I'm another writer returning after a pretty long absence from creative writing. I had a series of minor characters around here between 2013-2017, but could never really get over being intimidated by the level of writing talent that surrounded me, so I never stuck it out.
I started off in the Star Wars MUSH and MUD world of the late 90s and early 2000s, before tapering off around 2007. My writing turned from fun fantasy and sci-fi RP adventuring, into stale academic and technical report writing, and I could never really get the spark back.
So here I am, wanting to give myself a slow immersion into writing the fun stuff again. This time, I want to really give it a more serious try and not let myself get frightened off, too!
