Hath found me the Jedi, I'll try not to die

@[member="Aronis Vilgar"]

Triam Akovin flew a damaged ship to the ports of Onderon, having a bit of loot from the Roche Asteroids. She met a Mandalorian there and got phrikite ore on her hands, and she intended to make a snazzy set of armor soon. She made it out alive eventually but her plastic republic armor helped very little against the attack of the droids. Phrikite though was merely an ore, it wasn't a finished product with tydirium and she didn't have a forge; thus she would need to buy the appropriate equipment, and she thought she knew just the guy, her cousin Altoon.

So she still had her battle scared armor traveling to Onderon, sticking out like a sore thumb. Though she doubted there was any kind of bounty on her after going A.W.O.L. from the Republic military, it was probably a good idea to stay away from any kind of military bases. Returning to Republic space probably wasn't her best idea... but walking around in her armor in plain view was just, well... dumb. Once again it seemed she wasn't thinking too hard, just one of many cases.

She looked around for any sign of her cousin she had contacted earlier. He wasn't a criminal by any means, and wasn't too happy to hear from her either. She was at the place she had told him to go, and she really hoped he didn't set her up for some kind of trap; that would certainly mean for her armors completion, a major barrier. After facing off with countless droids, the thought of Onderonian police, almost made her want a breather.

She wandered about, causing a bit of a commotion. She gripped her pistols for what little of the feeling she had of safety and comfort. She doubted her cousin trusted her, and when she spotted something unusual, the best course of action was immediately motion. If she didn't keep moving, it was quite likely someone was going to get hurt.

((OOC: Your post is kind of confusing :p))

Aronis had been sent to Onderon to help the planetary police force for a few weeks. Their had been trouble with gangs and his master had thought it a good idea that he help the police to get a feel for law enforcement. He sat at a desk in the police headquarters, doing nothing. He was supposed to be researching something, but he couldn't care less about desk work. Looking over the files he found a notice from an anonymous informant. He looked over it, apparently an ex-republic trooper had arrived in Onderon today to do some 'shady' business deals. The informant had apparently been paid an undisclosed sum of money for this info. Taking a couple of the pictures of this AWOL trooper, he headed downstairs.

He walked out in to the street glancing both ways, before crossingntue street and heading downtown. After much hassle with the sgt. he had been given permission to assist the officers on the mission. He picked up his pace not wanting to be late for his rendezvous with the officers. He glaned at the pictures again, memorizing her face.

((OOC: Sorry about that, I have to rhyme. I'm not usually the clearest writer anyway, so the achievement does little to help. It takes up an awful lot of time. Some times I wonder about the taste of kelp.)))

Walk casually, turn around, leave the area, and for force sake hide your gun! Officers, several of them she could spot out here and there, attempting to blend in, but she knew the drill. These were not the games of fun. This was going to be difficult and full of fear, not thrill. That is, if she was caught, she would be done. Stop and think, she told herself, You battle through ranks of droids to get a tiny bag of Phrikite, and you come here thinking you can leave here without your prize because a group of officers makes you ill?

She shook her head in disappointment with herself, and when she turned back she accidentally bumped into an officer. He startled her and she looked up with wide eyes, but relief washed over her when it appeared he didn't seem to recognize her just yet. "Sorry Ma'am, make sure you're looking where you're going before you take a step, otherwise you might start an unwanted violent spur." He chided her, that only made her more in fret.

She was about to speak, but then her fears were realized, he looked closer to her, looking her in the eyes. "Say you look strange for a citizen, must be from off-world... you know you look kinda familiar-" At that moment the officer probably dies. An officer down in a moment of desperate fear, she runs with the crowd as quickly as she can, hiding her smoking gun, with her eyes watching for more officers... flushed, frustrated, and angry looking ones in particular.

She didn't want to kill him, but it was all the heat of the moment, he just got a little too close. Her hand rested on her blaster while fate would have her trouble the innocent, to discover guilty, it was only natural she pulled the trigger in fear. If justice was medicine, she was sure now she'd get an extra dose. A fugitive then, a fugitive now, she'd be caught and dead by the end of the year.

Aronis heard a gunshot nearby. He immediately called on the Force, launching himself onto a roof to get a better view. He saw the officer, shot in the chest, most likely dead. But he motioned for nearby police to check on him anyways. Normally he would've helped the wounded, but seeing that he was most likely dead. Aronis was going after the thief. He scanned the crowd looking for signs of the murderer, using the Force to sense their emotions. A short ways away he saw someone hurrying away from the incident.

Jumping down into the street, Aronis quickly ran in that direction, using the Force to boost his speed. He was closing the distance, his right hand rested on the familiar hilt of his lightsaber as he took it into hand. He could sense their anxiety, their fear. Running would do them no good, they would have to turn and fight.

Damn, why did she run? Someone was tailing her, and it didn't look good, he wasn't in Uniform but in robes, that indicated a very unusual person or a Jedi. She couldn't face a Jedi, there was no chance she could win... none. But Jedi weren't Sith, that was for sure, Jedi are merciful, they arrest not kill, through this she knew it was likely she would not die.

