I've been perusing the forums for a while now but am unsure how to get involved? Seems to be a lot of bad guy factions. Is the High Republic the only good guy faction? I kind of want to play a Jedi but I don't know where to start.

Hey! Welcome to Chaos, and to answer your question THR is the only Lightside Major faction on the board atm, but that doesn't mean you can't take your character and ideas to any part of the board. And what Persephone said, there are plenty of Minor Factions that aren't represented on the map that would love to have a new writer seeking out new ambitions. A lot of the factions are more grey than pure light or dark, but if you have any questions, there are tons of people who are more than happy to help.

Yes, High Republic is currently the only major goodguy faction. But there is also a minor faction called the Underground that you can join for Jedi. Underground is just getting started - Briana Sal-Soren can fill you in a bit more there.

Yeah, like mentioned, THR is the only major good guy faction. They are a good bunch, if you want to be involved in a major! But, if that is a little daunting, there are minor light side factions for Jedi.

I am running the Underground, which is a Jedi resistance type of group and a sub faction of THR. We are just getting started, with some plans for PVP by the end of the week.

There are the Jedi Outcasts, being ran by Jasper Kai'el , and there is also another rebel faction that's ran by Jonyna Si .

I am sure there are more, but I can't think of them off the top of my head.
