Ghost of a chance

[Matsu Ike]

Location: Saeko Valley facility, Kazahana Asteroid Field Processing Facility

Chora Ike enjoyed her life as a ghost but more important then that she enjoyed hanging out with her family and living wife. Usually as an invisible force of a ghost working to maintain herself from the netherworld to just continue to observe and watch her. She could see the love of her life and who she had died for working on things for the jedi in the lab. They had been constructing on in the frozen valley on this planet while mining the asteroid field of ore and stygium. She could see Matsu sitting there with a smile though holding the sigil up.

That thing was like a beacon to those within the force and it burned with the lightside as the former jedi master was letting her hands rest on the woman's shoulders wishing she could inhale the scent of her under the flower soaps she knew how to make and that underlying scent of power. Ancient secrets gave an alluring scent she could remember like the cloying scent of flowers and spice. The jedi master was infusing power into the sigil to further augment it while mining droids were harvesting the asteroids for stygium crystal.

The work was continuing with all of them, slowly at first but more and more Chora could see the purpose as the sigil was being worked on. The droids and jedi researchers milling about with all of them as sensors indicated where the mining materials were being tracked on their way back to the facility. It gave the ghost something to do while she was walking around and watching more and more. Power being poured in with the feeling from the heart of the universe that could channel the force energy into it before she sat back down. adding her hands to the mix setting them on the sigil and focusing the force energies she could feel to make it stronger.

Chora continued to watch Matsu as she was working on the sigil more. The hours passed by and slowly the jedi master came out of her trance looking over most of the things there. She was walking around and finally Matsu seemed to stir getting out of her seat when the droids came in. All the hard work had taken a toll while she was eating ravenously with some of the food and drinks. "Thank you Harmony." Chora could see more of it going on while the mining ships arrived with the hual. All the crystals, ore and metal they could find within the asteroid field was used for a purpose before the jedi master had finished taking a seat again. New reports of everything being unloaded including some husk from a colossus wasp that could be used.

She could see it now while the stygium crystals were being brought into the facility and lab for them to work with. All of the jedi here seemed more excitred just getting a chance to work with more samples as the ore around them worked a purpose eagerly. "Master Matsu there is seven crates of processed and polished stygium for use, with the order from Grandmaster Raaf on hold we no longer have it going towards temple ship devices and can allocate it to Loom research." That had saddened the jedi master while she was sitting there and crossed her legs on the table. They were all still working on things while the sigils were being infused wih force energy from the entire group instead of just one person.

More time passed as the jedi were back to work, all of them sitting there in the lab pouring over the information from the crystals while slowly shaving slivers off to test for making strands. The balance of size and amount so they could make weaves to thread through armor was impressive to say the least while going forward and the falleen if she wasn't so bored might be interested but she knew from experience such a thing could take days or even weeks out of their time on end. THen there was the danger of always finding a new discovery or a new application that wasn' even on the books which really had gotten them excited before long.... she was blowing out no air and watching the force energies being applied to the crystals.

Chora continued to work the force energies to direct them into Matsu's experiments on the crystal sigil as more stygium and metals were being set out. The mining droids unloading before it was processing through the spindles and machinery to refine it. They needed to be able to do more then just make things, they needed to be able to rely on all their operations before going forward. It gave Chora a look of interest while she was thinking about some of the things finishing for the moment channeling as much force energy as she could into it. There was more going on and she walked around Matsu more seeing some of the designs going up on the wall while inventory of equipment was laid out like hypergems that could be laid out and made into a crystal mirror to be imbued with the force.

The work she watched Matsu doing was continuing and suddenly the jedi master pulled away tired from the exchange. She laid there against the coolness of the table while Chora stood behind her placing hand on her shoulders even though she couldn't feel or hear her. No the real surprise was how the other researchers were working and had the good work ethic knowing to not try and help her recover just to continue working while they were working in the spindle and machinery the crystals into something for the loom. The designs they had for it going all over a few of the things providing more information until Chora stood back seeing the droids approaching.

The small rest that Matsu was taking as the ghost roamed around the facility wasn't beyond her notice and she could feel all of it as well as her before she would need to get back. Watching over someone while they slept was a little silly when they couldn't see you and they couldn't feel you but she could get an idea of the rest of the facility. Seeing the warehouse section where they were working on vehicles and ships for use on the planet and the equipment being loaded into boxes. Slowly all of the jedi were getting some of the new equipment loaded to replace in the ships the stygium crystal. Transports between the mines on the asteroids and the facility here were going on schedule.

The testing was finsihing and she couldn't continue staying there while she watched. The force had been kind enough to allow her to observe and see her love one last time but it was time to go and rest as the facility seemed to be getting darker and Matsu was sitting there. The jedi master hard at work again with the sigil while they finished processing the stygium crystals into strands to work and make for their things. The researchers working with the sigils were giving a good amount of force energy she saw before sitting there with a smile on her face drifting back into the force towards watching her daughters.
