STRENGTHS

• Armoured Box - The 2307 is heavily armoured with its advanced deflector shielding, Durasteel armour plates and plethora of countermeasures the craft is not the easiest to knock out of the sky.
• Gas, Gas, Gas! - The 2307 is fast for a ship of its shape, able to quickly deploy its passengers and then get out quickly. The heavy sublight engines provide this capability, able to keep up with starfighters which would ordinarily be much faster.

WEAKNESSES

• Outgunned - 2 light laser turrets is all the 2307 has to offer in terms of weaponry, the main purpose of the weapons being to clear out lightly fortified enemies from an uncleared landing zone. The ship is outfitted with an ariel targeting system in the Intellex droid brain but it is rudimentary at best, with most of the ships power being routed to the shields.
• No range? - A lack of hyperspace and a power intensive shielding system, the 2307 has a limited range requiring a large ship or base to deploy from and refuel at. Operating far from conventional forces is not recommended.

DESCRIPTION
With the galaxy once again in open warfare, the demand for accessible and mass-produced warships once again flooded the market. The first on the line of starships, the General Purpose Lander 2307, often shortened to just Lander, is a small and compact landing ship designed to operate from any type of capital ship and deploy on a multitude of environments with the sole priority of getting boots on the ground, able to ferry a platoon of soldiers with a whole squadron easily deploying an entire battalion.

The ship is designed around this goal, with advanced shielding, additional armour plating and impressive speed it also sacrifices offensive weapons with it's two dual laser cannons having the express purpose of clearing hot landing sites. Requiring only a crew of 1 with an advanced droid brain able to handle the complex and mundane tasks that would usually warrant a co-pilot, the 2307 is a perfect fit for smaller militaries or expeditionary forces looking to maximize their presence with manpower limitations.
