Help with technology creation

I am looking for help with the creation of some technology. I have not really created any technology before and it has me a little a lost.

To give a little context...
I have changed my character's image to Mercy from Overwatch. She is my favorite hero from the game and i thought she was fitting with Nara's image since she is a doctor.

I would really like to create a version of Mercy's Valkyrie suit for Nara. Of course i will need to find a way to make a version of it that is not a complete rip off!I have looked over the armor template. The things that i am most lost on are the Manufacturer and Materials part. It's not on the template, but i would need to find a way for the suits wings to make the armor hover.

I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could give me hand with this. :)

(if anyone who is not familiar with Overwatch and Mercy wants to help i will happily explain the suit to them :3 )

[member="Nara Basaar"] well I can help with dev and explaining some of the things with star wars. GOt to be careful though as you don't want to just make a direct copy of the suit which is against the rules.

Manufacturer is who made the armor (such as a company or person) and the materials are the fabrics, metals, plastics and so on that are used to create it.

As for hovering, repulsorlift packs are a thing.

Yeah.
I was just more lost on finding the right manufacturers and what materials are the right ones to use.

I have never heard of them before. Are these something that can just be used? or will a development thread be required?

[member="Nara Basaar"] well you would go about it by detailing the armor first and then looking for the star wars version of it. Believe me there is something is star wars from nearly every other sci fi series just about or some version of it.

[member="Danger Arceneau"] has stated that her company, Arceneau Trading Co., is free for use in technology submissions. Or you could list your character, as you might be the one making it.

As for materials, do you have a picture for reference?

Repulsorlift packs are jet packs that make use of repulsorlift technology (the stuff that star wars hovercraft, air speeders, and stuff make use of to defeat the forces of gravity). Depending on the rest of the armor, I doubt you'll need development.

Duraplast or Plasteel for the body armor, Desh-Terenthium (for the wings), Armorweave (Flexible leather-like portion of the body armor)

Looks like it's closer to 12-14 KG, not including the probably 5-6 KG pack on the back, and probably a quality around 6-8 at that point. I'd suggest 7, personally.

Thank you so much for the help!
Unfortunately i don't have time to write it up just now. Will do it in the morning.

Would you mind if i messaged you if i have any more questions?

Do you need a company to link for your Tech subs?

I’m easy so I’ll offer up the following companies for you to enjoy and use if you want a Tier 6 company to submit subs. I honestly don’t mind if anyone uses ATC to create their items, i’ve done this all the time and told people go crazy. Just make sure you add tags ( Arceneau Trade, ATC) . It makes it easier to search for products that way. You don’t even have to contact me. Just have fun and RP guys. :)

As an added incentive, ICLY ATC will pay royalties in the form of 10% annual sales to the Tech subber for cashflow.
