  • Improves the user's ability to heal.
  • Energises and empowers beings in the vicinity of the orb.
  • The aura provided by the pendant provides the user some ability to control and defend against sith lightning

  • The combination of crystals on the pendant provide a strong boost to the wearer's ability to heal, allowing them to heal more with less energy usage, allowing the wearer to heal without having to draw on their own life force to heal vast numbers or serious injuries.
  • The pendant provides and aura to those surrounding it energising and empowering those in it's vicinity, which is great for the often overworked medical teams and their patients.
  • A side effect of the pendant's construction is an increased ability on the side of it's user to deflect and defend against sith lightning.

  • In the presence of a force null-field the pendant is nothing more than a pretty bauble.
  • The Heart contains no overtly active or offensive force abilities, merely providing boosts to the user and those around them.
  • The pendant acts as a beacon in the force, shining brightly for everyone in the area, there's no point trying to hide.

Alloys are created when you mix metals, with the goal of taking the best parts of all of them in order to make something new, and it was this precise technique that John applied to the creation of the Heart of Aceso. Except instead of applying the technique to metals he applied it to crystals.
The Kaiburr crystal was a well-known powerhouse of a crystal, however, it was also well known for losing it's power when you left the planet it was housed on. While the unpowered crystal made an effective lightsaber crystal, that wasn't really what John had in mind for it. The budding designer had located another crystal, the Mantle of the Force which he thought might be exactly what he was looking for. It so happened that one of the unique abilities of the mantle of the force was that it altered it's properties based on other crystals, making it more powerful in those areas. The Crystals were actually paired on the planet of Mimban, the natural home of the Kaiburr crystal before being removed from the planet. While the Kaiburr crystal it'self contained only memories of its former power, the Mantle of the Force had already been altered, mimicking the abilities the Kaiburr crystal originally had. The inclusion of the Solari crystal only served to provide the artefact with a light side focus, turning the pendant into a healing artefact capable of boosting an individual's abilities and presence significantly.
