Strengths:
1-2 Punch: The HVs-2 + J-1 combo creates a much to be reckoned force

Low Defense: To increase the maneuverability of a ship whose weapon only points one direction, the engineers reduced the armor to increase maneuverability
It's the Death Star all Over Again: While there are shields all around the barrel of the HVs-2, when fired, all but the ray-shields go down, and if a single torpedo or missile gets through to the chamber, the whole ship will be crippled if not destroyed
Bad Aim: the accuracy of the J-1's are not great, that is why there are so much mounted, so hopefully one will hit
Description:
The Heavy Velocity Strike Frigate is outfitted with an HVs-2 hypervelocity cannon and is also outfitted with 16 J-1 proton cannons. This is supposed to act as a 1-2 punch, take out the shields with the HVs-2 and then eviscerate them with the J-1s. To maximize the usage of the HVs-2, the engineers incorporated a second reactor to increase the shots per minute, and if needed, could use the main engine to further increase SPM; or vice versa, the second reactor could be used to increase speed and maneuverability.

The ship has engines along the side to increase maneuverability, but they can be big targets, and so each one has a small shield generator to give it extra padding. The Bridge is centered at the back of the ship right above the second arm, the hyper-velocity cannon, this allows the bridge crew to get the best view of what they are firing at. The center viewing panel has the ability to show the HVs-2's charge as well as a reticle to act as a manual sight if need be.
