The Cinder Hierophant
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
Produced by Jaeger Solutions in a limited run, the HEKA-42 Sith Combat Droid is a specialized model created for the primary purpose of training young Sith. As any practical teacher will tell you, safe training will only prepare you for a safe experience. To excel in a genuinely dangerous world, one must train in genuine danger. This is an ideal the Sith have historically perfected, perhaps to their detriment. High rates of death among trainees have long been argued to weed out the week and unworthy from the Sith. Certainly, records of a dozen Jedi falling before one Sith are proof of this concept's efficacy.
The heart of the issue lies in the relatively few Sith this philosophy produces. Fewer Sith might mean more powerful Sith, but it also means the Order is always just a few deaths away from exile, extinction, irrelevance. Thus, the quandary: how to provide trainees with an enemy that can absolutely hurt them, and badly, but not permanently? In the HEKA-42 Sith Combat Droid, Jaeger Solutions has provided the answer to this age-old question.
In pursuit of its goal to increase the number of viable Sith trainees without reducing the quality of its students, the Palace of Silver Rain continues to fund initiatives that safely severely injure young Sith.

- Manufacturer: Jaeger Solutions
- Affiliation: The Sith Order- Palace of Silver Rain
- Market Status: Closed-Market
- Model: HEKA-42 Sith Combat Droid
- Modularity: Minimal. Difficulty scales exponentially with the scope of the modification, especially if the mechanic is not a Jaeger-trained technician.
- Production: Semi-Unique
- Material: Duraplast, durasteel, industry standard actuators/motivator, sonic generators, system insulation, dynamic sensory bank, plasma battery cell and reserve power cell, emergency solar array
- Classification: Class IV
- Weight: Extremely Heavy
- Height: Large/Very Large (See above)
- Movement: Bipedal
- Armaments: (1) Modular vibro-greatsword, capable of splitting into (2) or (4) single-edged vibroblades, edged in duraplast to increase lightsaber resistance.
- Misc. Equipment: (2) DS-102 Aegis Personal Energy Shield emitters, loaded into the droids auxiliary hands.
- Resistances:
- Energy: Average
- Kinetic: Very High
- Lightsabers: High
- EMP/ION: High
- Sonic: Average
- Gentle Caretaker: The HEKA is capable of shifting into a passive-appearing and compact form, in which it can perform limited maintenance and protocol work. Being a Class-IV droid, the HEKA is not optimized for these tasks, but manages enough of a facsimile that one might mistake them for ornamental droids.
- Split Blade: The HEKA-42 is armed with a modular dual-edged greatsword, which can divide into twin sabres, and again into four scimitars. As one of its primary functions is training, this allows for a martial student to recreate a number of melee combat scenarios.
- Exacting Mechanism: The HEKA-42 Sith Combat Droid is a machine in total control, capable of making decisions in hundredths of a second. Though huge and crushingly powerful, the HEKA is optimized so that sparring partners are never accidentally injured; only purposefully injured, and to the exact degree the droid is programmed to injure.
- Edge Uncommon: Designed for combat with Sith initiates, the swords and plating of the HEKA are lightsaber-resistant, each of the variable sword hilts is fitted with a sonic generator to transform the dead sword into a vibroblade, and the Droid is well insulated against EMP and ION attack, to mitigate damage caused by the Sith Tempest Arts.
- Formidable Foe: The HEKA is built solely for melee combat. With a massive frame, fast actuators, 4 arms, a modular vibrosword, and two personal energy shield emitters in its lower hands, the HEKA is good at what it does.
- Close and Personal: An oddity among battle droids, the HEKA features no blaster weapons or similar ranged armament. Though its digits could theoretically manipulate a very large blaster, the HEKA's subroutines are optimized for melee combat only.
- Thunderous Footfall: Though in compact form it may appear just slightly larger than the average protocol droid, the HEKA is frighteningly heavy. It is difficult to transport, is not supported by all terrain, and expends much energy when covering ground quickly.
