What wicked creature was he who first brought evil into the nature of the universe? What twisted being was the first to cast a pebble of sin into the purity of nature when it was at its most righteous form? Was it an act brought on by jealousy? Hate? Love? Or, is it possible that nature in of itself is driven by one inherently evil trait; lust. Even the most basic forms of life are driven by lust. Animals tear one another apart because of the lust to live, mate or have a home. Even plants, who grow and overtake worlds, do so for what could be described as one unconscious desire to live and thrive. A lust for life.

Perhaps, it is the sentient beings of the galaxy who were bringing about its ruin. They battle over moral obligation and belief when the real answer is so simple that they cannot even begin to grasp it. The universe survives only because of one trait that is most responsible for what the Jedi would call evil, the lust for more. More power, more life, more money, even the lust not to lust. The very concept bound the galaxy at the seams and so maybe, Vulcanus had finally appeared to set the galaxy back on its natural course.

The Dark Lord of the Sith waited patiently in the mind of his new vessel, [member="Dredge"] . The Overlord of the Vong had made the mistake of putting on the Dark Lord's armor when he found his temple on Aurum and now, the two allied out of the need for one another's assistance. Dredge would assist Vulcanus in the creation of something vile that would assure his ultimate victory over death and, in return, the Dark Lord would destroy those whom the Vong lusted after for revenge. This task would take them throughout the outer rim to collect the necessary components for Vulcanus's ceremony. Their first target would be Utapau, a world left void of defense and ripe for the arrival of the former Sith Emperor and his abomination of a command ship.

"Soon, lesser" Vulcanus purred in the mind of his Vong vessel as he watched Utapau inch closer from possessed eyes, "soon our plan will be in motion and the vengeance of your people will be a step closer."

[member="Darth Vulcanus"]

"Yes, yes it shall." Dredge responded in a soft manner. He was here for one reason and one reason only, his people. He was not a savior, hell he wasn't even an overlord anymore. He was just a Vong trying to clean up his own mess. The omen command ship broke the atmosphere in a cone of bright red flame and fury, it's massive shape descending onto the now free world of Utapou. Dredge smiled for the first time in a very long while as he citizens of this burrow peered out to see their dooms approach. It was time to do as the dark lord commanded, it was to fulfill his end of the bargain no matter the cost. He had people to deliver from destruction and revenge to take.

"Unleash the collectors." And by those words, all hell broke loose. A collective hum of power activated and inside the cargo hold of the ship over a few thousand droids activated and sprung to life. In a roar of wind hundreds and hundreds of machines poured out of the cargo hold in a swarm directed downwards at the now screaming civilians of Utapou.

Swarms and swarms of collector droids flew downwards from the omen command ship and descended down the burrow. Swarming onto star ships before they could take off chewing through walls and killing all who fired upon them with lethal intent. The people screamed bellow as the droids began to ravage their homes. A single collector droid touched down in the midst of all the chaos it's long and slender frame jetting up like a spider as it cornered a family of the local populace. Screaming the mother and child held each other as the what looked to be the father held a blaster at the monstrosity. Firing a few shots the man struck the beast in one of its many arms before he was quickly impaled on to a spike emitted from one of its hands and tossed down the middle of the burrow. The wife and child screamed loudly, and then they were taken. Snatched up and taken back to the command ship along with what looked to be dozens of others that came in with the first wave.

A darkness fell upon the world, casting a grand shadow across the broken valley's of Utapau. The plight of the inhabitants was ironic; in order to live they hid themselves in the massive pits across their planet's surface. Now, those same pits would see them trapped like rats as the collector swarms drug them from their homes. They would all serve a greater purpose as the hostages of Vulcanus and Dredge than they ever would have as the peasant occupants of the worthless world they called home.

Within minutes of their arrival in the atmosphere, the Omen-class commandship had come to rest on the surface of the planet. The monstrous beast, a twisted concoction of organic material and pure unhinged evil, burst with a violent and all encompassing howl that swallowed the sounds of nature for miles. Every whisper of the wind and every child's scream was silenced by the burst of anger that the ship had let out. Eardrums burst, glass shattered and the surface itself shuttered in fear; dislodging rocks in the ceiling of the caverns and pelting the frantic civilians below with them.

Vulcanus continued to observe through the eyes of his host, watching as the Utapauians were grappled by the mechanical monstrosities unleashed upon them. "The time has come, unleash the horde upon them. My Graug will ensure that no lesser will escape us in passageways inaccessible to your collectors" Vulcanus growled within the Vong's head,"there are to be no survivors."

[member="Darth Vulcanus"]

"Understood" Dredge nodded at the spirits words, looking over to a Yuuzhan Vong ship hand he nodded and have the order. A horn inside the beast burst to life and rang in a sharp tone. It was time to let loose the troops and silence this pathetic city. There could be no whitnesses to what had occurred here. Part of Dredge howled in delight over the blood that was to be spilt, oh how it brought joy to his old soul. The nostalgia of killing once more and spilling innocent blood. The ex overlord stepped down from the bridge and made his way towards the hanger of the ship.

