Hands extended [Surge-Edition]

“Let your actions define you, not words which flow freely.”
- Cerita Sarova

A single leaf flowed upon the air, dancing on the waves of the wind as a ship might dance upon the current of the sea. It’s journey had been a long one, from one of the woods to a certain Temple on Annaj. The Fringe Confederation never established a firm stance on the Force and its use. For a while they tried to create a rival against the movement of the Jedi, called the Prophets of the Fringe.

But after Arcis’s departure from the Confederation, this ‘Order’ dissolved and once again the Confederation found itself with a more decentralized solution for what some called a problem. Now, most force sensitives, found themselves under the tutelage of separate Masters of the Force. And yet.. there were still temples to be found scattered around the worlds of the Fringe.

Annaj was one of many host, which held a Prophet Temple. Now re-used, as a simple center for study in all Force-related disciplines. This planet was the seat of the High Lord of Homeland Security. Some said Jared Ovmar was one of the most powerful men in the Confederation, Cerita did not wish to presume anything about that.

One thing she did know. He was one of many, who despised her. Despised her for being a clone of a woman whose reputation was unsavory to say the best. High Lord Ovmar had never made it easy for her to live her life. Always made it harder, but she could not really blame him. Hearing the stories.. it was almost easy to believe that her creation was an affront to everything.

Her existence here, and her protection under Rave.. it was a testament to a past the High Lord seemed desperately to forget. At least, this was what Cerita thought. Maybe he was just an arrogant nerf herder, who liked to give people a hard time. Maybe he just liked to use his power, and make people suffer.

But this wasn’t about him. She had desperately needed some time in peace, and so the Clone found herself trying to meditate in the Temple Garden. It gave her a small measure of comfort, to see nature itself in bloom. To see a single leaf fall gently from the sky, and land on her knee.

Cerita couldn’t help but smile just a little bit at this display.

She closed her eyes, and tried to tune out all the background noise. To focus on the trees, and plants around her. To feel them grow.

Maybe one day.. she would be powerful enough to stand up against the bullies of these world. Maybe one day, she would be able to make a name out there for herself. No longer ‘That clone wench’, one day.. they would remember her. Cerita Sarova, Master of Nature itself!

Spencer chased off a group of children, it seemed the members of the Fringe had been procreating and now she had managed to find herself in charge of the children. Putting her hands into the fresh soil, she planted the sprouts she had shown the children as a game and to teach them a little about the force. After giving the little sprouts a nice headstart on life, Spencer stood up and glanced about the place. She spotted something or someone familiar, but she knew that it wasn't the same person she had been thinking of. Adjusting her cloak she wondered how the clone was fitting in, it wasn't going to be an easy life especially with the reputation her template had laid out for her.

Being so in-tuned with the force allowed her to feel the way it shifted. She watched the plant woman and wondered firstly what she was up too and secondly what Rave was up to with creating the woman. Why subject your child to a life that someone had already played out. Deciding to wait and watch she took a place against one of the pillars that surrounded the gardens on Annaj. Folding her arms she wondered what the woman would create or if she could create. Either way, if she asked nice enough Spencer would help her with her studies.

A couple of kids ran past me, put a smile on my face. One of them tripped though, and fell right in front of me. I wasn’t really sure what I was supposed to do, but when I saw the little girl’s eyes tear up.. I knew I had to do.. well something. My eyes closed, and I tried to..

Well, it’s difficult to explain what I tried to do. Basically express calmness and serenity. At first nothing happened, but then I felt energy leaving me and evaporating into the wind. Sending off rays of calmness, to the child. Who promptly calmed down, instinctively I patted her head.

“You going to be okay, little miss?”

She just smiled at me, and then ran off to the other kids.

At least one good deed done. I spotted someone.. surprising then, Master Jacobs herself. I didn’t really know what to do, so I.. walked over to her and give her a bow.

“Master Jacobs, you are well, I hope?”
