The H3N-R1 Droid was an attempt by a young Kaili Talith to create a small droid. The idea was something that she had toyed with for the longest of times. All of her siblings had a pet of some kind, all except Kaili. Micah had Vexen, Maleah had Toofless and Aela had her books. All that was left was the youngest and her non-existent connection to the realm of organic bi-, quadro- and/or octopedal creatures.
Enter the creation of the new family pest: Henry.
Henry was a lightweight robot made out of Laminanium with a small AI core installed to give it a unique and ever-expanding personality. The droid had many different uses such as spying on brothers, unlocking locked doors and climbing on walls a combination which when the brother was expecting it the least would allow the girl to have the tiny droid pounce him from the ceiling.
In it’s small nature the best way to compare the H3N-R1 to another droid would be that of an astromech with a personality upgrade and with an inability to pilot ships. This was mostly due to it’s small size. It served better as a piece of spying equipment. With sensors to detect lifeforms, flashlight to light up the dark and a low-light camera for when it needs to be a bit more covert. On top of that it has the ability to notice UV-Radiation which was a way to ensure total safety from what could not be seen.
All in all the H3N-R1 was primarily built to be a house pet with the ability to be useful for finding things and entering places it was not supposed to have access to.
Its legs are made out of spikes for climbing soft surfaces and stone. For when he needs to climb metal his feet contains magnets but the grip is varying depending on the complexity and material. For example his spikes have a weak grip on stone as his feet can only burrow themselves ever so slightly into the hard surface, however when it comes to wood he can scale it without a problem.
There is a small Swiss army knife-like assortment of tools in his frame. Small and not very powerful but still enough for it to get around. For example it has a buzzsaw for grates and wooden equipment and a fusion welder for when it needs to fix something quick.
With an AI of it’s own the robot is not afraid to speak his mind. The droid is fluent in only basic and binary which means when it comes to other languages it will have just about the same quizzical mood as its master. Because of quirks acquired from overly protective parenting the robot thinks itself above most people except for his Master who created him.
The AI itself has two states of existence. Bodily and hibernation. Hibernation meaning something catastrophic has happened to the chassis and the personality has decided to transfer itself to a remote server inside of whichever ship Kaili Talith places the lightweight mainframe on. This is to ensure he never dies before his time should anything happen to him.
