I don't know if this is the place to ask questions but I want to anyways.

How could I make a character join the galactic alliance defense forces? Which branch is the most active one? How detailed do I have to make my character's backstory? Would it have to tie into timeline events? Could I pick any planet in the alliance for my character to start from? I just want to know before I write one.

1. How? Make a character bio, join the Galactic Alliance, ask on the forum, the faction forum: https://www.starwarsrp.net/factions/the-galactic-alliance.11/

2. Which? I dunno tbh. Lots of Jedi, military, and intelligence officers there though. They have a Senate too i think.

3. How Detailed? There are no regulations regarding the detail of a character bio, only that you have one. It is not approved. Literally the only requirement you have to worry about is having one. It can look like absolute crap, just to get you started. It doesn't matter. Come back and make it pretty later. But to RP, you need it, so just post up some crap to get started so you don't have to worry about it.

4. Would? Not really. Just be aware of the "modern" year, but time isn't a very strict mechanism here.

5. Could? Yes, you may start from any planet in the alliance or outside, nobody can tell you otherwise.