Watching dozens and dozens of collector droids flew scared innocent people inside only to be carried away by the ships crew, dredge took a sense of satisfaction in this sight. Hearing their screams as loved ones were torn from each other and sent to the prison bellow. Almost music to his ears. Behind him stood hundreds of Graug and Yuuzhan Vong warriors ready to move into battle. Looking back at the men Dredge cast a wicked and evil grin upon his face then pointed forward. With a beast like roar dredge watched the collectors droids pick up his men and begin to shuttle them to the surface of the world

Stepping forward to the edge of the hanger Dredge grinned once more and uttered three simple words. "Kill them all." And then, he jumped.

Screaming at the top of his lungs the mad man James Parker laughed and cried as he rode a collector droid down to the pits of the burrow. An agent of the fallen Horde Parker would be wherever death and destruction lay. And there was a lot of both here. Shoving a robotic arm in the air the shirtless and tatted up psychopath howled in delight his face split with a grin. "I LOVE MY FETHING JOB!!" He cried out as the droid neared the ground closer and closer to where it needed to be. Taking the initiative Parker looked out to his right and could see an opening, a group of Graug were engaging a local militia squad pinned down behind some crates. By the looks of it they were defending some sort of hospital where wounded were being poured into with haste. The mad man jerked the collector to the side and forced it to fly right. Hoping up Parker came close to the edge of the burrow then jumped

Flying through the air Parker laughed wildly as everything seemed to go in slow motion. Screaming now he entered a gap through a series of pillars behind the militia squad. With a roll he broke his fall and sprung up wielding two things. A KD-20 slug thrower and a vibro hatchet that was about to get a crimson paint job. "GENTLEMEN!!" Parker yelled then sized up the threat for a fraction of a second. Six men, this was going to be fun. Lifting his slug throwe almost immediately after he landed Parker aimed the barrel of the gun at a militias face then fired two rounds. The slugs screamed through the air and impacted the aliens head sending bits of brain and skull out the back. The body fell down and twitched on the ground before Parker went back to work.

"DID YOU SEE HIS FETHING HEAD MATE?! IT WAS LIKE PPPBBBBTTTT!!!" Parker made a crude sound with his tongue before reaching out to man number two. Now losing the element of surprise Parker grabbed the man and flipped him around putting him in a choke hold. The untrained militia squad panicked and began to unload blaster bolts Into the body of their fellow man. With a large shove from his robotic hand Parker laughed as the man soared and landed atop another militia pinning him down. Drawing up his pistol again he aimed it at man number four and emptied the clip into his chest and guts. Falling over the man lay on the ground as the acid slugs chewed through his body spilling bile and entrails upon the ground. With a few blaster bolts flying over his head, Parker ducked down to see a scared man fire at him. With a quick whip around Parker clutched his tomahawk and let it fly.

Sticking into the face of the alien he collapsed backwards and died instantly. With a skip in his step Parker began to whistle as he looked towards the trapped alien underneath the bulk of his once living teammates body. "Please don't kill me!" The man yelled begging for his life. Reaching down Parker pulled the tomahawk from the dead aliens face and smiled. "Don't worry I ain't gonna kill ya." He said before looking over to the horde of Graug that were now inches away from the trapped man. "But they will." Turning around Parker looked towards the hospital as the sounds of screams and limbs being torn from their place was heard behind him.

Looking down at his arm Parker could see the arm that [member="Jorus Merrill"] had gifted with him the last time they were on Aurum. With a manic smile forming on his face Parker screamed and looked up at nothing in particular. "JORUS!! JORUS JORUS JORUS JORUS JORUS!!! YOU WILL BE MINE JORUS!!!" Screaming once more Parker looked down at his metallic arm and smiled. Looking back up at the hospital his grin shifted to that of a more evil one and he uttered a few soft words to the Gruag who had finished devouring the men behind him. "I hope you boys saved room for dessert." Slapping a new magazine into his gun he began to walk forward up the steps. "Cause were about to pay the nursery a visit."

Utapau, a nice enough planet. If you liked a lot of sarlacc pits and giant weird animals.

Jaryn had been here before, and had routine visits to check up on a friend who lived in a market town deep within the depths of an outskirt city and therefore, Jaryn was already inside the Utapau system when [member="Darth Vulcanus"] and [member="Dredge"] jointly arrived. Jaryn was stunned at first to see the Omen Class Command Ship in the skies of the beautiful planet.

He had never seen the ship before, however he was aware of its infamous tales of conquering the Republic forces and crushing Jedi might. However, Jaryn was certainly no jedi and would not allow Utapau to fall, however Jaryn was not alone. As his market town friend had made him aware of rumours of a small band of slavers attacking the airports. However, Jaryn had only brought substantial forces to deal with such a thing. Themselves and not much more than a few squads of republic troopers to provide support. They were not ready for such a thing, and therefore Jaryn made it an imperative that the troops contact the republic and send another jedi or so, and a proportionate amount of forces with them. However. Jaryn knew such a thing was unlikely. The republic was spread thin like butter over too much bread.

