Hello, It's my first time here and I would like to say I'm very new to this. I'm not new to Roleplay, but on a forum-like setting. I wanted to know if there's any place I can ask questions for help getting started?
So, with character creation, how do I know that I'm adhering to current events and the world's history? Is there a place that I can read about the major events that have shaped this world? This would be the place! Feel free to ask your questions here!
In regards to your question about location, yes everything is done in forum posts. We don't have particular areas for different locations, you jsut write in your thread where you are. Some people do a spcial header for example:So, with character creation, how do I know that I'm adhering to current events and the world's history? Is there a place that I can read about the major events that have shaped this world?
Also, when that is all up, are the locations just forum posts? How do I exactly navigate it?
I'll be happy to answer any questions as well. Once You have a character sheet up I'd be happy to rp with you as well.Hello, It's my first time here and I would like to say I'm very new to this. I've done GTA RP and US Government Roleplay, but I have always been Star Wars fan and know much about it. But I am completely new to Star Wars RP. So any info helps! I will check out the Timeline and do a deep read!Welcome to Chaos. Feel free to ask lots of questions, as many as you need. Generally a lot of them will be answered by simply reading The Rules. They aren't just there for the most basic rules of conduct. They outline a lot. Think of them like a good onboarding. I see someone already directed you to The timeline. This is pretty great for getting your bearings.
I saw you said you aren't new to RPing. Great. How long have you been at it? Are you new to Star Wars RP in general, or are you also more familiar with it? (Not trying to gatekeep, but judge how much help you actually might need, whether or not you might be aware of certain resources, terminology, etc. These questions are to help with onboarding and getting to know you a little bit.)
Thank you so much. I make sure to read it all.The Timeline is good to use as a reference for new people.
