to toast to Thier new partnership. Before then taking a drink. Of his glass, and raising a brow at Thier words with a small chuckle.

"Ill see about having one of my officers draft up a formal document between our peoples. As for a galactic notice? I'm sure in due time the word will spread when it's due time. Should the order find ourselves on a mercenary contract with one of the bigger leagues in the galaxy we will extend that contract your way to participate in the fight along side us"

Reign returned the toast. “To Brotherhood” the Dark Lord said. Taking a drink out of his glass.

“On that note my friend, I would still enjoy a tour of your station. And please, should you have the desire, come tour my ship at your leisure. We are in the process of setting a more permanent base of operations. But, for now, The Dominion is home.” This alliance was a massive move for The Diarchy, giving them another ally on the galactic stage, and almost enough power to be a player themselves.

" should you need a weapon or armor refit, the dry docks of Aurora station are at your service my friend" giving a small bow towards the man he nodded lightly before making his way for the exit of the office " allow me to show you our fine facility "

Setting his glass of water down on the nearest surface he moved out into the Stations CIC and beyond. Eventually walking the man personal nally back to his shuttle before being called back to his office by other matters

Tella waited patiently as the two guards lead her into the corridor outside the High Commander's Office, occasionally glancing around at the surroundings. It was clean, simple, and orderly, like one would expect of a military organization more than your typical Galactic mercenaries, it signaled something deeper about the Order and its ambitions in combination with her observations on Dock Four. Expensive ones, if memory served correctly, which is perhaps why Laphisto was being so…flexible…in his choice of allegiances at the moment. Which was fine, for now, but eventually he would have to choose a side. Hopefully she and her mother could help nudge them towards the correct one.

It wasn't long till the High commander made his appearance, the door to the Office sliding open as laphisto stood in the door way. The kiev'arian looking down at Tella Voland Tella Voland as a flash of teal covered his eyes causing him to raise a brow with a soft chuckle rolling from his throat. He had a feeling he recognized the force signature before him albeit the face of the girl and the name she was using didn't match. Then again he was half blind so perhaps he was just having troubles seeing her for who she was.

Gesturing outwards laphisto gave a small bow her way as he motioned for her to enter and take a seat " it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance once again, so tell me what brings you all the way out this way 'master Jedi' "

His words were not hostile or aggressive but they portrayed a tone of sarcasm when he spoke the last two words.almost as of hinting at the fact that he knew she wasn't who she said she was. But he was waiting for her to reveal herself

A lone luxury starliner glided into Aurora Station, its sleek white hull gleaming against the dull, gray metallic plating of the ancient space station. From its hatch emerged Brakkus Ka'bo, head of the Ando Mining Collective. A meeting had been arranged between him and the High Commander of the Lilaste Order. Though the specifics remained unclear, Brakkus was confident the discussion would revolve around a mining contract—after all, such negotiations were his stock-in-trade.

Accompanied by a Lilaste Order security officer, Brakkus navigated the labyrinthine corridors of the massive station. His chrome-plated protocol droid, an essential companion for business dealings, followed closely behind, its servos whirring softly as it struggled to keep up with the Aqualish's brisk pace.

Eventually, they arrived at the High Commander's office. The doors slid open, revealing a spacious, well-appointed room. At its center stood a stately wooden desk, a rare sight in the galaxy's modern, industrial aesthetic. The walls were adorned with artwork and memorabilia that hinted at their owner's character and history. Clearly, this was more than just a workspace; it was a reflection of its occupant's values and experiences.

As Brakkus stepped inside, his gaze lingered briefly on the decor before settling into a contemplative state. The potential opportunities presented by the Lilaste Order stirred his thoughts. As a militarized faction, they undoubtedly required a steady supply of metals and alloys to sustain their operations. A contract with them could position the Ando Mining Collective as a key supplier for their war machine, opening the door to significant profits.

But credits weren't the only currency of interest. Protection from a force as seasoned and capable as the Lilaste Order would be invaluable in the volatile and lawless expanse of Wild Space. The thought of such an alliance was enticing, but Brakkus tempered his excitement. He was well aware of the dangers of making assumptions, especially when the purpose of the meeting had yet to be revealed.

For now, he would wait—and listen.

It was only a few moments after Brakkus Brakkus enter the office that laphisto arrived the tall 7 ft 8 kiev'arian stepped in his right hand fiddling with the arm brace of his left his armor was the same olive green and style as those of the soldiers of the Lilaste order. Some would see it as tacky or as a way to be seen as a fellow soldier amongst the lower ranks had his armor not for the signs of combat small scratches and indents littered some places of his armor some recent some older signaling that the armor was not just for show or a symbolic gesture to the lower enlisted.

