Gotta Love Shenanigans

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
(This can be either before or after you get the new arm, doesn't really matter)

And so the crew had done it again. After having failed to successfully get him a partner, having gone from horned bestial woman to Zeltrons, the crew of the Iceni were at it once again. This time, to add a little extra into the mix, she was Sith - but a Chiss, a species they knew Bosch would wholeheartedly respect. And it was with a smirk that the leader of the cabal was currently waiting in the hangar for her arrival, eager to direct this newest woman to the bridge so Bosch could have a dinner, then more.

Then again, the Admiral might just vent him out the airlock for doing this.

Sokrai walked down the small, chrome hallways, as she flexed her fingers. Thye moved strangely, but what do you expect from a new arm? She was called here by a "Supposed" admiral, although she remembered hearing other people whispering in the background. Due to this, she was on edge, expecting some bumbling pirates to pop out of a closed door and to try holding her up.

The door opened, and immediately she would see just how sincere of an Imperial warship this was. The Iceni had been the flagship of the Imperial navy at the time of the Empire's collapse, and while Bosch was no longer the Supreme Commander of the Imperial Navy, the Iceni's crew constantly received classification as one of the top ten Imperial warships to be assigned to. The crew meeting her were well-dressed, and the first mate smiled. "Ah, so you're the one Bosh invited aboard. Welcome to the Imperial Star Destroyer Iceni, former flagship of the Imperial navy and current flagship of the First Fleet. I'll escort you to the bridge."

And so he moved to do so. Bosch himself was working on putting his game-face on. He had an explanation to give.

Again.

Sokrai squinted at the man, looking at him with sheer contempt. She sighed, and began talking while rubbing her eyes. " So, here's what you will do: You will tell me who you are, what your classification and rank is, and why I'm here. " Sokrai told the man with a hint of annoyance and a twinge of anger. She followed him, as she went to a small elevator that would send them up to the bridge.

"Commander Ezra Tycho. First mate of the Iceni. You're here because the captain desperately needs a girlfriend." He paused, again moving to escort the woman to the bridge. Once in the elevator, he would try his best to ignore her, fearing eye contact would lead to his inevitable maiming or death. That was, of course, if he wasn't kicked out into space by the Admiral for doing this again. And once the doors to the bridge opened, the Admiral, whose back was turned, gave an audible sigh.

"You just never learn, do you, Tycho?"

Sokrai stared at Tycho with utter hatred, as she gripped the handle of her lightsaber. "Commander...Who do you think I am? I am a LORD, not some cheap escort you bought from Hutta! So, let me ask you again...Who. Do. You. Think. I. Am? She yelled at Tycho, as she clearly brandished her lightsaber, showing it right in front of the Commander's face.

"A Sith woman who really needs to calm down..." He paused, looking to the turned back of the Admiral in an attempt to get his clemency. He hoped desperately that the admiral would save him... and so he did.

"Tycho, you are confined to quarters for the next week. Lieutenant Rusk will be taking your place." And as a security guard hauled the punished First Mate away, he finally turned back, his tired face making eye contact with the hostile Chiss woman. "Never assume that you are the first woman hauled into this. He has brought many others in as well, and I've explained the misunderstanding to them time and time again. They consistently assume I need some sort of female companionship." A sigh crossed his lips as he turned away from Sokrai. "Perhaps we can talk further in my ready room."

Sokrai gave the man a furious glare, as she turned back to the admiral. " Hmm. Seeing how I've never seen you before in my life, and your crew seems hellbent on matching us up, I'd prefer we'd stay here. " She said with much annoyance and contempt.

"I've learned from experience that it's best not to give children what they say they want - they'll eventually forget about it and move on with their lives." He paused. "Essentially, they're almost attention-deficit to the degree that something else can easily distract them. Now come. Should anything happen, I expect your predilection for violence and carnage will keep you safe."

He turned, motioning to the door that led to his ready room.

She grimaced at the Admiral, as she strolled into the cool room. The air was crisp and fresh, a cool feeling. Eclipsion looked over the room, analyzing it's aspects and items. She turned to the admiral, and began talking. " Hmm. Nice room, but I swear I will feed you to the Akk Hounds if you dare make the wrong move. " She told him with rage in her voice.

"Well... What can I say? I'm sorry that you were suckered into this by my crew. They've consistently been trying to get me female companionship for the past few months. While I appreciate their concern, it's exceptionally childish and I don't need any women aside from competent officers who desire to serve on board the most prestigious ship in the Imperial navy." Smiling, he eyed the Chiss woman over for a moment before returning to his serious face, ignoring the intimidatory effect of such piercing red eyes.

"You're welcome aboard my vessel for an extended stay, of course. As well, I always take the women the crew send to me to dinner as a courtesy before they leave."

The Sith Knight grimly smiled upon hearing the Admiral's offer. " I accept, but remember the Akk Hounds." Eclipsion told him sadistically as she sat down nearby. The man seemed nice enough, but she remained on her guard, seeing how she was just tricked by seemingly nice people into coming here in the first place. The Lord had a scowl imprinted on her face as she watched the Admiral.

With a smile, Bosch moved to lead the Chiss Sith through the bowels of the ship to the main turbolift. From there, it would take them to the mess deck, where they would walk through the sparsely full dining areas to the officer's mess - a large dining room, empty but for Bosch and Sokrai. Like a gentlemen, he pulled her seat out and pushed her in as the chef walked by, ready to prepare a meal.

"So, where do you come from in the New Order, Miss Ronaro?"

As she strolled through empty turbolifts, spacious and wide hallways, she had a slight smile on her face from the sheer space of the ship. The smirk grew a little wider when he pulled out the seat for her. ' Good manners, seems nice enough. ' She thought, as she seated herself in the chair, and nodded at the admiral to signify her thanks. " Just shipped out from Cadomai Prime. Born on Csilla. Were are you from Admiral?" Eclipsion asked Aken, actually showing a hint of curiosity.

"Bastion's where I call home, though any world in the Empire is home to me. I've served the Empire long enough to be everywhere we've ever held refuse, to see things others don't normally see. And now, it's my thirty-seventh year in the navy, and I won't be going anywhere anytime soon." He paused. "So, how did you end up signing up as a Sith? Your profile lists you as Sokrai Ronaro, Knight-rank Force user."

[member="Lord Eclipsion"]

The Knight squinted at the admiral, but then realized that if he'd been serving the Order for 37 years he wouldn't be trying to kill her. " I was found off of Csilla. I was actually lost by my family, and barely survived in that fething hole that is the Csilla wilderness, and after I was found when I was 15, I just blended in for a while. Then the Order discovered me and...Here I am now! " Eclipsion told him, as she started to wonder how he got his start. " How'd you end up being an admiral? " The Chiss asked [member=Aken Bosch].

Well, during my career, I eventually was given the rank of commodore. I performed admirably as such and received a special promotion from Emperor's Hand Gregor Gideon to Grand Admiral. That rank was given to another when I came back to the reformed Empire after it's destruction, and I was given the rank of Admiral to compensate." He smiled. "You know, you show a lot more emotion than I would expect to see from a Chiss. Based on my experience with them in the Imperial Navy, some of them can be... Cold. Hardened. Ruthless."
