• Description:
• The Goranites are a small crew of a scientist, two if you count Shavara herself, a guardian, and two who operate the ship. They were carefully chosen by Shavara due to all possessing little loyalty towards either the Eternal Empire or Nexus Krae. Although they are certainly primarily discoverers, they will sometimes work in coordination with the Eclipse Rebellion in order to try and fight back against the Eternal Empire.

CREW MEMBER 1

• Name: Akronikus Rekae
• Age: 79
• Species: vran (Shi)
• Role: Biological/Medical Expert
• Description: Akronikus does not have much patience for others and is staunchly set in his beliefs. He often keeps quiet on them, but has no issue criticising others. He was one of Shavara’s teachers as she had grown, and she remembered his tendencies when she decided to join the Eclipse Rebellion. Shavara sought him out and asked him to once again help her in matters of science, and if he would be willing to overlook her less than legal activities against their current governance. Something Akronikus had no issue doing. Akronikus is a biological expert, with years and years of study he is able to continue to help Shavara learn as well as being one of the main researchers, if not the main one, of the crew. He is physically aging but is still able to function fairly well, though he would not be expected to ever have to fight or do heavy work. Him and Shavara comprise the primary research team.

CREW MEMBER 2

• Name: Gavia Lavrek
• Age: 32
• Species: vran (Shi)
• Role: Primary ship expert, secondary flight.
• Description: Gavia is one of the few members of the Vran species who actually spent time working on ships and helped with those who came into the landing port of Vran’Ti’s main city. As a result she has good knowledge of how they function and can help guide repairs, as well as is the main pilot. Gavia is also more used to having to speak Galactic Basic and so has a more fluid speech then the very deliberate words that most Vran use. She has a generally better understanding of technology and foreigners in general. Gavia sometimes helps also with making the devices needed for research.

CREW MEMBER 3

• Name: Grakis Vrogorn
• Age: 45
• Species: osorae
• Role: Guardian/Heavy worker
• Description: Grakis was made into a slave after he attempted to rob a Vo Ni’s home of its valuables while he was on guard duty there. He was at the time a member of the Jkri forces, and had a good record up until that point. But his family was falling on bad times. However during the robbery he ran into the Vo Ni himself, which resulted in a fight. Grakis was charged with attempting to assassinate the Vo Ni and steal his property, and he hardly knew how to defend himself. He was made into a slave, but in the hopes of being freed one day for his service, was accepted into the Osorae species. Physically transformed into a species that was the equivalent of a slave soldier. He is incapable of speaking basic and his own language is difficult to understand, often relying on a (properly equipped) translator droid, or on Shavara’s telepathy to get his intents across. Officially he is working as Shavara’s slave to help guard the ship and do the heavy lifting. However, more than almost any others on the crew. Grakis has considerable experience with physical combat and carries a heavy flamethrower when in combat most of the time. He has the general issues an Osorae runs into, although he does technically know basic medical aid he certainly would find it almost, if not completely, impossible to give it due to his physical limitations of fine-tuned movements.

CREW MEMBER 4

• Name: Zenith Vain
• Age: 54
• Species: Human
• Role: Primary pilot/mechanic backup security.
• Description: Zenith has no love for the Eternal Empire and was mainly trading with Vran’Ti for their medical technology. With the Eternal Empire’s control over them, that trade began to become more problematic. However worse was when his home world was taken over by them. He works for Shavara officially only as a hired pilot. Since he’s outnumbered by locals of Vran’Ti this doesn’t attract too much attention, but eyes are often kept on him, even by the other members of the crew. Zenith is a good pilot and can help with the mechanical issues. He also is relatively skilled with a blaster rifle if need be, aided by a cybernetic arm, and knee, though this is much less impressive. He avoids having to be involved if he can however, due to ‘crumbling joints’

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Shavara’s interest in biology and alchemy granted her a higher chance of access to the types of equipment she may need to further enhance the knowledge of Vran’Ti. As a result, she was one of the ones who was able to get access to a KS-6800 'Endeavor' Survey & Exploration Ship which would be equipped with Vran’Ti’s extra scientific technology to help her. The crew all have one reason or another for why they were chosen. Shavara had to be careful not to blatantly choose those against the Eternal Empire nor against the Vran’Ti Vo Ni (A much more difficult effort) however having them be off planet most of the time helped with keeping secrets from that point onwards. The Goranites do actually make efforts towards scientific discovery, however when possible they also secretly assist the Eclipse Rebellion. Usually by getting Shavara to them with further aid. As the use of the ship would inevitably result in discovery. Each member also has a set of necessary skills for operational purposes. Zenith and Gavia primarily use the ship, while Shavara and Akronikus work on the scientific discovery, and Grakis helps with heavy lifting and physical dangers.
