Designation: Object 4144/a/t 'Ysgra'
Climate: Cold
Status: Deserted/Uninhabited

Mission: Purify and Seal
Parameters: Classified Operation, Warden Cipher Besk
Risk: Minor/Low

The frozen moon of Ysgra, more commonly referred to as astrological object 4144/a/t, is far from commonly inhabited space and known trade routes. The name was given to it by the only recorded settlers who ever lived on its harsh, cold surface many centuries ago. Covered mostly in rock and snow with no land to cultivate and no known major mineral deposits, the planetoid has never received any attention or serious attempts to settle it. Despite its harshness, or maybe even due to it, Ysgra nevertheless has a certain pull towards those attuned in the Force.

That is the primary reason why it was settled by a small group of Jedi a few decades prior to the Clone Wars and the Great Jedi Purge. Ascetic in nature and rather gloomy in style, the Jedi build a shrine into the rock above a hot spring they had discovered in a cave. That spring offered a direct connection to the Force they said, offering clarity, serenity and peace. Carrying some tomes and scrolls of knowledge, it is rumoured that even a holocron might be stored there, if taken or created there, is not known. But as soon as the end of the Jedi Order came about, the little contact the small enclave had, completely stopped.

According to the only report of contact with the shrine, dating back about five hundred years, the place is deserted with its former inhabitants nowhere to be found.

The Wardens of the Shroud are dispatched to clear out the Shrine and seal it. A relic of the Jedi Order and a place of adherence to the Force are primary targets for the secret order to destroy at all costs and prevent a re-discovery. Exploration and investigation is followed by the purification of the shrine, removal of all Force related objects and potentially the destruction of the hot spring if a Force relation can be proven.

The rumours and records accessible describe a vault build deep into the foundation of stone below the enclaves shrine. The potential existence of a holocron must be verified and all other objects of interest must be taken. The doors to the vault are sealed though, either by clever mechanism or by the Force itself, is at this point unknown. The Wardens dispatched have to figure out a way to get inside.

:::: INCOMING TRANSMISSION ::::
AUREK-0001 ENCRYPTION_OPEN MESSAGE
EMERGENCY FREQUENCY

Origin: Cattamascar System
Sender: E. Mifune, Captain, Eternal Navy
Verification: Successful

Subject: -/-
Message: [transcribed verbal impulse, '[...]' marks distortion]

"We [...] attack! Requiring support! [...] League raiders! I repeat [...] by raiders! Requesting immediate [...]!"

The transmission was forwarded to general fleet command and rated as verified attack by pirates or raiders on a colony in the Cattamascar System. Considered close to Kalidan and part of our sphere of influence, the Fleet High Command dispatched a task force of the Eternal Navy to report and deal with the situation.

The sender, Captain Esme Mifune, is another relatively new addition to the roster of the Eternal Navy and was tasked with patrol duty in the system on his frigate, ENS Respite. There has been no contact with the ship and crew since the emergency message was sent.

A manned response was favored over dispatching the Eternal Fleet both as a show of competence as well as training for the mortal crews. Mission parameters define to eliminate any threat, recover any imperial assets and protect the local populace. The Eternal Navy units are assembled ad-hoc and will perform a coordinated operation to achieve all mission goals.

Through loyalty our duty is its own reward.

Upon arrival it is obvious that a small warband of the Athysian League has entered the system and started raiding the planetary colony. Despite their silence for more than two decades, these marauders seem to have survived the end of the Maw and are keen on restoring some of their old, twisted glory. Mad cultists, twisted mutants and savage pirates they are, but nevertheless organised.

Break their fleet, destroy as many ships as you can and if possible, send a relief force through the blockade to the surface to help the colony. STRATCOM has given intel that the colony had been equipped with some armory and weaponry for self-defence, secure it.

Evident by the amount of escorts and the reported stream of landing craft and shuttles to the flagship, the enemy has taken prisoners and history has shown that these people will never see the light of day or indeed any joy in their lives again if not freed.
Further more the commander of the raider fleet is notorious from several campaigns from many years ago and infamous for her brutality and barbaric nature, even among the marauders. Take her out or even prisoner for Blackwatch to interrogate her, to find the base of operations of these savages.

Board the flagship and rescue the prisoners and fight the marauder warlord.