Jaryn was very aware of how unlikely the completion of their impending task would be. However, Jaryn and the troops officer thought it better he lead their troops on the battlefield, as he was the one who could actually speak. Jaryn, was speech-impaired and was heading directly for the snakes head, to cut it off before it was able to touch what Jaryn held dear with its treacherous venom. -May the force be with you, and your soldiers- Were Jaryn's last words to the man before they parted ways.

It wasn't long until they had touched ground, and Jaryn had only the assurance that more reinforcements were on their way to give them comfort. He hoped that a fellow Master would come to their aid, but the Jedi were spread thin, to an extreme degree. Especially the Masters, they might receive a Knight. Another force user would be helpful regardless of power, the more hands the better. Jaryn had never went up against Graug personally in any previous engagements he had endured against the Sith. However, he had discussed them at length with those who had. Long ago when such things fascinated him a great deal. However, this did not help much as he struggled to pass what forces he could. Such things became even less kind as he was simply overwhelmed and had to bypass most of them, whilst killing a few. He was tracking this [member="Darth Vulcanus"], he could feel his twisted signature like a stain in the weave of the force. Jaryn was coming for him, he couldn't say he knew much about the Sith Warlord he was about to face. But, he knew this would be his biggest challenge to date. He could only hope he was ready for what was ahead of him.

The young master was riding a Varactyl to navigate Utapua quickly, he would find this Sith soon enough.

UTAPOU HOSPITAL

With a ear splitting grin on his face Parker kicked open the doors to the hospital and took gazed at what lay in front of him. "Hello lovelies." Parker said in a cold detached voice that would chill the spins of lesser men. The front lobby was packed, quite literally packed from front to back with people of all ages cowering and being attended to by doctors and other medical staff. But as soon as Parker had kicked open those doors the room went silent and the tension in the air could be cut with a knife. Outside the sounds of screams and bombs going off could be heard as clear as day, collector droids screamed past windows carrying their prisoners up with them to the command ship for processing. However these things didn't matter to Parker right now, what mattered was the innocent men, women, and children that were in front of him.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!! WE ARE FROM THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF UTAPOU!!" Taking a step forward people scurried away from the door rolling backwards and crawling like bugs on the cement trying their best to escape from the man. "And we are here with some lovely information for you all." Coming in behind Parker dozens of Graug smiled fang filled grins in the shadows their teeth shinning in a cartoonish fashion. Holding his robotic hand out Parker pulled his hand back and forth asking for something. "You see we are here to inform you guys that if someone were to take this." With a small heave to his last word a lancer fully automatic blaster rifle was placed in his hand. "Now if someone were to take this here and activate it." Taking his human hand he slapped the primer and the weapon hummed to life with a low tone. "That it would be very bad!" Lowering the rifle as a few Grag came inside to stand next to Parker he spoke again

"And it would be horribly bad if they started shooting." With the grin coming back on his face it was too late now. Bright red lights flashed against his face as he began to open fire on the crowd of no less than eighty people. Laughing as loud as he could Parker screeched in delight watching as he gunned down men women and children, their bodies hitting the floor in thumps. Blood was quickly pulling around dozens of bodies with the combined fire power from all the Grag. "I HAVE THE SHINIEST MEAT BICYCLE!!!" Laughing more and more the aliens in the room screamed and ran in any direction that wasn't the firing line. Diving behind counters and furniture plenty of people were left in the open to for those too selfish to share cover. Mothers and children left in the open were quickly and ruthlessly shot down, the elderly, doctors, fething everyone was the target of blind malice and hatred.

After a minute had run by Parker grabbed a few grenades from his pockets and threw them. Ducking down five seconds ticked by and the grenades exploded turning the room into a mush that would not be described. Standing back up Parker chuckled and began to walk through the bloody mess of the room, letting the Graug pick off whoever was left alive. "No! No! No!!" Was heard behind Parker before a bolt from a blaster went off silencing the cries. Everything was silent for a moment then Parker heard it as clear as day. The sound of small ones crying above them. Oh his eyes were still trained to kill everything. No one was safe. "Shall we?" Parker said to the Graug then looked forward towards the door that would lead upstairs

The graug army swarmed over, the republic's troopers. [member="Ben Watts"] and a knight, were inbound with more troops. However Jaryn feared it would not be enough as the young Master rode his Varactyl through the upper streets of Utapau. The battle had been raging for a little more than ten minutes, Jaryn had been searching for [member="Darth Vulcanus"]/[member="Dredge"], however he could not find him.

