- Slashing Power: Hanna’s lightwhips possess extreme cutting power and damage output compared to traditional lightwhips, due to their high blade temperature (30000°C). They are equal, if not better than a typical lightsaber in terms of performance, but they are largely unable to challenge beskar and most other lightsaber-resistant materials, unless sheared down through multiple repeated strikes in a single location.
- Hair Raising Charge: In addition to amplified cutting power, the lightwhips also convey a powerful electrical charge upon impact, which is liable to inflict gruesome electrical burn injuries, internal hydrostatic shock pressure waves/ tissue disruption, and even potentially setting targets on fire outright.
- Flexible Attack: The flexible nature of the energy tassels allows the lightwhips to potentially bypass or “bend around” many conventional defensive strategies and techniques that would otherwise be effective when employed against standard lightsabers.

- Reverse Charge: While the lightwhips are capable of being activated underwater, in the event that the wielder attempts to operate them while they themselves are underwater, there is a very high chance that the whip’s electrical charge will conduct through the water to electrocute the wielder.
- Material Limitations: The lightwhips are largely unable to challenge lightsaber-resistant materials in an efficient or practical manner, as even the weakest of such exotic and molecularly dense materials will require multiple strikes in a single concentrated point to achieve penetration.
- Blaster Bolt Deflection: While it almost goes without saying given their nature as flexible weapons, Hanna’s lightwhips are not reliable or practical for blaster bolt deflection under any given circumstances.
Created not by Hanna herself, but rather, the skilled artificers of the Dark Forge, Hanna’s lightwhips are a pair of weapons that are intended to complement her fighting style. Possessing both a primary and secondary crystal, the primary Firkrann crystal imparts a severe electrical charge upon impact, granting it the potential to have superior effectiveness against droids while also reliably producing gruesome electrical burn injuries on organic targets. The secondary Lignan crystal, in tandem with the pure diatium power cell, affords the weapons greater cutting power than that of standard lightwhips, making them roughly equal to lightsabers in performance.
In order to compensate for their wielder’s lack of Force-sensitivity, Hanna’s lightwhips feature a suite of integrated electronics for security and usability. The system links to the neural interface in Hanna’s armor and allows her to execute fast adjustments to the intensity, length, security systems, and other functions of the lightwhips.
All in all, Hanna’s Lightwhips are designed to be lethal instruments of destruction, to further the chaotic cause Hanna has dedicated her life to.
