DESCRIPTION

The Hassion-class starfighter is a capable multirole vessel designed to form the backbone of any air wing.

In function and purpose it is effectively equivalent to modern variants of the X-wing, performing similarly across the majority of their mission profiles. Indeed, the Hassion is partially inspired by the widespread success of the X-wing blended with native Caragachi design.

Though at first glance a radical departure from AISI’s earlier, TIE-inspired starfighter designs, the Hassion retains a variety of legacy features. Chief among them are a pair of twin ion engines that provide propulsion to the Hassion, which are nearly identical to those outfitted by the earlier TIE Howler. Additionally, there is a great deal of interchangeability between the parts in the Hassion and those of older AISI starfighter models. Consequently, pilots who have flown AISI’s TIE lineup can find themselves flying a Hassion with little hassle.