Jaryn felt the great shadow of the hovering ship on his back, with every passing moments Graug emptying from the ship. However, the Sith Lord that was apparently leading this army was nowhere to be seen. Jaryn slowed his Varactyl to a stop as he overlooked the ongoing battle between the dwindling republic troopers and Utapau soldiers. It pulled at Jaryn's heart, the very essence of why he was doing this. He should've been down there, with the troops. Fighting alongside them, but he couldn't. He needed to silence their leader so that they made never do such a thing again, Jaryn had to face facts. They weren't going to win this fight, but if they were decide they had to stop this before the war began.

But, something troubled Jaryn. Where was Vulcanas? SMASH....!

Jaryn and his Varactyl were sent tumbling backwards as the Sith slammed flat into a platform Jaryn was already on, shards of debris rock flying off in several directions as Jaryn's Varactyl growled viciously in retort. -Oh no-

Jaryn leaped in front of the beast and raised his hands, in a moment of panic using what knowledge he had of the ability beast control to call him off.
-Go now my friend, this is my fight. I will return for you later, I promise-
The beast grunted, reluctant as it backed it. With this, Jaryn turned to face his opponent. This was the biggest challenge the young Master had ever faced, he only hoped he was ready for such an opponent.

However, when he touched the sith lords mind ahead of him to communicate. He was thrown back two entities in one fighting back his mental touch. Jaryn felt the dark shade lingering over him like a predator. But he held no fear in his heart, not of death nor of this beast. He stood firm, allowing the connection between the three entities to continue, making both aware of his presence.

-I can't allow you and your people to continue this crusade, this ends here-

There had been reports of Graxin's father returning to the known galaxy. The Jedi Knight, on a self-imposed exile after his embarrassing failure to secure the holocron of Darth Krayt from Sith forces, had taken it upon himself to track the monstrous Sith Lord down. [member="Darth Vulcanus"] had raised him to be the perfect tool, and extension of the Graug's will. For the majority of his life, Graxin had served dutifully until the fall of their Empire helped him put things into perspective.

He had thought Krag to be dead after that.

Evidently, he had thought wrong.

Normally, Graxin would have shunned the thought of leading soldiers into combat again. During his time as the former Emperor's Hand, he had been at the head of many incursions, though never had he felt himself responsible enough to lead the Republic's forces. It was coincidence in fact, that he was one of the closest Knights available. He had been following Vulcanus, anticipating where he may go, when the call for assistance rang out. He had been near system when the call rang out, and he did indeed respond.

Regretfully, what he brought with him was a token force, some two dozen strong, all volunteers from one of the neighboring outpost worlds. It was the best that could be done on such short notice. Either way, they would assist the defenders as best they could, and if luck was with Graxin, he would finally come face to face with his former mentor.

Two shuttles disembarked from a small patrol ship that had entered they system. The patrol ship had no hope of fending off the Graug ships, but it could drop off its passengers, in a way. The dropships, each filled with soldiers in supplies of every kind, soared down toward the city in an effort to offload soldier. Graxin, along with his two Graug associates, Thurg and Shlurk, were strapped in awaiting the moment the shuttles touched the ground.

There had been a link, an establishment of a line between he and beaming presence that had evidently arrived to sour the the plans that Vulcanus had for this world. "Jedi" Vulcanus spat the words as he hit the ground, the impact of his alchemitic boots tossing debris across the open wastes of Utapau like rounds from a canon. Rays of light barely broke through the cloud of dust that had been kicked up by the impact, but what light that did make it through worked only to cast a broken shadow of the devil within. The head of the fallen Emperor rose slightly above the whirling cloud, the green eyes of a Vong glaring daggers back at Jaryn.

"Men who challenge gods serve only as examples to the rest of the galaxy." Vulcanus growled through the strained throat, "you should have known better than to come alone, lesser. Your head will rest upon a pike on this world, for your friends to find long after my goal has been completed." a wicked grin broke the features of the Vong overlord's face

"That is, unless you now realize your error" The Dark Lord of the Sith was now bound to his armor, which acted as a Darkside nexus in of itself, and he planned to utilize its full potential here. Like a puppet master pulling strings, Vulcanus commander Dredge's armor forward and showered the Jedi with a pulse of energy from the nexus the armor and Sith sword produced. "Feel the power of a god, lesser. You cannot win, but you may still serve a purpose. Before I left to the Outer Rim, the One Sith had taken Coruscant. Tell me, do you believe that you can stop them by controlling your anger? Your hate? We Sith are made powerful by our emotions, embracing the very nature of the universe and that is why we defeat you now."

Turning his hand over, Vulcanus began to focus his energies in the palm of his hand while he continued to shower the young Jedi in a cloud of dark energy, "Join me, lesser. Follow my armies to the One Sith and return to Coruscant as a conquer" Vulcanus twitched his fingers and a balm of flame shot to life in his hand, a spawn of pure dark energy "I can teach you the ways of the Darkside and by my side, you will be my apprentice. We will slay the Sith Masters and all who will dare to follow them and with my Graug Hordes, we spread my godhood to the stars until every planet is in our grasp."

