DESCRIPTION
In conjunction with their collaboration to upgrade the High King's wargear, Prince Beren of Clan Blackmane and heir to the Duergar throne, was exposed to a great of technology his kind could only dream of — to think that the countless realms among the stars had achieved such science, whilst his people still relied on something so rudimentary as gunpowder! It dawned on him then just how far his kind had fallen, shackled by tradition and religious dogma when their hearts yearned for scientific progress.

As their work neared its end, Beren gifted Thurion this pistol; a prototype the eccentric scientist had invented on his spare time using his very limited exposure to the advanced technology of the stars. Although he's never been one for blasters or even considered a ranged option in general, the Lion graciously accepted the gift on behalf of the Above before departing the Under-Realm, further strengthening the bonds between Men and Dwarfkin.

Heaven's Wrath utilises plasma technology, firing super-heated, ionised rounds capable of penetrating even heavy armour, and will instantly liquefy unarmoured targets. The trigger can be held down for a charged shot capable of inflicted even greater damage, though this will cause the weapon to overheat far quicker, triggering a cooldown period after only a couple of shots. Regular shots only generate a small amount of heat, allowing for sustained fire before initiating the cooldown period.

As the newest addition to the Lion's arsenal, he wields Heaven's Wrath as a welcomed counter against ranged foes and as a means to interrupt particularly aggressive enemies, forcing them to disengage or suffer the consequences.
