245 ABY The Jen'ari Empire's Dark Council sent a fleet far into the outer rim on the edges of the galaxy looking for new systems to rule. This fleet was known as the Black Fleet. During the mission on an uncharted world, Imperial Scouts found a nest of eggs of unknown species and brought 2 per ship on board. On the way back the eggs hatched releasing a nightmare of a creature. The mission took so long the two creatures fully grew in size. Each ships crew was completely wiped out. The Black Fleet Simply Disappeared into the unknown without a trace. The Dark Council put together a scouting team to find the fleet, but the 400 year darkness caused by the Gulag Plague struck causing all search missions to be cancelled. The Dark Council know very little of the creatures through brief transmissions. The only valuable image they got was this.

Now, over 600 years later, The Emperor still curious about the Black Fleet wants to send another search party out for the Black Fleet after Imperial Scouts picked up readings that matched the Ghost Fleet. The Dark Council agrees and forms the Fleet that will go to search for the Ghost Fleet and get answers to what happened and if possible, bring the fleet home.

The Black Fleet. A fleet that belonged to the Empire back in 245 ABY. It went on a mission to scout new locations to control, but picked up something horrible and the entire crew perished. The fleet wasn't heard from ever again.....until recently. Imperial Scouts picked up signals that matched the missing Black Fleet. Now the Emperor and the Dark Council wants the fleet returned, or destroyed and answers sought out. Darth Pyktis wasn't one to seek answers, but he'd for sure eradicate any problem among that fleet. Pyktis sat in a lambda shuttle aboard the black widow meditating. He was eager to begin. His outfit was that of his most common one, black robes reaching the ground, black and silver mask under his hood. He only wondered what kind of creatures were out there, he saw the evidence videos. Dripping acidic saliva, silver razor teeth. Nightmare creatures, but of what race were they.

Pyktis felt the fleet drop out of light speed and the ships come to a stop. A small amount of Imperial Troopers, Sith and mercenaries were loading themselves onto the shuttles in the hangar. The shuttle Pyktis had been on, just had the pilot, and a small number of troops board. The shuttle lifted up and took off out of the black widow hangar after the ramp raised. Pyktis looked out the window and saw it. 14 Star Destroyers just floating in space, on the outside nothing looked wrong, but the inside, the inside Pyktis knew there would be true horrors. Pyktis's shuttle reached the hangar of Black Fleet Destroyer 1 named Libera. Upon entering the hangar it was a mess. Crashed shuttle, broken towers and rafters, wires everywhere, blood splatter among the floor of the hangar. No power so it was very dark. The shuttle landed where it could lowering the ramp. The troops shuffled out followed by Pyktis. Pyktis stood for a moment looking around. He could sense the creatures, problem was locating them, as if they had the ability to mask their exact location. It was unexplainable. Pyktis shrugged it off and told his troops to go scour the destroyer, kill anything that moves.

Pyktis doing his own searching and came to a horrified looking room way past the hangar. Looked like a lab, glass window walls, but they were covered in blood.

image0.jpg

Pyktis grabbed a glass door and slid it open. Pyktis looked around, blood was everywhere. Pyktis heard something go shuffling past but it was nearly a silent sound. Pyktis left the lab looking around from hearing the noise. Pyktis then heard a hiss down the hall. Pyktis grabbed his saber hilt and begun walking down the hall trying to locate the source of the hiss.

The shuttle was quite as it docked with the Star Destroyer. It was filled to the brim with nearly fifty Grotthu Legionaries, each one armed to the teeth and prepared for whatever might be outside the door of the shuttle. At least, that was the thought in theory. In truth, Darth Animus was unsure of what they might be facing, and what truly they could do against it. The crews of fourteen Star Destroyers had not been enough to stop them. Then again, the crews had not been members of the Dark Council.

As the ramp lowered and the Legionaries stormed out, blasters raised and flashlights illuminating the dark hangar, they began to march forward, with Animus at the lead, both his lightsabers already ignited and waiting. their mission was to get to the bridge and engine room of the Star Destroyer, get them back online, and retake control of the vessel. Afterwards, they would turn it over to fleet command and see about assisting in tracking down whatever it was that had done this to the fleet. Though, Animus mused, he might very well meet the threat before then.

Objective 3: Study
Location: Everywhere, and Nowhere. Very far and very close.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O8mVsG7LuCw

Something watched. Studied. Always awareness stretching out, looking to find others. A very large thing with no sense of itself, only the creatures it was watching. There wasn’t a concept of distance, not even of the creatures being individuals, but there was of a collective will.

