Description: The HR-1 was a idea for Hekler'Kok to start a new line of weapons that tapered more for civilians rather than making more military weapons or making a weapon that was available to both military and civilians alike. The HR-1 has a rugged design, being able to stand up to the most harsh environments that the galaxy could throw at it, a duraplast shell makes it lightweight, a quandanium steel barrel makes it more accurate due to it being heavier then most other metals and therefore reduces barrel whip and durasteel inners to protect against harsh environments. Being a bolt-action design the rifle lacks the high rate of fire power, though its straight-pull bolt system still makes it faster than other bolt-action rifles. The idea behind the bolt-action design was two main reasons, accuracy and cost. It is a well known fact that bolt-action rifles are wholly more accurate than semi-automatic rifles due to the fact that a semi-automatic user tends to fire off more than one round at a time, causing the rifle to rise, pulling the rounds off targets, while a bolt-action user can only fire one shot at a time, meaning that the shooter shoots one shot and then must chamber a round, which gives the recoil times to dissapate before the rifle fire again. The cost size was because that bolt-action designs tend to cost much less to produce than semi-automatic designs due to less moving parts and small parts in them.
