I quite liked Hayden's portrayal of Anakin, and as mentioned before the use of his facial expressions to convey his character's emotions and feelings, a good actor in that perspective.

I used to have the biggest crush on Hayden as a kid xD I was such a Star Wars nerd back then, and omg he was Anakin and Anakin became Vader and... well, yeah. As much as I despise the love story, the films weren't that bad - in fact AotC has some sweet scenes!