Another collective will. There was a sense of more than one, two, separation. There was a pause, the hive mind paused. Not since it had expanded to find a new intelligence had there been a pause, across dozens of worlds, creatures were frozen in place, as a new sensation and exploration became realized. Reaching forward to connect to this separation.

The Hive focused a lot of conscious attention on the ships. Seeking what was behind them, within them, looking for more. Again there were no individuals it saw, it only saw what was behind them. Existence Threat? Expansion Opportunity? Which? It had been long tracking their movements, their motivations or behaviors were irrelevant and not even possible for it to yet comprehend. Just that sensation of another Hive. Then there was a jolt to action.

Stage 1

Something latched onto the side of one of the star destroyers. A small thing, cloaked, it looked biological but it was too small to tell. Small. Always small, maybe the size of a single fighter or even large escape pod. A few more small pods or biological ships joined it at different points along the ship.

There was a breaching sound, and a hissssssssssssss from within the pod. Out came...

Adenn had been contacted by the Jen'Ari Empire to find and explore a ghost fleet. Said fleet had gone missing thanks to some strange creatures, creatures that Adenn and his men had never seen. The only images that were of the creatures were most peculiar. When Adenns "medics" had seen the image, they were impressed. Their prognosis was as follows. A large creature, designed to hunt. The teeth indicated that it could be good for ripping, possibly even strong enough to get through armor. The color of the skin indicates that the creature could be very stealthy, especially in dark spaces.

That information was distributed to all of the troops aboard the Aegis Eternum. Many scoffed at the thought, which creatures could be strong enough to get through Beskar. Everyone else though, they were wary. The possibility was there, and if they could get through their armor, they'd have to fight twice as hard, at least. Adenn himself was skeptical of the information, after all they could only see the mouth. However, the possibility was there. So Adenn would take the information, after all, it was the only info they had. With that in mind, Adenn found himself in the armory, along with his men. He ordered his men to get some heavy weapons, such as DLT-19s and A1 Vulcan rotary guns. Several also retrieved rocket launchers, grenade lanchers and thermal dets. Some even got flash bangs, others mocked them for it. After all, what could some light do against these creatures. They were silenced though when Adenn himself grabbed some. He also had his men grab some kinetic weapons. Who knew what these things were resistant too.

With all that in mind, Adenn made his way back to the bridge while his men made themselves to the hanger and drop area. Adenn arrived on the bridge just in time for them to come out of hyperspace. A quick scan of the system revealed not only their current allies, it showed the Ghost Fleet. It was massive, 14 star destroyers just hung in space. The sight was impressive, and Adenn idly wondered if he could keep one of the star destroyers once the mission was completed. He shook himself out of his thoughts, then he looked at the fleet and noted that some shuttles were headed towards the first star destroyer. Then Adenn looked at all of the Star Destroyers himself.

After careful consideration, Adenn decided to have his troops board the last star destroyer, Star Destroyer number 14, nicknamed the Archangel by the bridge crew. Adenn smiled at their antics, it was as good a name as any. Now though, he really hoped he'd be able to keep it. Ordering them to remain close by and ready with support. Then on his way down, Adenn remember something. The special boarding shields of Clan Mortui had just recently arrived aboard the Aegis Eternum. Quickly heading back to the armory, Adenn grabbed one for himself and had so more of his men come back and get some.

A few minutes later, Adenn found himself on board a shuttle headed to the Archangels main hanger bay. Looking around the shuttle again, Adenn noted the 2 squads of Mandalorians with him, as well as the 2 AT-ADs at the front of the shuttle. Alongside the Mandos were soem "medics," they had been given free reign to experiment with any creatures captured. This view was in all the other shuttles as well, except one. That one shuttle was filled with several AT-ADs. Adenn didn't know how well they'd fit in the corridors, but it could never hurt to have some with them. Turning away from the view, Adenn looked down at the datapd. The information from the scan was there, it was inconclusive, but better than nothing. There were signs of movement, but life signs were inconclusive. But movement signs, hopefully they were faulty, or else they would be in for one hell of a fight.

