Heir Hunting Part two

She walked around him drawing the force around them for this first session

around us the force resided..its in everything, it gives the life that we see before use, it gave life to me...and you...reach out...let the force pull you like a river...byt don't let it drag you...you control it..not the opposite in this case

She sat in front of him as she watched him

He sat and felt the winds around him fade out of touch. Instead he found himself feeling a new form of energy. It was a strong torrent making its way, swirling around and through him. He could feel it, he reached out for it with his very essence.

It slowly worked its way into the stream he could feel around him. As he touched with the force he felt nothing. And yet at the same time Avin felt everything. It was a cold stream flowing through him, though it started to gain pace. Avin focused harder and it became harder for him to maintain connection. He allowed himself to relax again in order to return to the point of the flow.

She watched him as felt him in the force she gave a smile, she reached out a placed a hand on his chest channeling the force through him letting him feel it...he would still need to concentrate

focus on it...i want you to feel the dark and light now

Avin was caught off guard as he felt her press against her, his mind took the stimulus and his attention shifted. He could feel her in the flow yet as opposed to everything else that was a distinct binary within the force, he felt her as a grey area. He couldn't read her intentions or... well words were failing to describe the very essence of the force within this moment. His body tensed and he felt a flow go through him. Now boosted by her presence.

Avin felt the shifts between the light and the ever beckoning shadows at the side of his conciseness. He focused on his words trying to become part of both. He reached out towards the shadows and the flow around him shifted. He off put this by trying to balance his mind.

He opened his eyes and saw [member="Stardust Raxis"] sat in front of him, and yet the flow of energies was still all powerful around him.

I am a son of the Mountain.
Varren stood in the cockpit of his Gozanti-class cruiser with a condemning look on his face. It had been several weeks since the young Inquisitor had been awaken from his stasis sleep and since he has had little to occupy his time. Because of his lack of training his duties with The Imperial Remnant were few and far apart, leaving much time for training and meditation. But there was only so much meditation one could do before he would seek other ways to fill his time. Varren had found a way to fill his time that would both test the skills he had but also expand on the ones that were in decline. The duties of an Inquisitor were far different from a Sith Warrior, they required tact and stealth. Most importantly they required patience, a thing the former Sith did not have an abundance of.

The novice Inquisitor crossed his arms, the soft pull of his ship snapping his attention to the planet his cruiser slowly drifted over.

Coruscant. It had taken a lot of work and credits for Varren to secure the codes needed to land on this planet. Though Coruscant was under the jurisdiction of the Galactic Alliance it was too easy for a single vessel to slip by their meager defense measures. Wasting no time Varren began to transmit the codes to the planetary security, using the same transponder codes as a small mercenary sect that operated in the outer rim. He slipped into the pilot's seat and watched the screens carefully, prepared to make a swift getaway if necessary. A few moments passed and the transponder screen came alight with a green hue, showing that the security vessels were accepting his code. With a triumphant smirk Varren took hold of his ship's controls, aiming the vessel down towards the planet below.

The breach of Coruscant's atmosphere was a simple one once he had finally found himself flying over the mass city that created the planet he activated the ship's autopilot while he made his way out of the cockpit. I'll have to keep quiet. He mused as he walked to a bag he had tucked away in the cargo area. Coruscant was a dangerous place for a member of the Remnant to be, however it was also an easy planet to remain hidded if one was smart enough. Today he would find out just how smart he was....

He pulled off his Inquisitor's uniform, setting it aside as he rummaged in the bag before him. In place of his uniform he donned a pair of black jeans and a matching pilot's jacket, knowing they would be far less conspicuous compared to a uniform that literally had the Empire's seal on it.

After pulling on the disguise he tucked his uniform back into the bag where his civilian clothes had come from. The Inquisitor took hold of his lightsaber and exhaled before placing it in a pocket on the inside of his jacket. For the first time in weeks Varren's caramel skin and brown hair were open to the world, something he truly did not care for.

She removed Her hand as she saw his eyes opening and nodded, that was the basics...the easier part, she stood as she got a few training sabers and different thungs, she took a can a light little thing and sat it in from of him

focus on trying to rise the can about oh...lets go half a inch

She gave a nod, she was confident on his ability...he had so much potential and she would help him get to the fullest

Avin looked at the can, his attempts in the past to do anything had always failed. But the energies were so much clearer up here, he was more focused and his mind was at rest.

"Ok, sure" he replied quietly

His eyes stayed open whilst he focused his attention on the can. Slowly he reached out for the flow, feeling it pass over him, the can and Star.

He used the energy to reach out and feel the force around and within the can. He focused harder. His right hand hand came out in front of him, palm out. His hand turned palm up and started raising it. He willed the force to imitate. His eyes opened to see the can still not moving. He closed his eyes again and brought his arms back to his sides. He stopped and listened intently again to the wind and whistle of the hills and nearby ocean. His head cleared, and he just let himself drift over the can. Once again Avin pushed his own energy over the small object, willing for its movement.

The can started to wobble slightly, the object raised by a few centimetres off of the ground. Avin carried on focusing to push harder and it raised to about an inch of the ground, Avin's whole body tensed as he struggled. He opened his eyes to see it floating before he lost his concentration and it dropped back into the earth.

She watched him, she would not assist him in this for it was like lifting a weight, the more you tried the better you got, till one could lift things that shouldn't even be possible

She gave a proud smile tapping his shoulder as she looked into his eyes

good good you did even more then half a inch , I'm impressed and I can say the less proud, now practice on keeping it up

Avin followed through his procedures again, his eyes closing and becoming in sync with the flow, riding on its current but forcing himself not to be dragged under. His mind became clear and he became one with the area around him and focused on the movement of the can, it started to lift. Not as high this time but he held it there shutting out his surroundings.

He sat and felt in tune with the force, allowing his eyes to open and maintain the can in the air for close on to a minute before he began to fatigue, he placed the can back on the ground this time with slightly more control before rolling onto his back and inhaling.

"I never thought it would be as hard work." Avin stated as the sun beamed down on his Kuati tanned skin.

She patted his shoulder as she nodded with a smile. It reminded her of her younger years when she learned to first do things like this, though it was much larger objects like rocks and such...she wondered now how she even didn't so

it's like weight ligting, you increasingly get better and better at it, you have potential and as long as you wish I'll see through you get to the best

She looked to the setting sun and gave him a a dress and a note

go rest avin, tomorrow we do more

He stood up and took the note, "Sure, thanks"

Avin made his way back off the hill and into town after saying his goodbyes and thank yous to Stardust. Avin still had no clue how he had done it, he had always toyed with it in trials before. Even going as far as to lifting up a coin once but never managed it again. Until now. Now the energies he felt on the mountain were felt everywhere, it was as if some unknown awakening had taken place within side his very body and soul. He stopped a group of people in the street and had them point him towards the address she had given him.

The simple apartment was perfect in size for him, one bed. And Actual bed! As well as a few minor furnishings. He washed and ate before dropping onto his bed for a deep sleep.
