The Haven-Class Transport Frigate is designed to transport large amounts of people and nothing more. While it can ferry soldiers, its main intention is to evacuate larger numbers civilians from hostile situations. The Frigate is designed to be fairly light in order to boost speed, and as such only has basic shielding and no guns or offensive weaponry. This ship is not intended to be a permanent solution for evacuees, only to serve as an evacuation route. As such, it holds a stock of food and water that would last for roughly a week at maximum capacity. The ship itself can hold 4,500 human sized passengers (number could increase or decrease depending on size of species) including crew. Basic medical supplies are also included, though only enough to treat minor injuries.