Once they finally reached the main hanger bay(MHB), the troops immediately spread out into the gloom. They exited the shuttles and entered the gloom of the Archangel. It was pitch black, with the only lights coming from the helmets of the Mandalorians and spotlights of the AT-ADs and shuttles. Adenn looked around before sighing to himself. This mission would be interesting to say the least. With his men looking around, the lights never fully stayed in one spot for long. That was until they heard a hiss. At that sound, nearly every single light went towards where they thought it had come from. Only to reveal nothing. Adenn shook his head before calling out
"Come on boys, cheer up. Whatever was here is probably dead. So let's get a move on and start searching this ship." After receiving several calls of "Yes sir!" they began to head out into the gloom.

As they walked towards the corridors, they spotted skeletons and bodies in several locations, and blood everywhere. It was disturbing to say the least. Once they reached the corridors, the AT-ADs and Mandos with shields took point, everyone else spread out behind them. Adenn himself was on point, with his helmet light on, his shield was attached to the shield of the man next to him, and his westar carbine was resting on the firing slit. The 2 squads from the shuttle were behind him, with one AT-AD at the back and one directly behind the shield wall. The AT-ADs had to crouch walk, but they managed, if only barely. It would help prevent any ambushes, hopefully. Though, throughout all this, Adenn was painfully aware that anything could be hiding in the dark. The lights only went so far, and night vision didn't quite do the job in this gloom. With his men and the AT-ADs behind him and next to him, Adenn should have felt like he could take on anything, instead, he only felt a sense of impending doom.

This was it, Felran's first true mission for the Jen'ari Empire. Felran should have felt nervous that he wouldn't be good enough, or fear for the creatures that he lacked any knowledge of. Instead Felran felt pride and determined to fulfill what the Emperor willed, and that alone would carry him Felran believed. These creatures, although he knew nothing about them, Felran did not fear them. They were just prey for an inevitable slaughter that Felran would carry out. Nothing could withstand the might of the Sith, especially not some simple animals. As the shuttle landed inside of the Star Destroyer Felran was the first to exit, quickly followed by a squad of troopers under his command. Felran looked around the landing site, it was quiet definitely but it almost seemed too quiet. The people aboard this ship were more than certainly long dead but there seemed to be no sign of the creatures that killed the crew. Perhaps they all died after 600 years? That was a hopeful thought but Felran doubted it "You will all stay with me, we do not know the full capabilities of these things and splitting off would surely get some of you killed." Felran emphasized the you when saying some could have died if they split. Felran was more than confident in his capabilities but he hadn't seen these sith troopers in action. Felran readied his double vibroblade, the weapon Felran used while he still lacked a proper lightsaber, and carefully proceeded into the ship.

Objective 3: Seek
Location: Boarding a Ship.

Out of the pod came…

A firstspawn. It's huge body and four arms ripping through the side of the ship and pulling the metal away. Anything standing between it and its task would not last. Investigate the ship. Find the cause of this curiosity within the Hive Mind. All the Swarm’s collective will felt the same, a sense of other, not of self. Several surge drones ran around the hole made by the orange firstspawn, running across the sides of the hallway.

Steps took her outward, through the ripped metal. The Swarm Mother scanned around for signs of life and petted one of her Drone’s jaw. Snapping her vision upward, she looked down the hallway. Her yellow, predatory eyes opened and closed, focusing in the low light. The exoskeleton across her body would be a familiar sight for another hive.

SEEK.

The swarm’s will was evident. She acted as a convergence node for its will to the others with her, even across this great distance, she was the focal point for its focus directives. A mind so vast she could only comprehend the will.

SEEK

Her drones ran ahead of her, and the huge orange firstspawn, with its four arms, and man-sized swords came behind. There would be nowhere to hide for these predators. Hunting Hunting. Her two talons pulled her along the ground, smashing down and piercing the metal below her, even before her feet touched the ground behind them. THUD THUD THUD across the belly of the ship like some spider taking short lunging jumps, ripping her path to her prey. Predator vs Predator. Soon to be tested.

Darth Rowe

Jen'ari Empire Imperial Hand

Darth Rowe didn't know what to expect, a Fleet missing for nearly 600 years, maybe longer. Well this would be interesting since the Empire was unsure of even what creatures were on these 14 ships. Rowe watched as her shuttle approached the ghost Fleet. Rowe didn't know what to think, it looked normal outside, but who knows what the inside looked like.

