He Was A Boy, She Was A Girl, Can I Make It Anymore Obvious

Dressed simply in a shirt and jeans, a style that seemed popular among girls her age on the planet. She looked like just another teenager, but there was on significant difference with Anwen. Her Force aura was like a beacon, one she could not hide, and it signaled to all those around that she was a child of the Light. Seated upon a bench she watched the other kids and teenagers milling around the park, her sapphire orbs moving from one group to the next as she studied each in turn.

She was not accustomed to this type of setting and she did not understand what many of them were doing. So she sat there, upon a duracrete slab, watching those around her.

This place felt foreign. His clothes felt foreign. Yet, he was right next to his home. Cobalt irises swirled around as he dreamily surveyed the park in the Temple district. It was a crisp, autumn afternoon, a light breeze wafted through the red-orange trees. Dozens of children, teenagers, and adults milled about the serene park. Many were merely walking around, talking to friends with bright smiles upon their faces. Children ran about, their adolescent squeals of joy breaking across the park. The scene made the ends of Ronnie's lips curve upwards into a grin, his nostrils flaring as he sucked in a deep intake of the sweet, fall air.

Ronnie sat alone, his figure swathed in normal clothes. It felt clingy, but it was otherwise comfortable. He wore a simple beige tunic, a dark brown belt wrapped around his waist with slightly lighter trousers covering his bottom half. His black boots were comfortable as well, mainly from being worn in during his relentless days of training. His grin softened slightly as he tapped his boots against the ground, his eyes smoothly transitioning across the landscape. The Padawan's blue eyes lingered on a strangely dressed girl upon a slab of some material. She looked lonely.

Still, the young man kept his seat in the bench and let his eyes wander once again.

As she studied the children, teenagers, and adults milling about the immediate area a ball suddenly came flying toward her. Had she been a normal girl or normal lineage the ball would have struck her dead in the face, likely causing her to fall backward and off of the duracrete slab she sat upon. However, Anwen was far from normal. With impossibly fast reflexes she caught the ball a mere half an inch from her face. Those around that had seen what was about to transpire gasped as she caught the ball with speed only the daughter of Darth Moridin would possess, her reflexes stunning everyone watching her.

Unaware or either unconcerned about the eyes upon her, Anwen turned the ball over in her small hands as she studied it. She understood that the ball was a toy, but that was all she knew about the item. As she studied the ball, she was pulled from her inspection as someone cleared their throat before her. Lowering the ball sapphire orbs studied the group of three teenage boys standing before her, all of which looked ashamed and amazed at the same time.

They stuttered our various apologies while asking for their ball back, but none of them asked her to join their game as she had secretly hoped. Slowly, reluctantly, she returned the ball to the boys and watched as they departed, hurriedly moving farther away from her. Perplexed by their behavior and seeming to notice the eyes still upon her she tilted her head to the side a bit, her brow furrowed in thought as she puzzled over what she had done wrong.

Ronnie was up on his feet in an instant. The popping sound of a pro-grade kick rang out as schoolboys ooohed and aaahed as the soccer ball whizzed through the air. The Padawan's eyes weren't admiring the skill of the kick, rather where it would land. The girl that he'd spotted earlier was directly at the end of the ball's projectory With teeth gritting, he surged out with the Force to alter its path or slow it down. Kark. I'm too slow! His outstretched arm was barely enough to nudge the ball slightly to the side before landing into the hand of the girl.

The Padawan came to a halt, his brows furrowed at the girl who know held the ball in her hand. A group of child stood before her, wide eyed as well, and waited anxiously for the girl to hand over their ball. Ronnie nervously grinned as she reached down to hand the children their ball, making note of her hesitant movements. A breeze shot through the trees, ruffling his tunic and giving the children yet another excuse to move away from the girl. As the kids began their migration, Ronnie waited a moment before walking over to sit upon the slab next to the girl.

"Is your hand okay?" He inquired, a genuinely caring look in his eyes.

Bright eyes turned upon the boy that joined her upon the slab as her head tilted to the side a bit. She studied him for a moment before a smile easily found its way to her lips. Brushing her bangs from her face she looked away and back toward the children at play, nodding. "I am fine." Flexing the hand that had caught the ball a few times she placed it back in her lap and continued to watch those around them, glancing at the boy every now and again.

After a moment she turned back to him, a soft smile upon her lips. "Thank you for asking...I think I startled everyone else with my action."
