SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Modular Main Turret - The Scythe features several different primary turret mounts that all interface with the same basic control and combat suite. While swapping turrets out is no swift or easy task (it requires quite a bit of extra equipment and personnel, and takes time) it does provide a certain strategic versatility.
  • Active Protection System - It has one, it works well. Makes it even tougher. It's not perfect, but it helps.
MISC EQUIPMENT
  • Standard Countermeasure Suite– The Scythe features a standard set of flares, chaff, ECM and ECCM for protection against hostile targeting and weaponry.
  • Heavy Deflector Shield Generator – That first layer or protection.
  • Encrypted Communication System - Includes standard battlefield comms and tactical and battlefield datalinks.
  • Combat Scanners and Advanced Targeting Suite - Contains your standard TAT, BAC and TIN, plus a variety of other advanced systems to make the Scythe lethal at range and up close. Specifically includes aural and sonic sensors to help compensate for blind spot.
  • Fully Sealed Environment System - For hostile climate operation, whether that be a Zero-G planet or a battlefield where chemical weapon use is anticipated or active.
  • Ionic Defense Suite - Including Cap Drains, Anti-Ion Mesh, and standard EMP reinforcement. A repulsorcraft without power is a formerly floating brick, after all.
Strengths:
  • The Anvil- The Scythe is designed as essentially a hovering version of the venerable AT-AT, a technique that fixes many of the issues with the old walker. With heavy carbon-durasteel armor plating and a heavy shield generator, plus numerous light weapon turrets and a built-in Active Protection System, the Scythe is an incredibly durable hovertank.
  • Maximum Firepower - It's the chin guns of an AT-AT on a tank. But it's 800 years later so the onboard power plant is even better so the guns are actually more powerful. In all fairness, it's a really big tank.
Weaknesses:
  • Hulking Target- The Scythe is a big tank, and is not terribly fast, making it a popular target on battlefields.
  • Repulsor Vulnerability - Despite everything, the Scythe is still a repulsor vehicle and thus vulnerable in the classic ways those are. Disabling repulsors will also inevitably send the tank crashing to he ground, immobilizing it in the best case.
Description:
is big tank take hits better than little tank make things go boom
make very tough without beskar or mando wankery

A10a - Turret is a pair of heavy laser cannons with higher power per shot than the chin laser cannons on an AT-AT. Capable of the same one-two punch ability, this is the standard turret on a Scythe tank, and is a rapid fire, high damage weapon capable of pulverizing most other armored vehicles and dealing significant damage to other heavy walkers and hardened structures.
A10b - A large caliber railcannon which fires large solid slugs. The sheer velocities involved give an impact equivalent to charged artillery shells and have a kill radius of around 140m. Alternatively the gun can be used in a direct fire mode, with exceptional armor piercing capability, but a very low rate of fire.
A-10c - Typically used as a long-range anti-armor barrage weapon, as the First Order has better dedicated Anti-Air missiles. The A-10c can theoretically eliminate entire armored squadrons of enemy vehicles from long range. Needs to be supported by other vehicles for reloads, however. Can also be used as MLRS artillery or loaded with concussion missiles for an AA role.
A-10d - Sometimes big Ion Cannons suit your need more than anything else.
A-10e - Gun AA has a charm all its own. This one is really, really good at it. Also great at turning infantry in the open into red mist.