Rowe's shuttle landed in the Dark hangar, it was thrashed, Rowe informed the imperial trooper squad that was with her to keep a sharp eye out, she could sense a darkness among the ship. Rowe's first plan, get to the communications center of the ship and download all logs. Here we go.

image0.jpg

Adenn kept walking shoulder to shoulder with his men, his shield up. They were moving slowly, their guards up because of that feeling of being watched. None of them could explain it, but looking out from their formation, they saw movement. He didn't even know why he had made them take up this formation, after all, everything here was probably dead. He had even said that; but then again, better safe than sorry. However, when something screeched in the darkness, everyone was on edge. Using night vision, Adenn couldn't see anything down the hall, just what could've been movement. Deciding to disrupt the slight fear that was there, Adenn ordered his men to turn their lights on the max.

The lights flooded the corridor showing everything in the light. It showed the bloody corridor, a skeleton half crushed next to a doorway and finally the light showed it. Now it was some creature; the creature was black, blending in with the darkness, but not so much the light. It was tall, bipedal in nature and had sharp claws.

Once the creature was revealed, it hissed at them in the most terrifying way imaginable. Then it charged them. Adenn didn't even need to order his men to do anything; they all opened fire at once. The Mandos and the AT-ADs fired as one, with Adenn in the mix. As their shots flew down the corridor, the creature screeched again and another one emerged from a doorway screeching as well. Half the troops and one of the AT-ADs shifted their fire to the 2nd creature, while the others kept firing at the first one. Then, their shots hit the creatures. Most of the shots hit them, and it hardly affected them. Half the shots hit the head, and those shots just bounced off or were absorbed, leaving almost no mark to show the creatures had been hit. The rest of the shots hit the creatures in the body. Those shots that hit the body had more of an affect. Slowing down the creatures, and causing some bleeding.

Once the bolts hit, the creatures screeched again. They were not pleased. The first one jumped up towards the ceiling before pushing off down towards the shield wall. The second creature simply ran straight toward the wall.
image0.gif

They both hit the shield wall at the same time, the entire time taking fire from all the troops. Adenn had the distinct displeasure of having one of the creatures slam against his shield, the other one hit the shield wall at the end of the formation. Combined, they knocked the entire wall back by a foot; that's how hard they hit.

Grunting from the exertion, Adenn pushed back yelling at his men.
"PUSH! Hold them back!. Shoot these things!"
And with that, they stopped the creatures from pushing them backwards. Sadly, this didn't stop the things from trying to attack. The creature pushing against Adenns shield tried to bite him. Not in the traditional sense, no, a little head popped out of the things mouth and attacked Adenn. The attack was so sudden that Adenn couldn't even try to dodge. Thankfully though, the creatures little mouth thing only bit onto his helmet. There, the attack simply skidded off. At that, the creature seemed confused, tilting its head to the side and looking at Adenn quizzically.

Adenn for his part didn't give the creature a chance to do anything else, instead punching it straight in the nose, right above the mouth. The creature reared back on its feet howling. It was immediately shot once more, prompting it to hiss. It was bleeding profusely now, both of the creatures were. Suddenly, they both screeched before running back down the corridor, blaster bolts chasing them all the way. Shocked by the encounter, the troops didn't chase them. Instead, they stopped and those with shields placed them in fixed positions so that they could be used as cover.

Adenn looked around at his men; they all seemed fine, a few scratches here and there. By far, his "scratch" was the worst thing that had happened to them. The shields had done their job, the beskar having held well. Scratches were criss-crossed across the surfaces of the shields. Adenn peered at the new scar on his helmet. It went from right above his T-visor, to the middle of the cheek on the right side of his helmet. Then, looking at his men, Adenn saw the scars on the other shield bearer that had also taken the brunt of the attack. He had some scratches on his shoulder pads, along with a similar scar on his helmet.

Turning to his men, Adenn spoke up. They were all shaken, and looked like they could use a little pep talk.
"Listen up men." They leaned forward expectantly while keeping a wary eye out to the darkness. "We just beat back some creatures we've never seen before. Sure, we didn't kill them. But we sure as hell bloodied them. Since they bled, that means they can be killed. Now that we have seen what we are facing, we know what to expect. So, let's go kill us some critters. Be ready for anything, if those 2 survived, more probably did as well. You never know. Besides, at the end of this all, we'll all have some more trophies to show to our kids." A cry of "Oya" went up from them before they turned back getting ready to move out once more.

Before turning back to his shield as well, Adenn sent the video of the attack to the rest of his forces. Along with them, he had his shuttle pilots send the videos to the others boarding the various other ships. Along with the video came the caption, Be ready for them, for they are ready for us. With that done, Adenn turned around and picked his shield up. Then, they all started their march once more.