With a dark glare, the Sith crushed the flame in hand "Justice can be yours, mercy is for the weak."

Jaryn stood still as the Sith lord spoke, feeling the power of the darkside burning furiously on the surface of [member="Darth Vulcanus"]' mind. He listened respectfully to his opponents words. The Sith made a few steps towards Jaryn, however the young master remained vigilant as waves as dark side energy showered upon his mind, Jaryn closed his eyes before impact. The young master allowed a beam of pure force energy, tranquility; to escape from his body. Clouded neither by light or dark, simply a pure swirling hurricane of force energy surrounded him for mere moments to catch the dark side energy that had been showered upon his mind. Jaryn stood, eyes open as he glared right through the Sith. He saw the two forms, the puppet and the master. He aware of which he was speaking to, he could feel the strings clutching to his temptation. Which, was nearly non-existent. But, was always there. Regardless of how miniscule it was.

Jaryn cracked a smile under his helmet, talk about an ego. This one fancied himself a gold! Although Jaryn had never quite faced an opponent such as this, he could not allow his resolve to crumble. Or everything he had endured would all be for naught.
The dark side energy came wave, after wave. However, Jaryn had the perfect defense. For months on end Jaryn had mastered the ability to calm himself when entering combat. Having the will to relinquish all other thoughts from his mind and enter a tranquil state to face foes with the utmost relentlessness and efficiency. The dark bounced off of the young Masters pure force energy aura, Jaryn was not a man of light or dark. He was pure.

-You make the mistake, of considering me one of them. I share common goals with the Jedi, I am not one of them-

He explained, as he took both blades from his utility belt. Holding both unignited in his hands, he paced slightly. Keeping his eyes on Vulcanus as he ignited both as he circled towards the Sith Lord.

-I do not wish to hold any titles or conquer any land, my only goal is to protect the innocent and I do not seek your narrow views of the force nor that of the Jedi, you, your hordes and your crusade ends here; now-

Jaryn stopped, a few metres away from the massive Sith. Touching the Sith's mind was unpleasant as it was twisted and coarse with evil thoughts and deluded thoughts of grandeur. He would refrain from communicating with the beast from this point onwards, but if needed he would stare into the heart of the creature if that was what was needed.

Graxin felt him before he ever saw him. The presence of Darth Vulcanus was tangible. Other Sith--or rather people who called themselves Sith--had motivations for conquest, or power. Vulcanus wanted to destroy everything. It made him specific in the force, and it also sent waves of terror through the Knight.

The bond that had been forged between them was undeniable. It was one of the force, forged in the fires of his training, and strengthened with the blood of those they had slaughtered together. It was a terrible bond indeed.

As Graxin's ship grew closer, he could feel Krag's power. The monster no longer possessed a physical form, and rather locked himself away in something entirely different. Something new that he had never seen before. That frightened him.

The shuttle touched down, and they only had a moment to offload. The Republic Soldiers flowed from the back of the transport, only to be met with a wall of laser fire. Calming himself for the battle to one, Graxin rushed out of the cargo hold behind the only two Graug still loyal to him.

He had no idea where Vulcanus was, but he had no doubt his old master would find him. He shone like a beacon of light in the force, and Krag would have been able to sense him even if he didn't. The Sith Lord had always been able to find his favored pet.

Graxin's twin blades roared to life as he set a boot on the dusty ground between the Graug Horde and the city. The Republic soldiers fought back, setting up makeshift turret emplacement, and charging Graug with vibroswords in pairs.

Graxin sprang forth from behind the his two Graug all, and fell into the flow of combat. Niman was a balanced form, and the use of Jar'kai made him a deadly foe on the battlefield.

Graug he had once led in the burning of cities fell in a bloody melee to his twin blades. He ducked under a club, parried a sword, blocked a stream of blaster bolts, and pitched a roll to get away from the transport as it too toward the skies.

He saw the meager defense of Utapau not far down the roadway. The soldiers he had brought were already rushing toward the hospital, as it was apparently under assault.

The Knight cursed under his breath, and nudged Slurk's mind with the force as he beheaded a berserker.

"Take Thrug and half the company to the hospital."

The gray skinned Graug was in the process of gutting a small specimen with his ritualistic dagger. He turned toward Graxin, and cracked a dutiful grin.

"As you say Grax'thul!"

The Graug acolyte thrust a meaty first toward the sky, and roared. Those soldiers assigned to his command followed without hesitation. There wasn't much room to disagree in the chaos of battle.

Graxin reached up and drew his good over his head. The thick leather would keep an enemy from completely carving through the back of his head and shield him from the Graug flames, hopefully.

He cleaved one of the smaller gruntlings in two, and brought his wrist up to his lips "This is Jedi Knight Graxin Rade. I've brought what support I can." He stated to whomever was on the defensive channel.

