The Grand Theatre has always been a mainstay of the arts on Bespin, but had been in a state of decline for several years. The previous opera company attempted to remodel the theatre to accommodate a more modern aesthetic, but this caused a steady downfall in popularity. With such a drop in ticket sales, many of the skilled performers moved on, leaving behind a lackluster cast and crew.
However, shortly after the First Order came to rule over Bespin, the venue began to experience quite a revival. The venue itself has been painstakingly restored to its former glory, and features the opulence and luxury one would expect in an opera house. The Grand Theatre is now managed by members of the First Artists Guild, and they have implemented a Patron status system to for additional funding. Their first Premier Circle Benefactor was none other than Marzena Choi.
The First Artists Guild seeks to use the Grand Theatre to improve life and culture through art, while also promoting the ideals of the glorious First Order.
Intent: To further the development of the arts and culture on Bespin, and to offer a landmark location for IC flavor.
