Any Force Sensitive who tries to wear the Helm of Authority will find themselves confused and disoriented, as if they were under the effects of Force Nullification. Non-Force Sensitives do not suffer any penalties or ill-effects from wearing the Helmet of Authority.

• Durable: Thanks to the use of alchemized materials in its construction, the Helm of Authority is far more durable and protective than eve, the most advanced Stormtrooper helmets, to the point of being nearly indestructible

DESCRIPTION

Captain Ronhar Tane is one Mahporeem Imperial Remnant's most decorated and skilled soldiers, having years of valuable combat experience and numerous successful missions under his belt. As someone who has in effect become the public face of the Imperial Remnant, it was decided that the Captain needed a new helmet to better protect himself on the myriad of dangerous missions that he often finds himself on. Working with the Junkyard Knights of Mahporeem, the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant created the "Helm of Authority" for Ronhar to use out in the field.

At a glance, the Helm of Authority appears to be an especially advanced Stormtrooper helmet, and this description is not entirely inaccurate. The helmet contains a host of features that augment its user's combat awareness and efficiency, including Multi-Frequency Targeting and Acquisition Sensors, Neuro-Saav Macromotion Monitors and Image-Intensifying Active Pulse Emitters. The Helm of Authority additionally contains both a Heads Up Display running a Mk. 7 HUD-INFO operating system and a Anq-Y Enhanced Optics Suite, granting its user vastly enhanced situational awareness and ability to detect targets and points of interest out on the battlefield.

Furthermore, the Helm of Authority comes equipped with a variety of helmet filters for use in hazardous environments, an advanced speaker system with an NZ VR-TM translator, an Integrated Comlink with a Comm Unit Scrambler, Polarized Visor Lens, Night Vision Functionality and the ability to equip a Rangefinder on either side of the helmet, giving its user an unparalleled amount of versatility, rarely seen in other comparably sized helmet systems.

Most importantly, however, is the fact that the helmet is actually constructed out of Alchemized materials, increasingly its durability and resilience to the point of being nearly indestructible, potentially on par or even exceeding that of substances such as Beskar. The Alchemized nature of the Helm of Authority also means that the helmet acts like a Force Mask, protecting its user from mind altering force powers such as Mind Probe or Mind Trick. This does mean that anyone wearing the helmet will be unable to receive the benefit of mind altering force powers from friendly force users, and any Force Sensitive being attempting to don the helmet will have great difficulty in doing so for any meaningful length of time.

When worn by Ronhar Tane , the Helm of Authority can lead to odd interactions with the rest of his equipment. For example, when using his "Kitetsu" Force Energy Cycler, Ronhar will still receive the physical benefits and enhancements granted by the latent force energy absorbed by the device but may no longer have a corresponding emotional or mental change due to the effects of the Helm of Authority. It has also been observed that the negative effects associated with wearing a Tashai Coat of Coins seemed to be greatly diminished or reduced when wearing the helmet, though not enough to entirely prevent the coat from attacking and influencing his mind.