He and his soldiers continued to trudge on toward the others. He made sure to vibrantly give off his presence in the force, confident Krag would come for him at some point.

What an unfortunate fate, for a peaceloving soul such as Hayato to end up in situations like these. He was trying to have some of his things repaired at one of Utapau's workshops when the whole world got attacked by one of the galaxy's darkest adversaries. It was the former Sith Emperor Darth Vulcanus, commander of many legions of Graug soldiers, vile beasts from the deepest and most dark caverns of space, full of brutality and bloodlust. Hayato knew it would be disastrous for Utapau and every citizen on it if he were to lend no aid to the military forces protecting this interesting and unique world. Thankfully, he was quite close to the epicenter of the invasion, close to the beast of a warrior that was Darth Vulcanus. However, he wouldn't get there so easily.

Hayato had been inside a small shopfront on one of many streets close to the top of one of Utapau's many pits. There he had been waiting on the technician to return with the items he had requested him to repair, those mostly being datapads with some information about the way of crafting swords, when the attack had begun. The first indications he had were panicking people fleeing the streets. It was when he had felt the dark presence showing itself and it was when he had left for the source of this presence. On the way he had fought multiple squads of Graug as well as some form of flying ... 'things'.

When he finally reached the edge of the city, he quickly got on a speeder that had been abandoned by its owner and flew off, towards the sky and the source of all this evil. He was going directly for Vulcanus. He could feel the Dark Side focusing at one particular point. It was as if it was some sort of Dark Side beacon shining in the Force, calling him towards it so that it could take him into itself and make him into a servant of the Dark Side. However Hayato was a seasoned warrior and he had been confronted by the Dark Side many, many times. He wouldn't fall for it that easily. It would take much more than the presence a particularly strong Dark Sided individual or item.

Finally, after a couple minutes of flight, he got close enough to confirm what he felt, it was Vulcanus, but there was some other presence as well which he could only feel now that he was closer to the point of origin of the Dark Side presence. It was no longer obscuring and blending everything that wasn't it out. And after the speeder emerged from the pit, he could see the origin of both, the Dark Side and the other presence. Vulcanus and some figure were standing across each other, ready to start battling each other. Though Hayato wouldn't let that figure fight on his own, he would join forces with whoever it was to try and defeat the Dark Lord and save the people of Utapau.

As he came closer and closer, he decided to just ditch the speeder and let it be his first attack on the Dark Lord. He set the speeder to maximum speed, steered it so that it headed directly for the Dark Lord and a couple moments before it hit the towering Graug, he jumped off, drawing his blade in the process. However, instead of crashing into the man, the speeder went past him and crashed behind the man, creating more smoke in the process, obscuring him and Hayato from seeing each other. Hayato landed with one hand on the ground and the other holding the sword outward to his side. He stood up to full height and looked over to the man he had seen earlier, who, thankfully, wasn't obscured by the smoke. "Good day, stranger, I trust you're here to fight this vile beast? For if that were the case, I am pleased to report that you have just now gained an ally!" He said in an over-the top manner, a reflex he had built up over the years. A way of dealing with fears, anxiety or nervousness by injecting some humor into the situation.

The orchestra of baby screams rang through air like a symphony of fear and innocence. Parker grinned from ear to ear as he ascended the stairs more than a dozen Graug behind him their lumbering shadows stretching in front of them. "I want two of them alive, the boss upstairs needs one." While Parker and his feral comrades finished rounding the stairs and came up to the top they looked out into hallway to see that a few doctor type individuals had created a pathetic barrier to defend the nursery. There were only three of them behind it with cheap blaster rifles. Parker looked to five Graug and chuckled "You five, come with me. The rest of you go back downstairs and set this place to blow." With a snarl of rage one of the Graug that was not chosen to eat the flesh of the innocent lurched out at Parker. But before he could get a foot towards him the barrel of a pistol was lodged into face. "We'll grab you a doggy bag. Now get your asses down there and set it to blow."

The Graug agreed with Parker's persuasive argument and took the rest of the squad downstairs to join the other dozen of Graug who were feeding on and ravaging the corpses of the people downstairs. Stepping out into the light of the hallway Parker smiled his beer chest splattered with blood over his tattoos and robotic arm. "Hello, did I ever tell you two about order?" He said in a calm demeanor. The doctors eyes widened and one of them quickly discharged a round that missed Parker by miles. "GET AWAY!!" One of them screamed at the madman. "No I don't believe I have. You see order is nothing, and it's everything. There is nothing that dictates that order should exist. When you pour water into an ants mound thousands of those little guys come up in a swarm of chaos." Another round discharged and shot closer to Parker this time.