They came under assault three minutes after their arrival. The lights in the corridor they were in had long since lost all power, and the boarding party advanced lit entirely by helmet lights. The first few Legionaries in the column simply vanished into the darkness, not even screams coming from within the shadows. At once the rest of the party raised their blasters, and suddenly crimson bolts were illuminating the corridor, where dozens of the alien filth were charging at them from. The firing line killed several of them, before the fight turned into a brutal, bloody melee. The armor of the legionaries was strong, and their ferocity nearly matched that of the aliens, but they were doomed to be overwhelmed. Animus had no such issues.

He wove his way through the melee, his lightsabers searing through limbs and bodies left and right as he pushed his way forward. A small bubble of pure Force energy surrounded him, protecting him from the blood of the beasts as he drove forward, the Legionaries still standing forming a spearhead behind him. They slowly drove the attacking horde in two, before crushing them utterly in the fight. The few survivors fled back into the darkness of the corridor, though Animus ordered his forces to hold. Of the fifty troops he had brought, barely a dozen still stood. These creatures were too dangerous to engage like this. Turning back to the men, Animus began issuing brief orders.

"Withdraw back to the transport. Establish a defensive line there and call for reinforcements. Do not let them get near the shuttle, at all costs you must defend it. I shall bring main power back online, and regroup with you there." The Legionaries did not question Animus, simply turning and jogging back down the corridor they had come down. Turning back around, Animus walked down the corridor still littered with the bodies of both Imperial and alien, making his way towards the main generator room. At the end of the hall, one of the aliens pounced at Darth Animus, keen to take him by surprise and end him. It found itself held aloft in the air, Animus turning to regard it briefly before closing his fist, watching it explode in a wave of blood and gore that tore into the ship itself. He disgarded the body of the alien, and made his way towards the service corridors.

Objective II
Ship #14

Rocho sat meditating as he waited to arrive. He had heard somewhat of the situation. How the ships had come out here, and the crew had been eliminated. He felt it would be the perfect place to obtain some notable Jagannath points, and possibly some good trophies or equipment from what was left. Meditating was perhaps a bit of an odd concept to other Trandoshans, but it was something that Rocho had found could considerably help him in upcoming hunts and battles. Focusing his abilities, his awareness, even his strength, to further his quest.

He opened his eyes as he arrived, he'd enter alone but he knew there were others on the ship. Though not exactly who else would be here. He would keep them in mind but it was less important who it was so much as that they were considered to not be targets, allies at best, rivals at worst. Hopefully they would give him the same politeness and not try and kill him to gain more. As the hatch opened for him and he entered he had to take a moment to appreciate the infrared vision and force sensitivity he'd been born with. They held such an advantage at moments like this.

He began to walk, his steps he kept as light as possible. He was armed to the teeth. Shield gauntlet on on arm, Vibro-brace on the other, light armor, Tempest in hand, shotgun at his side, Force pike on his back but ready to be in hand at a moments notice. As he walked and turned a corner he suddenly felt a presence, then there was a hissing and warning, he raised the weapon and fired the moment the creature was in site, it was black and made him thank of an eel mixed with an insect as he fired at its head. The creature was thrown back by the force and scurried away, there was a sizzling and the stench of it finally reached him. The thing survived a blast directly to the head from a freaking grenade. That was impressive and unexpected, on the one hand it made it better for points, on the other this was not going to be easy if there were enough of them. He walked up the sizzling and glanced to the side where it had run off, was that...it's blood? Alright then, he clenched his claws, "Definitely need to avoid getting one of those on me." he reminded himself quietly and began following after it.

It was like he could sense it, but then it would pull away again. At least he knew he'd hurt it, but still, it didn't seem to be hurt quite enough. He had to wonder if the blast scared it more then actually damaged it. The hissing it had made earlier made him hope it would be a little easier to predict their moves...right until he sensed danger and heard a scrap. Realization dawned as he turned around just in time to leap backwards as a claw skipped just so near to his face. He dropped the Tempest and kicked the creature in the stomach, it may be massive but it was a slender creature and would be light enough to force backwards whether or not it was strong. Unfortunately it also had that tail which seemed to really help it maintain balance. He switched to the shotgun which was at reach much easier and fired off both shots right into it's chest just before it sent him flying.

