Request Help Me Brainstorm

I’m thinking of rebooting one of my characters but need to figure out how to get them in this timeline because they were born in 200BBY.

I know there are ways but I thought I’d toss this out here to see if I can get any new ideas. He’s a darksider if that makes a difference.

Force Shenanigans
- Accidental portal to the Netherworld or some other questionable realm that then pops them out in the current day.

- Hibernation Trance. Force Technique that can slow a bodies internal functions. Traditionally, this is only meant to last up to a year or so if one is applied to ultraveanous food and drink supplements. But in legends, we also had a character that used it around 300 BBY and awoke during the Yuuzhan Vong War.

- Jedi Stasis Chamber. Similar to cryo except the Force is used to freeze time around the individual sealed away.

Other options
- Hypserspace Travel. Hyperspace travel is weird, sometimes incidents happen, sometimes you end up slingshot into the future.

It depends on what you mean by reboot.

When I brought my characters to Chaos, I kept in mind that none of the relationships they had mattered on Chaos, since those characters weren't around. I just took the adventures that defined my character's main traits as the story beats for their Chaos background.

It gave me a very adaptable version with a 'fresh' feel, that I could easily drive with new storyline instead of being lost in nostalgia.

That'd be my advice!

4. They can disappear into the same pocket dimension whenever convenient
5. Repeat as needed.

I would love to get this character in the current timeline but they have family from before so it’s a mess.

I think I’m gonna go with the stasis chamber or something similar. Kinda also like the world between worlds or netherworld angle too.
