Hapan Homecoming

The 2-1B surgical droid said, "I can't tell you what Dr. Temi likes but he often researches genetic engineering, reprogenetic technologies and plasmids as well as DNA sequences and viral vectors. Was that what you were looking for?" The droid cocked its metallic head not having an understanding of the Hapan doctor's favorite things besides research topics since he used the droid to help him with computations.

When Armand felt that Braha was stable enough he left Verd to watch over his friend and finally found Leilani sitting in his office at his desk. "There you are!" he said relieved.
Poor thing, she probably got bored lying around the examination room. "I don't really like that you're already up and around but if you feel good enough to walk, I suppose it's fine," he said shrugging. Armand removed his white lab coat and drew on a long jacket from a coat hook in the room. "Where are you staying, my dear? I would like to accompany you there... to make sure you get to where you're going okay." He adjusted the lapels of his jacket and added, "And once you're safe and sound, I will find you some Naboo Night Pearls. I have an idea where I can find them in Chume Dan."

He smiled and held out his arm for her to hold onto if she needed help getting up.

Verd was grateful that [member="Armand Temi"] had stayed with him and his friend till he was stable enough to ride the tranquilizer out. he had been instructed to give gradually decreasing doses of adrenaline every few hours until his friend's heartbeat did not need to be boosted in order to maintain a constant pulse. He had thanked Temi and watched as he left the room knowing that he had a real friend here. He thought of the advantages of having a doctor that owned a medical clinic, being in the rebel alliance and all. he now just had to wait until Braha woke up.

She nodded and listened, "no. Tea or stimcaf. Classical or jazz. " She was disappointed but she did not get in trouble. She stared at the screen now when Armand entered she smiled, "yes and I tried to be slick and see if your computer would reveal your favourite things"

He was genuinely concerned she felt it, "Don't worry Armand" she used his first name, "there was so much going on I just well decided to move" She did not lie but she had not been truthful. He moved taking off his coat, oh he was ready to leave.

She stood up taking his arm, leaning over she kissed his cheek, "you don't need to do that. They are rare and expensive. Unless you let me pay you for them." Dark eyes looked at him through dark lashes as she smiled.

Her fingers rubbed him forearm through his coat. He would walk her home, "a couple of streets over a nice little hotel called The Rivers Edge. Nice airy rooms with big beds soft linens. Will you have dinner with me tonight?"

She would be sure to keep him on her good side, and do what was necessary to see to his contentment.

Armand had no reason at all to suspect Leilani was anything other than a patient. Hapes was a peaceful planet under Republic rule. Residents left their doors unlocked and crime was nearly non-existent at least near Fountain Palace. And while patients normally didn't poke around his office, he thought nothing of the fact that the pretty Zeltron had been there with access to all of his data.

He led her into the waiting room and told Aerona to close the clinic for the day. "Wait here," he instructed Leilani. "I just need to say goodbye to Prudii." He entered the room where Verd and his Braha were and said: "I'm heading out for a bit. Page me if I need to come back here, but I think your friend should recover just fine."

Then he left his clinic with the Zeltron on his arm. "I would love to have dinner with you," he said answering her question. "But I really know nothing about you but the fact that you have a bruise on your leg and you like pearls. What do you do for a living?" He assumed she was single because otherwise she wouldn't have kissed him in the examination room but he didn't actually know her business on the planet other than jewelry shopping.

"Will do friend." He said knowing what he meant. "Have fun, and be nice to the lucky lady." He winked. He shouldn't need [member="Armand Temi"]'s assistance any more, he still had all of the supplies he needed out to take care of his friend. Braha might be out for a few days still, but He would live, and Verd was grateful for Armand's assistance. "Now go take her somewhere nice!" He said throwing him a credit chip. "First drinks are on me." Smiling he turned his attention back to Braha's heart rate monitors.

Leilani watched him to back to say goodbye, considerate she thought. But then a doctor would have to be considerate, wouldn' t he? Was he always though? Did this kindness extend beyond the walls of the office. She smiled dismissing her thoughts for the moment as he returned to her.

