STRENGTHS
- Electroglobin Production - Creates a large amount of Electroglobins in a short time in 'pulses' that are few
- Paralyzing - Depends on the amount of Electroglobins lost. More electroglobins that were lost, the more paralyzing the effect can be. Can leave the user vulnerable and defenseless
DESCRIPTION
Polydroxols are alive due to electroglobins, and a body without electroglobins means death for the Polydroxol, no coming back. Hexxus' Heart is intended, as an alchemized crystal, to surge the body, producing more electroglobins if a significant amount has been lost. The heart won't pulse/pump unless a large enough amount has been lost (30-40% is where it starts). It isn't sentient, so it doesn't know any appropriate time to start pulsing, and it doesn't know how many the body needs. The amount it produces is a flat amount, usually at least 30-40% of what the body usually has. A Polydroxol could go a day without the heart pulsing if they didn't have to heal damage to their body or shape-shift enough. The crystal is powered by the Force, and therefore has to be held by a Force-user to work. It also causes weakness in the force for some time after it pulses. Effects on non-polydroxols is unknown, other than it can restart actual hearts like a defibrillation units, but it's questionable if it can actually help in a similar capacity. Like any liquid crystal, it can also turn into a gaseous form, shape-shifting along with Hexxus' shape-shifting capabilities.