Maglock to his right belt was what looked to be a broken vibroblade. The 15-in handle was incompassed by almost pristinely polished handguard which curved upwards into what one would assume where the rest of the blade should be.

Lancing around the room the festa soon met eyes on the man he had issued the meeting for his gay is narrowed into what looked to be a glare or perhaps he was squinting it was hard to tell as he looked at the man his eyes flashed a teal blue in color has he began to use his foresight to peer into the alignment the man for him trying to poke and pry if they were light side dark or neutral.

" Good evening friend I do hope I haven't kept you waiting to long? I was wrapping up a debrief "

The doors opened, and Brakkus turned to greet his host. The High Commander's towering figure filled the room, his presence both commanding and intimidating. Dressed in full battleplate that bore the marks of recent combat, he exuded the aura of a seasoned warrior. The explanation for his tardiness—a return from the battlefield—only solidified this impression. Yet Brakkus remained unshaken. This was a meeting for business, not a clash of arms.

Their attire could not have been more different. The Aqualish wore an expensive, tailor-made suit that spoke of corporate sophistication, while the High Commander's armor told tales of war and resilience. Brakkus suspected the difference would matter little to his host, who seemed the type to prioritize substance over superficial details.

Speaking in his native tongue, Brakkus began, his protocol droid translating into Galactic Basic with a metallic precision that dulled the sincerity of his words.

"No, no, no. It is quite alright," the droid said, its vocoder failing to convey the Aqualish's warmth.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, High Commander. The reputation of the Lilaste Order—and your own—precedes you. I am ready to commence business whenever you are."

Brakkus extended his large, furred hand in greeting, his chelicerae shifting slightly in what passed for a smile among his kind. He waited, his four eyes studying the armored figure before him, eager to see how the High Commander would respond.

Laphisto seemed momentarily taken aback by the droid's sudden presence, as if it had appeared out of nowhere. Instinctively, his hand moved toward the lightsaber hilt at his side, his body shifting into a defensive stance. However, he quickly caught himself, redirecting the motion to adjust his utility belt instead. As the man began to speak, Laphisto's Comprehend speech ability activated on its own, allowing him to understand the words without issue. When the droid repeated the statement, it caught him by surprise, momentarily throwing him off balance.

Clearing his throat, he composed himself, the teal glow in his eyes dimming as he refocused. His expression seemed like a glare, though it was more likely a squint—a symptom of his lingering carbonite poisoning, which had contributed to his impaired vision. Rubbing the bridge of his nose briefly, he offered a polite apology.

"My apologies—I hadn't realized you had a droid with you," he said, his tone measured but tinged with mild embarrassment.

With a slight wince, he straightened up and gestured toward the nearby table, where a pitcher of water and a few glasses were arranged. His gaze softened as he continued, "The pleasure of this meeting is mine. I'm eager to hear what your company can offer the Lilaste Order—and what the Order, in turn, can do for our newfound friends. Come, let us sit."

He motioned for the man to join him, his demeanor now calm and inviting despite the initial moment of tension.

Brakkus Brakkus

The High Commander's reaction to the protocol droid did not go unnoticed, yet Brakkus paid it no mind. As the Aqualish spoke, it became clear that his host was focusing on him directly rather than the mechanical translations offered by the droid. This was not a new experience for Brakkus—years of business dealings had taught him to recognize when someone truly engaged with his words rather than the intermediary.

Noting this, Brakkus inclined his head slightly in acknowledgment and approached the table where the High Commander had gestured for him to sit. "I see that you understand my native tongue," he said in Aqualish, his chelicerae twitching faintly as if in amusement. "If you prefer, I can send the droid back to my ship." Even as he spoke, the protocol droid dutifully translated his words into Galactic Basic Standard, its metallic voice droning on.

Allowing the High Commander a moment to decide, Brakkus continued after receiving his host's preference. "As I'm sure you are aware, we are a mining enterprise. Our capabilities enable us to supply the Lilaste Order with the raw materials necessary to sustain and grow your war machine." The words were straightforward, almost unnecessary to state, but Brakkus knew the importance of establishing a solid foundation in any negotiation.

"Our primary refinery on Ando Prime is equipped to handle nearly any high-yield contract, ensuring efficient processing of materials. Additionally," he added with confidence, "our tibanna gas refinery is state-of-the-art, capable of fulfilling even the most demanding orders."

He paused briefly, as if to let the weight of his company's capabilities settle, before continuing without leaving much room for reply. "Beyond that, we offer comprehensive prospecting services. Should you wish to establish a mining operation within the Lilaste Order's territory, we can survey and identify the most viable sites for development."

Brakkus leaned back slightly, his posture poised but relaxed, and waited for the High Commander's response, confident that he had presented his case effectively.
