SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Through blood forging and rune making, these scepters had been imbued with the full power of the Force. The might of dark magick placed on this item provides the wearer with raw power, allowing him to channel it to its needs, enhancing their strength to twenty times what it is, as it increases their passive abilities and mental fortitude.
  • Highly resistant against many sorts of weaponry, Grothû is capable of sparring with a lightsaber with ease, carrying little concern of having its surface cut in half by the nasty Jedi weaponry, as its sharp blade being made of songsteel with such famed edge that it can be easily confused with a vibroblade can cut through the scales of a tyrant dragon as if it were cheese.
STRENGTHS
  • Lord of Thunder - A unique use of the staff is to summon the powers of Force Lightning and its variants. Allowing the user to easily channel the necessary connection with these nefarious dark endowments with greater expertise, the greater the challenge the more the scepter takes as using the maximum focus of one's body can even summon the full strength of storms and bolts made entirely of its wicked energy.
  • A Magician's Gear - A experiment magician of dreadful power, Lunafreya infused the gloves with a series of enchantments, magical runes, all carved to its handle for heightening certain passive physical skills necessary for achieving the full extent of one's ends. Through sorcery, Lunafreya infused this set of gloves with the malevolence of darkest magick, granting this set with a number of skills of her own.
    • Mesmerism - An ancient enchantment that allows a shaman to override the thought of those weaker than oneself, particularly men and offworlders. A tap of the fingertip to the victim's forehead would induce a trancelike state and make the victim powerless to refuse commands. [Not meant to be used against PC, or anyone's NPC.]
    • Mindspeech - An ancient enchantment that allows the caster to project her image and voice into the head of another person much as a holographic figure would. This power cannot be used against those that were never seen by the user, it must be used on those better acquainted with the caster.
    • Spell of Assistance - A Nightsister enchantment that allows it on using its focusing powers on healing others.
    • Sense of the Veshet - A Nightsister enchantment that allows the user to distinguish scents carried by the wind one hundred meters away, and to see on a moonless pitch-black night clearly.
    • Scream of the Ssurian - A Nightsister enchantment that could bring forth the deep thrumming vibrations of the ssurian dragon's hunting call, as well as the earth-splitting shriek of its territorial warning. When directed at an enemy, the wave of sound has the potential of shattering teeth and popping eardrums.
    • Surge of the Brier - An ancient Nightsister technique, similar to Plant Surge, that had the user reach into the Veil and grip the essence of a sessile plant. The technique's wielder could twist and shape the plant into a form of their choosing, and by doing so could wrap an enemy in vines, or impale them with thorns.
    • Spell of Protection - A Nightsister spell that could be cast by those acquainted with magic. It protected the user by creating a bubble of energy around the wielder capable of blocking both energy and physical matter but doing it so as long as the spell was being cast by the user.
    • Spell of Creature Understanding - A Nightsister spell that could be cast by those acquainted with magic. It allowed a witch to understand animals. Because animals did not have proper languages, the understanding was primarily based on emotions. The spell was far easier to cast on domestic animals than wild ones, and wild predators were more difficult to communicate with than other species.
WEAKNESSES
  • The Light in Darkness - As any item made from sith arts, the Grotthu suffers in its ability to resist the Light. While it can work its magic against a light side user some issues can appear when facing light side empowered abilities, such as force light, that could destroy the artifact entirely.
  • Force Negation - As with most sith weaponry or force imbued weapon, any contact with any kind of Voidstone, Voidsteel, or nullification bubble such as the ysalamir can dampen, or temporarily remove the capabilities of the weapon. While the Beskar can still retain its durability, the ‘special’ skills which the weapon is famous for are all but nullified.
  • Drainer - When holding the staff, its skills will constantly drain the user for each time its talents are used in the field, slowly wearing them down.
  • Force Users - This staff has proven unable of controlling the minds of strong-willed force users, but can leave them feeling of corruption on those of weaker pure hearts.
  • Not Hogwarts - The Grothû is but a tool, that when wielded on the hands of those seasoned by the battlefield, or experienced in the guileful use of foul magic can prove itself to be capable of dealing tremendous pain towards others as it is capable of performing deeds of wonder. However, to those not yet familiar with performing the sort of magical ritualistic language engraved in this device, the Grothû can prove utterly useless and nothing more than a fancy sharp blunt tool.

DESCRIPTION

Hidden by the Sith Empire alongside many other things in the Center for Progress, the Grotthu was one of the objects taken by Prince Daedalos Solidor during the Imperial Invasion on the planet. Done at the request of his infamous sister, Daedalos brought back everything that was confiscated during the invasion into the clutches of Lunafreya, in order for her to decide what to do with each item. Deciding to keep it all in her possession, Lunafreya, who secretly refused to comply with the Sith purge at Bastion, decided to hand the staff over to Muun in her service.

For as soon as it was discovered that the staff had deep relations with the dark side, allowing not only to unleash bursts of flashes of lightning on their enemies but also to control the minds of those weaker the willpower of its user. Unfortunately, the staff has proven useless against force users when attempting to control their minds but has proven a lot of success for commanding the weak and the meek. The Scepters were reshaped by Lunafreya Solidor when already in her possession, distributed among her closest and trustworthy servants to perform deeds of malice and villainous act on her behalf.