He slammed into a wall a few feet behind with a painful grunt and pulled out the force pike, "Try that again!" he challenged rushing forwards, it tried to bat away his pike and he turned it to cut into it's hand forcing it to withdraw and the put all his force forwards putting it on its highest setting. Getting thrown against a wall proved it was strong, very much so, and it was very balanced as proven by barely doing more then skidding from his kick. But with all his focus aiding his strength and his claws pushing against the ground and walls he pushed it back against the wall the pike digging into its chest and sending shocks through its body something he noticed seemed to be excruciating far more then the grenade had been. Even as he slammed it against the wall it fought back, it's claws couldn't reach it but it's tail slid through the armor on his shoulder far to quickly before he rammed himself forwards further feeling its spine sever with the effort before withdrawing and flicking the pike to get the acid off. Thank goodness, the shielding on its edge had saved it for now. But he'd have to keep in mind that acid. The beast fell to the ground finally and he wasted no time grabbing Tempest and his shotgun, reloading it but now keeping tempest in one hand and pike in the other. It learned. Sure he'd run into creature that did that before, people too, but most of those couldn't handle nearly as much as it did. He didn't feel like facing this unprepared next time.

He looked at the creature, in thought, yeah, this was the same one as earlier. It's head had marks of the explosion but not nearly as deep as he'd like. Got it, don't aim for the head. It...also didn't seem to have any eyes. "This is promising." he said to himself. He'd killed on now, so he knew what to look out for. That acid was gonna be one of the biggest issues here, he could probably handle them much easier now that he saw their weakness to the pike. But that blood would make everything far more complicated. He looked at the tail again and then at his armor, it cut far too easily, and so cleanly. He stepped forwards turning on the weapon again and slamming it down hacking off the tail and grabbing it by an end flicking and squeezing it to get out the blood. "Could be bigger, but I can definitely use this for something." he said to himself.

He started to walk again, holding the tail out so that if it did drip any further it wouldn't be on him or his equipment. He kept searching, both for other creatures, and for other people. They were tough enough in one on one combats. But to take out a whole ship he really had to wager there were a good few of them on here. And he was starting to feel rather concerned, he didn't like the idea of getting any of that acid on him. Or feel like getting cut up today. He kept his footsteps quiet, and kept his mind open, trying to watch for any more creatures and sense any danger. But also trying to find any potential allies. He wasn't exactly bothered by being a loner, but there was a difference between doing it normally, and doing it when you're outnumbered and fighting something that can handle a grenade to the head.

Objective: Gather information about the death of the crew members, and scout out any potential threats

After Rexus had been briefed by the FIA director Vampis Noros, he was send to aid Adenn in his mission. He had managed to get a ride in his ship as he hated taking military transports(too cluttered).

After the groups first encounter he was frightened but intrigued by the beast. It had appeared out of nowhere and was very agile, not only that but there was no source of reference in the FIA database about such a creature. He spoke to himself quietly pondering about its means of creation.

"This beast is to powerful to have been formed naturally. It must be an artificial creation. A Sith-spawn perhaps."
After hearing Adenns speech he approached him

"These beasts are truly a worthy foe, how did you damage it. where there any weak spots or vulnerabilities."
He spoke inquisitively.
While awaiting an answer he pulled out his rifle, and turned it off safety, loading up a fresh clip.

Pyktis found the source of the hiss and activated his night vision. What he saw surprised him, shocked him.

Pyktis saw it's saliva dropping then heard burning. Pyktis looked down to see the saliva was burning the metal, it was acidic. Pyktis looked up and activated his lightsaber into it's mouth. But the blade didn't penetrate the creatures head. Oh kriff Pyktis whispered. The creature swung around a bone like tail hitting Pyktis throwing him down the hall dropping his lightsaber. Laying on his back Pyktis threw an arm out creating a wave of force lightning from his finger tips. The creature stopped and squealed in pain. While attacking it with lightning Pyktis used the force to bring his lightsaber up and rush it through the creatures center cutting it in half. The creature collapsed into two pieces as Pyktis stopped his lightning.

Pyktis caught his saber deactivated it and stood up. He walked to the creature examining it. He noticed only the head was lightsaber proof. Pyktis quickly activated his lightsaber cutting the tail off then deactivated his saber putting it on it's belt. Pyktis reached down and picked up the large spear like bone tail examining it. Maybe this will have more affect on them. Pyktis took the dagger tail and stepped over the dead creature. Pyktis continued down the hall then turned into a room he found.

