Uhhh, I'm looking to create a smuggler character, anyone care to help? Like do I need to join a faction beforehand or something?

Nope, You don't need to however you can at any point, and Please don't feel limited by joining or not joining a faction. Also There are templates you can follow for a bit of help

Yeah, I checked that one out though there seems to be additional coded templates to make the sheets prettier though they usually look faction related but ig thats not really important. Also just to make sure, we can't use characters from the series as our avatars right? Can we use characters from other media pieces?There is the staring page of Character creation. Do follow it