Pleased that he would have dinner with her on a moments notice filled her with pleasure. She put her hand on top of his, giving it a gentle squeeze. What does she do for a living? She hesitated for a moment looking down, then back up, "Right now not very much except traveling and shopping here and there. I." She paused. "As a zeltron I'm often asked to be escort, companion to those that need a last minute date" She was not a prostitute she was well kept, slept only with those she chose to, and she would not at this time reveal to him that she helped a criminal organization get items of interest to them.

No. She would not do that right now.

"I'm sorry that it is not as glamorous as a doctor, or even as upstanding as one. I will understand if you choose not to have dinner with me now" She gave him a half smile, showing her discomfort at half revealing what she did.

Armand considered what the Zeltron said and his face was difficult to read. The fact that Leilani was a companion didn't surprise him as many of her species made their living this way. With their pheromones and telepathy quite a few Zeltrons across the galaxy would turn their beauty into a business. But aside from a pang of jealousy when he thought about her with another man, Armand was a pretty open minded individual.

He nodded his head at her. "Of course I'll have dinner with you. Leilani, aside from my prying question, what you do for a living is your business." He could sense that she was uncomfortable and tried to say this warmly to make her feel more at ease. The Hapan doctor walked arm in arm with her and added, "In fact, I have a gala coming up and my date actually cancelled on me. Would you like to go with me? It will be a dress-up affair full of pompous dignitaries. Completely boring I assure you so like you, I would understand if you choose not to accompany me," he joked.

[member="Armand Temi"]
At that moment she lightly leaned against him and projected comfort, welcome, and happiness. Colors of warm orange, seas of endless saffron, and muted rose all meant to show the Hapan how she felt. The zeltron raised by parents under an Imperial obligation knew little about this kind of acceptance. All in her life had want of something that made her life choices not truly her own but what was needed and done.

"I am pleased that you will have dinner with me there are some dishes which I think will be most pleasant to try. She smiled again his reversing the situation on her with the invitation to a grand gala, even if it was because his chosen had cancelled. It was very close to what she did anyhow, the last minute stand in for a dignitary. She held his arm gently lightly. I would be delighted to go with you and pompous dignitaries are my specialty. She laughed a bit. I will see to it that you are not bored Armand. She gave him a sidelong glance.

I had long heard about the beauty of Hapes but I must say that reports are not completely accurate. Were you born on a planet within the Consortium?

"Much obliged," Armand said when Leilani offered to be his date for the Duchess of Avidon's Gala. Her pheromones were affecting him now like a heady wine. He hadn't actually spent much time with the species and but her traits - either the pheromones or the telepathy or both - were all quite fascinating. He felt at ease, almost as though he were a better, newer, more capable version of himself when he was around her. The scientist in him longed to study it further but instead he focused on small talk.

"You know I still get invited to those types of noble events because of my parent's standing on Hapes. To answer your question, I was born on Hapes and my mother is T'ga is a minor politician here in Fountain Palace. They don't live too far from here... my parents..." he trailed off and looked at a point in the distance, a sign that he didn't want to go further with that train of thought.

"Here we are at the River's Edge. Is that where you wanted to have dinner? I do know they have a very good chef."

[member="Leilani Paaie"]

Politics the source of Hapan pride, she did not shake her head as she was thinking it could appear rude. What did she sense in him when he mentioned his parents? She wanted to ask but did not. It was a question left for later.

"Yes Armand I would like to eat here. Would you prefer the dining room, or the privacy of the balcony of my suite?" Alone they could both relax though he seemed quite relaxed the way he walked seemed less of purpose and more of confidence. Her hand still on his arm she slid her hand down his arm to the back of his hand once again. So lightly the tips of her fingers brushed the back of his hand.

She knew this would cause a sensation up his arm to the nape of his neck. she smiled as her finger glided down taking his fingers into her hand.

[member="Armand Temi"]

Armand took the Zeltron’s hand gratefully. If she kept doing what she was doing with her fingertips on his skin, he was afraid he that he wouldn’t allow them to make it to dinner without a pass at the bedroom first. Food was becoming a fleeting, unwanted proposition in his mind.

Armand raised his eyebrows at Leilani as if she had given him a choice in the matter at all on where to eat. “Your balcony sounds like a much better option,” he said. “I’ve had enough of other people today, haven’t you?”

