Description: The Hekler'Kok Resistance sub machine gun was designed to arm resistance groups in the galaxy at whole. The main reasoning behind making this was simple: orginizing resistances across the galaxy and in order to do that, standardized weapons needed to be put in place. So plans were drawn up and the products of these plans went into testing and after testing nearly eleven different sub machine guns were put through testing but finally the Resistance model was put into production, this of course was because its strengths. It first strength is obviously the compactness of the weapon, being able to be folded up and fit in something nearly the size of a briefcase, this allows for it to be easily concealed. Another strength is that it is lightweight, just being almost a kilogram and a half, it can easily be toted around to less strong resistance members like women or children. Its most important strength is probably the fact that it loads from the side, this is a strength because the side loading mechanism makes it great for fighting confined spaces like buildings, tunnels and things of the sort. Though it does come with a good amount of weaknesses, it also come with its downfalls. One of them being the things lack of stopping power, only being able to pierce light armor at medium ranges and medium armor at close range. Another downfall would be the fact the weapons range is not suitable for long range, due to the fact that the weapon was designed to be used in close, confined ranges. It is worthy of noting that this weapon is extremely cheap to make, the new ones usually retail at about fifty credits and used they usually retail at twenty-five.