"But you see, every single ant has a job in that swarm. They all have a purpose and a task to complete. But no one tells them to do it, they aren't sentient or even capable of their own thought. Yet they just know, and that brings me to my next point. Even now as the metaphorical water is pouring on your craphole of city you all band together and organize. No one told you to do it yet you did, so where does that order come from?" The doctors fired two more rounds at Parker that were shockingly close, one grazing his pant leg. "Well the answer is simple. Order is a primal instinct, it's a need that we all share to not die alone or to help things be easier on us. And that's why I'm here, I'm here to disrupt order." Parker now a few feet from the barricade chuckled and looked down at the three doctors, two males and one female by the looks of the alien scum.

"And I'm afraid your days of order are done." Lifting his pistol he laughed and pulled the trigger emptying the clip into the three medical officials bellow him. With another chuckle Parker kicked aside their crappy barrier then strolled through them reaching the nursery. With a kick to door the breach gave in and it swung open to reveal the crying little ones. "Hello honeys, daddy's home." Parker lifted his head back and laughed wildly as the other five Graug appeared behind him with pleasant news that the charges had been set. Handing him a detonator Parker sighed happily and stepped inside the nursery.

The banging of war drums filled the air with the collectors, motivating the troops bellow to surge forth and kill all they could. Swarms of collector droids grabbed hundreds of innocent lives grabbing them and taking them back to the ship where they were stowed in the prison bellow. Having kidnapped at least over four hundred aliens from this planet the collectors rained down picking and plucking a few republic troopers that had fired on them. Grabbing two of them a collector picked up the woman by the ankle lifting her into the air before throwing her into a swarm of droids where she would be torn to shreds by their metal claws. It was strange though, the collector droids hummed past the other republic trooper that had not fired upon them, only collecting the last few people they may need to complete their quota.

A platoon of fifty Yuuzhan Vong warriors marched through the platforms of the put city slaughtering all they came across. Men, women, children. Every soul that did not belong to them or the Graug they took a primal pleasure in ending. Firing off their bio rifles into their targets they came across what looked to be the Jedi knight [member="Graxin Rade"] and his republic troopers. The men had been slaughtering graug by the looks of their dead bodies scattered about the floor. Beast like roars came from the throats of the Vong as they clanged their weapons against their black clad crab armor. The force dead warriors spread themselves out and began to engage the meager republic defense of less then two dozen men that had been split apart already. "BRING UP THE THUD BUG LAUNCHER!!" One of the Vong screamed to an underling.

Bringing up what looked like a living rocket launcher the Yuuzhan Vong steadied it and aimed before pulling the trigger and letting the force dead munition literally fly out. The giant beetle inside the canon spread it's wings and soared towards one of the republics make shift turret placements and with a loud thud and explosion a good three souls were taken from their families. A howl of delight roared again as the drums surged and became louder and louder filling the Yuuzhan Vong and Graug with more savage hunger to feed and kill. Soaring above head more collectors wailed as they weaved through blaster fire plucking up troopers and militia alike their numbers in the upper hundreds for this small swarm that split off from the main group. "KILL THEM ALL!!"

They fought a losing battle, that became clear quickly. For a moment, it seemed the tide was turning in the defenders favor. The Graug fell in droves; Republic soldiers knowing from past experience to keep a good distance between themselves and the monsters.

Then the Vong warriors came. The first sign of something being off was the sudden lack of the cannon emplacement at Graxin's right. Then he heard a scream, only to see one of the two dozen men who had accompanied him ripped apart by one of the Vong staff weapons.

The Knight grimaced, and drew on the force to rejuvenate his limbs. Then, he swept toward the Vong as they devastated his defenses. He fell into combat with a singular warrior, and it took more than a few strikes on the Vong's crab armor to send him down.

Another Vong cut a bloody gash through the leather of his robes and cut shallowly into his arm. Biting back a curse, Graxin lifted one of the emptied munitions crates with the force, and hurled it at his opponent, crushing his neck in the process.

The force he had arrive with was quickly dwindling. They gathered around a single building, cut off from the hundred strong group of militia already here. From that building, they lobbed grenades, concussion rounds, and set up the last two anti-personnel cannons that they had with them.

Graxin stood outside, dueling with those Vong that drew close. Each battle left him with wounds, but he continued to hold, a calm and precise wall against the tide of darkness looking to snuff out the last lights of Utapau. He fought with hope that the Republic would arrive soon, as he had called for a fleet action--that of course, would take time.

Shlurk roared his outrage as he charged through the adjacent building. The republic soldiers on either side of him flinched as he charged through the window. The glass shattered and bounced harmlessly off his skin just as he had planned. The force barrier held.

The massive Graug soared through the air, and slammed into the adjacent wall. He came through--on the first floor. He gave a murderous snarl in outrage. He should have come out on the second floor! Ahead, he heard something moving, and the familiar scent of his own kind filled his nostrils. That, and gore, lots of gore.

He took a moment to ready himself. The dark side flowed through his veins. What had been a faint ember when the battle began was now an all consuming inferno.