The young doctor guided her into the hotel entrance and found the turbolift. As he stood with Leilani, his heart began to beat faster. He was looking forward to privacy with the beautiful near-human and relaxing after the trying day they both had at The Fountain of Youth Clinic. Dr. Temi was familiar with the hotel. The room would be lush and inviting with hopefully a glittering view of the seven moons of Hapes. With little darkness ever on the planet, he knew there would be thick curtains to block out any light if they so desired.

[member="Leilani Paaie"]

I have had enough of people for today she kept his hand within hers as she led him toward the lift that would take them to her rooms. In the lift she turned his hand over she took a single finger and starting at his thumb she lightly trailed from the tip of his thumb down to the curve of his palm to the tip of his forefinger and down crossing his palm and contined up and down each finger crossing his palm each time. The sensation would grow even as she looked up at him from under her long dark lashes, till the lift stopped and they stepped out into the hall, and then with the wave of a key into her rooms.

The bedroom was just beyond the sitting room a small fire burned brightly, Leilani turned to Armand. "a bottle of wine with dinner?" She gave him a little seductive smile pheromones rolled off her in private she was all zeltron. Let me take your coat and fix you a drink, do you have a preference? She moved with a slight hesitation as she walked she stopped to take off her shoes and sighed in relief, I would like to change would you mind if I did? She looked at him still with her dark eyes seeking his comfort and her own.

The window from the bedroom will look upon the night sky, and the view from the balcony should be quite wonderful. She had to remember hapans did not show many emotions to anyone outside of their families to have gotten Armand to come with her showed her that he had a great interest, and the invite showed just how much interest he had.

When Armand and Leilani entered the room he had the urge to throw her right on the bed, close the canopy curtains and stay there until the Hapan sun came up and replaced the seven moons that they would see from their window tonight. But he wanted to be a gentleman since he didn't actually know her too well. Not a barbarian. Well, he could be a barbarian but when the time was right.

Instead he handed over his coat and said, "I prefer wine or whiskey." He watched her relax, knowing she may be still slightly bruised from the speeder accident. "Why don't I wait on you, Leilani," he offered. "It's been a long day and as your doctor I can only insist that you rest."

As she went to get dressed he perused the room, looking for a music player. He found one and turned it to a jizz-wail station. Then he sat in an over-sized chair, stretched by the fire and waited for her to return.

[member="Leilani Paaie"]

Leilani went in to find something comfortable that allowed her movement and reflected sensuality. She came out in a a gown of sheer shimmering pink that matched her skin color. Each time she moved it moved with her flowing about her, "Whiskey it is" She crossed to the bar and brought out a bottle of menkooro and poured two fingers into the glass for him, and one for herself.

She glided over to where Armand was sitting extending her hand with his glass, I know that many Hapans suffer night blindness, do you? Are you uncomfortable I can make changes to the lighting if you are' She swept the gown beneath her and sat down in front of the fire she turned looking into it.

I don't know why but I've always loved a fire, even though I am not cold. The fire played with hints of light on her hair, and the gown she wore sparkled under the light. You had asked to know a little more about me, I should tell you I was raised to be an imperial. My parents were....conditioned so. I was lucky I got out before they turned me into one of the mindless.

She took a sip of her drink, Do you see many zeltrons here in the Consortium?

[member="Armand Temi"]

Armand watched Leilani in her pink gown and he basically had to sit on his hands so he didn't do anything too forward to the beautiful Zeltron.

"The lighting is fine," he responded, impressed that she understood a weakness of his. He listened politely to her and finally he had had enough talking.

Without answering her about the Consortium, he crawled down on hands and knees to her. Armand gently took her face into his hands and kissed her deeply. He had been waiting to do that for hours and now the kiss felt like a starship coming into port. He bent her at the waist and placed his lips right onto her exposed collarbone. His hands wandered her curves, not holding back anymore. He would take Leilani by the warm fire and consummate the desire that had been building for hours.

She turned to look up at him he had it seemed had enough, she carefully set the glass down as he moved to his hands and knees coming towards her. She had started to say something as he was before his hands cupped her face a single breath and his lips pressed against hers.

She purred softly as he trailed kisses along her collarbone. What happen before the fire would burn a memory into both their minds.

