ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Automation. The Reach has extensive automation capabilities. It can churn out war material like weaponry, droids, armor and all manners of starships with little to no input from organics. All it metaphorically needs are the blueprints and then it can go to work.
  • Versatility. Among its facilities are Self-Constructing Armament Factories, Self-Regulating Droidmakers, Garment-fabricators (uniforms and boots were quite important as far as Tai Fa was concerned), Molecular Furnaces and Duplicators.
  • Hangar Bays. Thousand upon thousands of transports and freighters are capable of docking and undocking with this station to unload resources, materials and pick-up new shipments.
  • Fusion. The Isotype-5 reactor allows it to function for an extraordinary amount of time and with far greater efficiency than most other orbital manufacturing installations.
Strengths:
  • Elaborate: This orbital manufacturing installation are some of the finest and extensive within the Sith Empire and are capable of producing anything its war machine needs to continue the Empire's expansion throughout the Galaxy.
  • Advanced: From automation to a cutting-edge Isotope-5 reactor and extensive hangar bays, they are considered as a high point in Sith-Imperial engineering.
  • Defenses: The Reach has a very durable agrinium structure, heavy shielding and elaborate point defense systems.
Weaknesses:
  • Armament: It has no ability to strike back at any possible assailants. Instead it simply needs to hunker down and wait, until reinforcements arrive to defend it.
  • Fixed: It has almost no ability to move around at its own accord. It needs a dedicated tug ship to be positioned, re-positioned or moved around.
  • Vulnerable: Its automated nature makes it very vulnerable to ion attacks and similar effects.
Description: The Sith Empire has burned, conquered and diplomatically annexed its way through the Tingel Arm and beyond. The farther they reached, the more the Empire was in need for materials of war: new ships, armor, weapons, vehicles, droids, the war machine of the Sith Empire never rested. In response to this new need the Saaraishash dug deep in the annals of Sith history, of which it was the official caretaker, and uncovered several designs that could be helpful here.

It always paid to look upon the past and learn from it.

From the mythical Sun Razer to the legendary Star Forge, the Empire had a history of either controlling or creating structures of unimaginable power. Sadly the current Sith Empire was incapable of replicating these particular feats.

But it could be inspired by them.

The Reach is not a gargantuan nexus of the Force that can draw from the Darkside to create an unlimited fleet of automated starships to conquer the Galaxy. It cannot draw so much energy in one time to power an entire civilization at once and generate super-weapons. It isn't dragging star material and energy from a nearby star to power the facility close to indefinitely.

Truth to be told Lord Saarai thought all of that was rather silly and expensive anyway.

Instead the Heaven's Reach takes the general principle of Isotope-5's exceptional energy channeling properties and combined it with an advanced automation system to allow a steady, efficient production of war material of many sorts for the Sith Empire's armies and navy.

Powerful? Yes. Overcompensating and complicated? Not at all.

The issue is that we're getting into the superweapon area because of its similarity to the Razer and Starforge. If you want to have this be completely powered by the Isotope-5 reactors, that should be fine.