She didn't want to die, but she didn't want to go to prison either, a place she is destined to go by the conclusion of this duel. It was obvious he was after her, and she had only one option... defend herself. She turned to her opponent and in the heat of imminent combat disregarded her morality using adrenaline as fuel. This was going to be difficult, but in a crowd like this it was likely that in the skirmish civilians could become a causality, thus her only option was to force murder on the Jedi to shame himself.

She knew that if she fired on the Jedi not only could he deflect her blaster bolts, she might get a return volley from other officers close behind. She needed cover, and she needed quick in just a few moments. If she was late the Jedi could pull something and then she'd be dead. She pulled her blaster out and pointed it back, firing with a haphazard aim towards the Jedi, and just as quickly turned a corner hoping to escape this bind. She dropped a detonator through the corner to distract the Jedi, get the crowd running in pandemonium, and to stay ahead.

Aronis was worried that the assailant might try to fight in the crowd. The worst case scenario for him. He drew his saber deflecting the bolts into the sky, attempting to avoid any injuries to the crowd. He ran towards the corner trying to get to her, then jumped back, Force pushing a few members of the crowd out of the way. The people ran wildly in chaos upon seeing the grenade. It went off shaking the area, luckily all but two people had gotten out of the way and they only had minor injuries.

A minute later, Aronis ran around the corner into the alley, saber activated. Prepared to face the criminal.

She couldn't shake him, and that lightsaber didn't look like a pleasant thing to deal with. At least he hadn't whipped out a can of the force yet, but for all she knew this guy could just be a padawan for all she knew. She turned with her blaster ready, and she knew for certain that Jedi blocking blaster bolts was no myth. This information though, wasn't new.

"Stay away from me! It was an accident!" She yelled her plea. She knew though she was merely saying these things to comfort herself, she was petty claimant.

She was backed into a corner, with no where else to run or hide. Her blaster raised she tried to make a plan, letting her adrenaline take control. If she said she wasn't scared, she'd have lied. She was a cat up a poll.

"Surrender and no harm will come to you." Aronis replied.

Aronis lowerednhis saber just a little as a sign of peace, but he would still be able to defend himself, if she shot. She seemed nervous and freaked out, part of him felt bad for her. But he could not let her go free, unfortunately. She had broken Republic law and woukd be brought to justice. He glared at her, waiting for her to surrender, run, or fight.

"I'll go to karkin' jail! 'No harm done', yea right! How about you try it first so I can bail." She tried to say with confidence, but it was obvious where this was going to be a fight. She had the sneaking suspicion that there was no way out, that this was the end of the line here on Onderon, that she'd fail. She knew she probably felt this because the murder and the chase had caused her to make a helpless plight. She prepared her body for the face off, not sure what she'd do, you know, other than helplessly flail. One thing was for certain, it was going to be one heck of a night.

She quickly dropped her gun down and fired at his feet. Boom, boom, boom, she took out her last grenade and held it up with a fist. If either of them made it out alive in one piece it would be neat. Hopefully, neither of them would be missed.

Aronis flipped backwards as the bullets flew at his feet. He watched in horror as she pulled out the grenade, would she really do this? What would she gain from their deaths? What would anyone, well maybe the Sith, but that's beside the point. He blasted a Force Push at her, hopefully pinning her to the wall. Then threw his saber at her arm, attempting to severe it. The throw was a tad wobbly, but was still on the mark. He cringed the moment he threw it, knowing the outcome, and wishing against it.

((OOC: Hope that's what you wanted, I can edit if it's wrong))

Her back hit the wall as she attempted to chuck the grenade at the Jedi, and immediately the wind was knocked out of her. She gasped as she saw the horrifying image of the glowing blade of the lightsaber swinging towards her; in her mind she could feel its fiery embrace. Her eyes widened in terror, as she tried harder to throw the thing in her hand, but the flash of light was too quickly, the blade embedded itself into the wall in a blur. Her heart stopped, before finally starting to rapidly race. She heard her grenade drop, along with some sickly other sound, her hand was all that she could infer. She still held her blaster in her hand from before, but it now began to drop while the rest of her body trembled, her severed hand still quavering in the air in the shock of the events rapid pace.

Her head turned suddenly to her hand, as she brought its charred stump to her chest, clasping it within her other hand. A gigantic, stuttering, wicked sob escaped her gasping mouth, searching for air. She rocked back and forth, just gasping, trying to understand. That's when the scream started, first stuttered and low, but then progressively more pathetic with the pain she had to bare. Tears streaked her face, as she fell over on to her side, unable to speak at all while she sobbed and screamed to the pain she couldn't withstand. All she could do while in this state, between screams and sobs when her eyes were open, with all the contempt she had built up in the last few moments towards the Jedi who took her hand, was to Glare.

Aronis deactivated his saber the moment he caught it. He had acted on impulse, without thinking. It seemed like the right thing to do at the time. As she cried out in pain, it immediately alerted the nearby law enforcement officers. Two came running into the alleyway, blasters drawn, only to see her sitting there, hand severed. They stood motionless, not knowing what to do with her. Aronis felt pangs of guilt as she glared at him. The officers finally walked over to her, they would see about medical care, then potentially take her to prison, where she would await trial.
