Hello darkness my old friend

If anything Avaritia was a Verd down to the bones, this was proven time and time again when she continuously hacked the BB-unit her mother had painstakingly created to keep her out of harms way. It was this same streak of rebellion that her mother and grandfather were known for. So when she ended up on Echoy'la it would come as no surprise to her mother or grandfather. Wandering around the city, she would go exploring, the adorable droid following behind her to keep up appearances so when she found herself outside what appeared to be a cave for exploring though in all actuality was a mine she hurried on in.

Skipping inside , the young girl would make her way deep into the mine, ignoring the warning chirps of the droid following behind her, she may of hacked it but it still had to point out something could be potentially dangerous. Growing annoyed she would turn and face the droid, her little hands moving to her hips. "Hush, nothing dangerous here." She would snap impatiently before turning and walking forward. Not paying attention, she would trip over a cord and stumble to her knees it was only when she was getting up that the whole place would be enveloped in blackness.

It was that sudden blackness that would bring the suffocating fear; a fear able to paralyze her in place. Trembling violently, she would give a strangled whimper, remembering that she had messed with her companions controls. No light would come to her aid anytime soon. It was with this realization that the air rushed forth from her lunges in a frantic gush, her fear of darkness causing her to hyperventilate to the point she could not get any air back into her lungs. Curling into a ball, she would sent out a pathetic yet terrified nudge for her grandfather, her head growing fuzzy with the lack of oxygen.

She was her mother's child, alright.

To stay out of trouble was the only instruction that Isley had given his granddaughter. And honestly, he thought that the current circumstances would have allowed that much to occur. The rise of the Mandalorian Empire had afforded him a rather stunning number of personal supporters; and in light of this, there were now many who did not mind keeping an eye out for the littlest Verd. However, it seemed as though [member="Avaritia Daemon"] had a knack for evading the supervision of adults; so much so that the Mand'alor himself was notified of her unannounced trip.

As such, by the time that the mineshaft darkened, Isley was already looking for the little one. It was only a matter of time before he picked up her trail, but a rather alarming, telepathic nudge set him in the right direction. An old mine...she would find the most dangerous hole on Echoy'la. With urgency bleeding into every step, Isley made his way into the Darkness whilst bearing in hand a floating light. It cast bright light upon the mine's walls, piercing the black which terrified the young Verd.

"Avaritia! Where are you!"

Suffocating, she was suffocating in the darkness. Trapped within her mind due to the panic attack brought on by the darkness , the only sound that could be heard was a wheezing gasp of air followed by the frantic chirping of a droid. Curled into a ball on the floor, a terrified Ava would continue gasping for air.

She heard her grandfather at a distance but she imagined him. He was old and not that quickly so she would lock herself into the safe place within her mind that protected her from the darkness. What was unknown to her was when she trapped herself in the tiny room in her mind she often times forgot to breath and such was one of those times. Chest heaving with labored gasps, she would whimper lowly.

It wasn't the labored breathing of the youngling which finally brought the Mand'alor to the child's side, but rather the frantic chirping of her BB-Unit. The sphere-shaped droid had heard Isley's voice and revealed its internal torch as a means of helping the Mandalorian along. Isley, then, saw the flame and rushed over. "Avaritia?!" he breathed, dropping to a knee. "BB, what happened?" To this inquiry was given a series of frantic chirps and beeps. Apparently she had fallen into panic upon the lights going out. To make matters worse, she wasn't breathing.

Kaaark. thought Isley, as he plucked the child into his arms. At once he made for the mouth of the mineshaft, barking an order over his helm's comm. By the time they arrived in the light, a duo of guards would be waiting to aide in giving the little one medical attention. "Ava, wake up." came the Mand'alor's plea. She was laid upon a stretcher and an oxygen mask readied.