It was a dark room, very little light but that made sense since only emergency power was online. The room looked like a store room, but there was blood everywhere. It was a true nightmare scene. But then Pyktis felt it. He wasn't alone, he could feel another creature in the room. A hiss then out of the shadows it leaped out. Pyktis quickly turned and shoved the bone tail into it's skull. It actually worked, the acid on the tail melted the hide away to stab them in the head. Pyktis ripped the bone tail out and the creature flopped to the floor dead. Pyktis took out his lightsaber and cut the tail off of the new creature then put his lightsaber away. Pyktis now had a bone tail for each hand as he exited the room.

After the message had been sent out, Adenns group had begun to move forward. Though now, they were far more wary, double checking every angle and every crevice. Their helmets lights were sweeping back and forth, searching for anything and everything that was out of place. Adenn himself was keeping his head on a swivel. He had been replaced by one of his men in the shield wall. Now he was walking right behind the shield wall. It was here that Rexus approached him. Adenn listened to the question, the entire time they were walking forward, continuing their march. Once Rexus finished speaking, Adenn turned his head slightly to observe the Trandoshan, then he spoke.
"Damaged it? Haha. We may have hurt it, but mainly because we outnumbered it. Those things can learn. The next time they attack us will be in greater number, and they will be ready for us. Personally, I just punched it in the nose, right above the mouth. That had an affect on it, because right after that they fled. Though I wonder if it may have been because of something greater."

It was at that moment that a hiss was heard right above Adenn. Assuming it to be the creature from before, Adenn stepped to the side. It was indeed the creature from before, or at least a creature similar to them. the creature looked at him in surprise, most likely in the fact that he had dodged the attack. It made to move, but Adenn gave it no chance to do so. He immediately attacking the thing. Using his flamethrower, Adenn lit the entire creature on fire. It squealed in pain and jumped at Adenn. He was barely quick enough, only just managing to get beside it. That however proved to be a bad move, because the creature used its tail to swing at him, hoping to cut him in half. Adenn didn't let the creature do that though.

The creature, now lit up on fire, attacked once more. This time though, Adenn was ready and jumped onto its back. That really got the thing mad, and it swung its tail once more. Whatever the reason, Adenn was able to move himself so that the tail slid off of his armor. Rather than impale him, it just cut him a bit before stabbing itself into the owners body. The thing squealed in pain once more before Adenn stabbed it in the neck with his lightsaber. Then it was finally dead. Slowly getting up off of the creature, Adenn panted. While the fight had been relatively short, and fast enough that no one could help, it was still intense. Slowly getting his breath under control, Adenn examined the body of the creature. Then noted the stab wound of his lightsaber, so they were resistant but not immune. And they most certainly weren't immune to themselves.

With that though, Adenn pulled the tail out of its body with a splash of acid. he then used his lightsaber to cut the tail off. It would prove useful, especially if it could kill so readily. Then turning back to his group, and Rexus, Adenn spoke.
"Well then. Let's get a move on." Turning to Rexus, "Now you know another weakness of these things." He hefted the tail. "They suck at fighting themselves." With that said, Adenn began moving once more with his men.

Rocho was more careful this time, now that he knew the shotgun was far less effective, the head was the hardest part, and electricity was a fantastic weapon, he had some good ideas to run with. He didn't need to kill them right off the bat, considering the reaction to getting hit by the electricity a nonlethal originally blow might be enough to subdue it quickly then take it out, that tail was the only real issue in regards to the use of his pike. It was moments like these he realized a lance wouldn't have been an awful choice, that extra reach would make it almost impossible for the creature to even be a threat to him on its own. Oh well, nothing to do about that now.

He received a message, and took a quick look at it, a video from a boarding party in regards to the creature. They had done well enough apparently. It occurred to him perhaps sharing what he had learned wouldn't be terrible either, on the other hand, he was alone right now and didn't feel like using an extra hand to get the message out about their weakness to electricity. He put the tail he had cut off into his belt after scrubbing it against a wall to see if there was anything left, that would be useful later now that it was completely dried up. It was sharp and tough, make a good knife or dagger. Not really his fighting style but he could use it as a tool or if he was in a really bad situation. Course he could give it a handle that would make it hold more in a fist style so it more resembled hand to hand combat then that of a dagger.

He breathed in, stench. But...he couldn't sense one, but...there was something there. He could feel that much. Other boarders perhaps. His pike in one hand and tempest in the other he considered his course of action, should it be a creature he thought he would have felt it. Oh, those were voices he could hear now. Not a lot of talking but that was definitely a voice he heard a moment ago. Somewhere nearby.