--

Sometime during the night they had retreated into the bedroom, Leilani looked over Armand still slept. His breathing deep and even and here she could look at him. The sensual curve of his lips, the way his hair curved under his ears, yes he was lovely to look at. But. what did not come across in his looks was the gentleness he had though his demand during their evening had been unexpected but welcome.

She began to think of breakfast. She was hungry.

Sleep was a welcome reward for their bedroom free-for-all. Armand had made sure that he had thoroughly satisfied the enchanting Zeltron, of course paying attention to the injuries he had treated earlier. As her doctor and now her lover for a night, he had investigated most if not all of Leilani's pink skin and delicate curves. And she didn't disappoint him either. At least in his mind, before the night was over, they were in perfect physical harmony as two could be.

In the morning, he wrapped a long arm around her body as she slept. He didn't want to wake her but he gently kissed the back of her neck. With a finger he traced the curvature of her spine. Her skin was warm and inviting. He felt it akin to his station on the matriarchal Hapan society - he was a mere suppliant to her charms. But unlike his station, there was no resentment or frustration in this solicitation, he thought. He would gladly serve her whims and desires, without the need for any repayment.

But despite her physical attributes which he assuredly could spend hours with, he did begin to wonder more about her life outside the four walls of the hotel bedroom. How she moved among society? What she did in her spare time? And most of all, would she want to continue spending her time with him?

He nuzzled into her back, seeking the warmth of hot skin and continued to rest, breathing softly into her neck.

She was warm from her neck to the ankles of her feet, Armand was nuzzling her she snuggled backwards reach up for his hand to pull it around her. She exhaled a bit harder than she intended, sleep had beckoned.

Her fingers traced along his hands, she did not wonder all the things that he did. She wondered if he knew would he still have been so gentle? His breathing had changed she knew he was awake. She said nothing, she enjoyed the feeling of his body pressed against hers.

She hesitated but wanted to see her face she moved and slid onto her back looking into his face, his hair darted in all directions, she imagined her own looked the same. "Good Morning Armand"

"Good morning indeed," he said, stealing a quick kiss of her soft neck. Between the frantic day they had before with the Zeltron's accident, his sister and his Mando friend coming in to make demands and the Royal Guard visiting his clinic, it felt good to hide away from the Hapan streets. "I hope you don't have anything going on today because I plan on staying right here. Aerona and my droid can deal with any of the less complicated procedures today." He turned and fluffed up the pillows so he could sit up. He leaned on his elbow and gazed down at Leilani who looked even more beautiful this morning with her rumpled hair and smeared makeup. Women don't realize how attractive even the imperfections can be, he thought. It was something he struggled with every day at his clinic. Hapans and humans alike trying to perfect their appearance with the latest treatments and salves. He shook his head - while the doctor would make his living on this, he still didn't quite understand it.

"I want to know more about you, Leilani. I mean, whatever you feel comfortable telling me. About what you do..."

He trailed off. He didn't want to pry but he was curious about her standing as a companion, what type of clients she had and if there was anything sinister about it. The charming Zeltron didn't strike him as a truly evil being, perhaps more mischievous than anything. Did she owe him answers? Probably not, but he inquired just the same.

[member="Leilani Paaie"]

She moved to where she could sit up, he was leaning on the pillows looking very regal. She pushed her hair back and hoped that her make up had not made her look like a bandit. This comfort in the room, the long night, and now he was taking a day to stay with her. Right here.

Which meant she would be going no where for a while. Did she mind? Looking at him, no she did not mind. Her dark eyes looked at him though taking in his every word, breathing in his presence. She shrunk a little when he said he wanted to know more. Oh more about what she did.

"Well as a companion I travel with whomever has contracted me to be a companion to them, and the details of what they expect, or need is outlined in a contract." It was very offiicial sounding so far, "sometimes I am asked to.." Oh she did not want to answer this, not this soon, and not with this kind of honesty. But. The night was over, and he should know, and be free to choose what he wanted to do.

"do other things for them. things I am not proud of but. Credits are hard to come by and many have preconceived ideas of my species. I try not to play into that." She began to tug at the sheet as if keeping her mind busy.

She knew she did not have to answer him she just couldn't really lie to him.