His black eyes were filled with a monstrous blood lust as he pulled his leather cowl back. Sharp, bloodied teeth jutted from his gaping maw as he roared a challenge. He was Graxin's informal apprentice, and the self-proclaimed embodiment of the dark side. The difference between him and the Sith was that he did not serve himself. His bloodlust was a righteous fury, rather than a simple desire to murder. The other Graug were now the target of that fury.

He bounded over the mass of shattered bodies into the main lobby. There, he made contact with two Graug. They had readied himself to his challenge, and engaged him eagerly.

His saber-staff hummed as it batted aside to blaster bolts, spun, and caught the closer of the two through the throat. Shlurk's victim gurgled a bloody curse, before the would-be Sith turned on his ally. He was too late to halt the blow.

The dead Graug's ally had produced a vibrosword of some kid, and drove it through Shlurk's leathers and into his forearm. Blood spurt from the fresh wound and trailed down his scaly arm.

With a savage roar, Shlurk slammed a massive foot into his opponent, knocking him off balance. He then proceeded to decapitate his foe with a cruel grin. Ignoring the shallow wound in his shoulder for now, he turned on the other approaching Graug.

With luck, the Republic soldiers would arrive soon.

Jaryn was readying himself to be struck first, however before the battle between the young master and [member="Darth Vulcanus"] could ensue, a speeder bike came flying past both combatants and littered the area with fire and shrapnel as a background for the battle, and soon an elderly Jedi arrived. At least, he seemed to be one. His force signature was a bright blinding white, however it circled the man slowly. He was old and withered with battle, Jaryn looked at the man for mere moments as this.....[member="Hayato"] began speaking, unmoved by the smoke and crashed speeder that had moments earlier caused Jaryn to step back instinctively.

Jaryn simply nodded, an ally. This was true, he had never seen this jedi before. But he was aware of a Hayato, he was in a book about Soresu or something. Such memories were from a time long past, and Jaryn was a changed man. Time had weathered this Hayato into what seemed to be an elderly man, likely in his late fifties. However, he doubted this would make him obsolete in combat.

-Hayato, I don't work well with team mates. This might get a little hectic, but we'll get through this. Together, I won't let you down-

Jaryn felt the need to state such things, he had only recently began to reach a high in his life when previously he had failed everyone he had ever known.
The young master stood firm with both sabers ignited in hand now, one red and one blue. He was ready to fight alongside this man, as he trusted that the force would guide them to victory.

The force had forced him to become a sharpened tool for battle and now, put its agent to the test. Jaryn could feel them all, the people.
The terror in a mothers eyes as she cradles her child, the shaking doctors as they protect the innocent children, the men and women of the republic that were risking their lives to try and help. Jaryn could feel it all, this made him more determined than ever. He would stop this sith lord, and he would crush the vong here and now whilst they were weak. It was the only way of stopping any other worlds from coming under the threat of a united sith/vong crusade.

And Hayato and Jaryn would do just that. They would slay the trynacial sith lord and his vong host.
This party's over.

A beating laugh, one that shook the air like a percussion of a drum line. The Dark Lord of the Sith found it laughable that such ones as this would dare stand to challenge him. "So be it...Jedi dogs" The Dark Lord spat, a clawed hand violently sweeping through the air and in the direction of his two opponents. A burning orb shot towards the two, searing the air as it crossed the distance between them like a rocket. The searing ball of energy soared until it came within just an arms reach of the Sith's opponents and then exploded outward into a devastating flurry of fire and kinetic energy.

"Die!" was all the Dark Lord howled before following up his attack with a belch of dragon's breath, its searing effects aimed to burn Jaryn to ash.

Jaryn retained his focus as the battle began, instead of attempting to deflect or parry the sith's swipe. Jaryn outstretched both arms and held his sabers out horizontally as he bent down, pulling his chest down towards his legs until he nearly reached the ground. Completely dodging the blow by mere seconds, however this allowed the young master to leap back to a firm standing position. However, as soon as this action was carried out a powerful orb of force energy starting coming his way. Jaryn brought the entire right side of his body backwards in a side step and slapped his saber back into its holster and brought around his fist forward and his body to deliver a powerful force punch that would either cause the ord to explode in mid journey or reflect it back to its Master, either way it was out of control now.

However, this was followed by a great stream of fire to escape [member="Darth Vulcanus"]' gut. Jaryn allowed a gush of force wind to come between the two combatants as he momentarily leaped into the air, and was thrown back into a semi-crouch position. This sith's attacks were fierce!

Now it was Jaryn's turn, he moved and brought his entire body down to the left in a diagonal swipe with his lightsaber towards Vulcanus' lower torso. He held the blade in both hands, however Jaryn's movements were smooth and firm instead of staggering. However, Jaryn allowed his movements to be augmented through the force which allowed the attack to retain the speed but deliver a powerful blow. However, Jaryn was certain it was unable to even cause the sith to stumble. Jaryn was testing the water as they say.

Jaryn knew Vulcanus towered over him
