DESCRIPTION

Having retired from his duties to the Silver Jedi Order, Thurion Heavenshield settled on his homeworld of Midvinter along with his wife on the western shore of the vast continent. There they founded Fridheim, at first a small fishing village intended for refugees displaced by the Sith attack which saw many of the defenseless settlements put to the torch. It soon grew into a fullblown city, second only to the capital itself, and by royal decree Thurion was named Warden of the West by his brother, High King Thyrian Hearthfire.

Along with his new position, the king also saw fit to outfit his younger brother with a new suit of armor to reflect his status, claiming he'd "outgrown" the old armor Thurion had been gifted by their father many years ago. This new set is far more suited for use in battle, and is heavily adorned with golden depictions of the Midvinter lion, commonly found on the western plains, as it has become the sigil of House Heavenshield for their fierce protection of their kin.

This suit of phrik armor, while indeed heavier than its older counterpart, does allow for greater movement on the battlefield due to its interlocking plates, crafted to perfectly fit together when worn by Thurion. Instead of one entire suit of armor, this new one is made up of individual pieces that all can be taken apart and put back together separately. This includes greaves, pauldrons, vambraces, gauntlets, and the cuirass just to name a few. This also allows for more speedy treatment of wounds, as rather than step out of the entire suit - which is a long and tedious process - the wearer can simply remove the piece that protects the wounded area.

In the end, however, this armor set is of simple design compared to many of the suits found across the stars. It offers no offensive capabilities and includes no advanced technology in the slightest. It was designed to keep its wearer alive, and that it excels at.
