You know what's better than an AT-AT? A BIGGER AT-AT! That's what Velran Kilran proposed to Moda Dorn who questioned Velran's request. Kilran still forced her to design the Gorilla Walker with more powerful weaponry and reinforced armor in mind. Learning from the weaknesses of the AT-AT, Moda had turrets built to the sides and powered up by A.I in order to combat any Speeders and cover its blind spots. Velran wanted the Gorilla Walker to be capable of roars designed to worm its way into the enemies' head and intimidate them. He recorded Giant Simians roaring in the Outer Rim planets and applied the samples to the walker. Complete with some editing and alteration to the pitch to make the Walker sound more terrifying. Meanwhile, Moda built the shield generator from scratch and implemented onto the Walker. After joining the Empire of the Lost, Velran allowed them to manufacture Gorilla Walkers of their own provided that they pay an exorbitant amount. War is expensive after all.
