Hello all!

Not many of you are likely to know me as I've only been on Chaos for a day over a month now but I'm wanting to expand on my experience on this site and discover other writers of similar taste to my own style of role-play.

Coming to this site, [member="Tirdarius"] introduced me to what has been mostly encouraging from what I've seen and what threads I've taken part in thus far. It's that positive experience that I'm hoping to build on and steer well clear of the OOC side of things where possible.

You'll notice that this isn't my first faction nor is it my only currently active, pushing this aside, this is the first darksider I've attempted to play within character and though he's still new, too proud to submit yet to inexperienced to stand up for himself; I am hoping to broaden his horizons in potential regarding the Dark Side of the Force. From what Tirdarius has told me, this would be the best place for that.

I'm hoping he's right!

Not sure if you are aware, but the Black Rose have quite openly declared themselves enemies of the One Sith, and their troops fought against the Sith in recent invasions. Being in both factions creates a little conflict of interest. But as long as those ties remain hidden IC, your character probably won't run into trouble.

I'm pretty well informed regarding the two factions I'm afraid yes though when it comes to role-playing, the emphasis for me is in the characters perspective (point of view) and though he is apprenticed to one from the Black Rose, I did not wish to hinder any possibility of him meeting others skilled in the dark side. Zarack is young and still very impressionable, he follows orders yet at this point is not knowledgeable in the politics and therefore holds no personal distaste towards any others, (even lightsiders for the time being).

On a strictly OOC note: whatever drama's that happened between the factions, occurred before my joining Chaos. I'm not looking to get caught up in any of it and I hope no one thinks differently of me for my characters taken directions (factions etc). I'm just here to role-play with good people.

That's good to hear! I was working under the assumption that you were a new member who might not be up to date on that conflict. Offering information was my only intent. There shouldn't be a problem, just something to keep in mind in regards to IC actions and IC consequences.

There's no reason you should get caught up in the drama or for anyone to think differently of you or your character. If you do run into any problems, feel free to PM me and I will look into it.
