Comprised of conscripted criminals and prisoners, the Corps serves as the primary defense force of Sablethorne and the enforcer of its ruler's will. Despite their origins, members of the Corps are trained rigorously and equipped with advanced weaponry and armor, transforming them into disciplined soldiers ready to face any threat.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Hellstorm Corps was born out of necessity on Sablethorne Prime, a harsh prison world where criminals and dissidents were sent to serve out their sentences. As the ruler of Sablethorne, the planet's leadership recognized the potential of their incarcerated population as a resource for building a loyal military force. Over time, the prison population was conscripted into service, undergoing rigorous training and indoctrination to become the disciplined soldiers of the Hellstorm Corps.
Generals within branches of the Corps are dubbed Centurion Commanders in honor of the planet's ruler, symbolizing their authority and allegiance to the sovereign of Sablethorne. Each soldier is identified by a unique alphanumeric code, consisting of a letter followed by a number, stripping them of their former identities and emphasizing their loyalty to the Corps and its chain of command. Despite their origins as criminals, members of the Corps are fiercely loyal to their leader and the planet they serve, willing to fight and die in defense of their home.
