• Pocket Carrier: The IRA Gozanti-class Corvette is equipped with six magna locks allowing it to lock on to up to six TIE variants, six light vehicles, or two heavy vehicles and transport them through both the void and hyperspace.
• Coms-Jammer: Every IRA Gozanti-class comes equipped with communication jamming equipment capable of scrambling most forms of long-range technological communication (such as radio or the HoloNet) within a ten kilometer sphere around the vessel when activated. This is most often used to prevent enemy scout fighters from relaying the position of any fleet with a Gozanti in it. Short range communication such as between individual ships is still effective due to the proximity of the communicators.

• In the Way: While an IRA Gozanti-class Corvette is hauling equipment or vehicles with its magna locks it prevents the ventral turret from firing, dramatically limiting the firing arcs of the vessel.
• Indiscriminate: While the IRA Gozanti-class's jamming equipment is in operation it will just as much scramble allied communications as well as enemy's.

With the limited number of ships with operational hangars available to the Imperial Reclamation Authority it was decided that the various classes of Gozanti inherited from the Empire and seized from local Imperial warlords would be standardized into the pocket-carrier variant. These thus make up the bulk of IRA Patrol craft, typically acting as escort to a larger frigate which requires both fighter support and the added guns of the Gozanti themselves. While previous iterations of the Gozanti only held four TIEs, more recent innovations in technology have allowed for the IRA variant to carry more, increasing their effectiveness dramatically.