Rocho's kept walking, he strapped the tempest to his back. If it was a surprise attack the pike would serve better, sever the limbs would be the easiest move. Or pull what he had last time. The Tempest was just too chancy in this type of location. He thought about pulling up his communicator to send out a signal that he was near somebody but reconsidered it. He wanted to do it to avoid dragging attention of too many creatures as compared to speaking aloud or trying to follow the feeling of others, but he realized it'd still make noise and would put him in a bad position if one managed to sneak up on him.

Instead he started trying to follow the feeling, they had to be close, there were a good few of them. Had to be another party. Well they had been talking earlier, so he might as well do it now and get it over with, "This is Rocho Krul, are you another boarding party?" he asked just loud enough to make sure it would travel somewhat. His voice was deep and seemed to have a kind of rasp which was pretty typical for his species. Still, the words were clear.

He just needed a response he kept an eye out around every corner, and was feeling for anyone and any threats as well, trying to get closer and closer to the group.

Ship 13

Ashara under any circumstances was not going to be overwhelmed, The Sorcererous was going to be prepared, she had summoned a legion of forces, devided into two groups. One party of her Dusuah, along with her mighty sith Murauders. Ashara divided the two into parties, both would have to work together under her control, her herself having the lead.

Her shuttle already landing in the docking bay, relaying her orders to her assemble. Her orders were to secure engineering, and restore power and find out what happened, and to destroy any opposition. She sensed a massive disturbance in the force. With a sly smile speaking to herself.

“Finally something hideous”

One party of six, three murauders and three sorcerers flanked down one hallway, while she took six others devided much the same. She hoped this advisory would live up to her expectations. The screech of her light saber ignited, echoing through the ship, her mind focused she felt the connection with her comrades.

“Be aware of any disturbances, act fast and quickly, by what ever means necessary” She spoke through telepathy.

Darth Malice listened in over the comms as she read the holo-pad about the situation. Missing ships and an unknown species in deep space felt highly intriguing.
As she took in the information about this species she looked at the image of it over and over as her ship neared one of the floating star destroyers. Looking at her pad, this one was called the Chimaera and held a lot of history behind it. It had been present for the Battle of Endor, a planet that to her sounded very boring. Now here it was and she was tasked with going about and supporting the troops she was with into reclaiming the ship from these new aliens.

"Approaching the Chimaera now." she reported as her carrier landed and opened up revealing the dark dead corridors. "Looks just like the reports, dead and adrift. It feels so dead here and yet I can feel something scittering around the hull." She walked beside the troops and tilted her head reached out with the force attempting to feel where these creatures might be. She had no luck however and decided to continue deeper into the ship.

Jack was far from a naval commander but he at least had an idea of what he was dong when crawling around in ships, usually he was shooting his way though it, but for now at least he was here with a Blackwing crew to get the destroyers in working order well enough to get them to a shipyard for a proper refit and overhaul. Because of the nature of ghost ships Jack didn't trust them there was always something wrong with them, no one, absolutely no one abandoned working ships in space, the crew would have to be insane to not scuttle them so something had to be wrong, every tech crew had four man fire team with them from the 22nd Besiegers, one shotgun, one flame projector, and two blaster rifles, that way regardless of what was encountered there was a good all around chance at fending it off, but at least to start things seemed clear as shuttles brought a few crews in and Jack started making his way towards the bridge.

Jack took a breath in though his nose, the air in the ancient destroyer was nasty and stuffy, though still mostly breathable, that meant that life support wasn't going to be a necessity for the at least the immediate survival of the crews and things could be spread out a little more and get the whole ship online much quicker. With Jack was two fire teams, a group of engineers, and an Imperial Navy bridge crew to drive the mother karker if the engineers could get it working. The entire situation had Jack on edge, and not just his usual on edge about ghost ships something was extra "my Sith scenes are tingling" wrong, so Jack had his lightsabers in hands for when something inevitably when mammaries vertical.

Darth Malice continued deeper within the halls of the Chimaera, occasionally the troops would branch off and check side rooms and check for anything of use, data-pads of what happened or any possible research material that they could save to use later. Malice turned around quickly as she felt something zip past quickly behind them. Using her assassin skills she used the force the muffle her footsteps and slowly and carefully went to the source of the sound. It was then that something small with multiple appendages came flying out at her. Using the force she quickened herself and held the creature in the air in front of her suspended in the air, the appendages and tail on it whipped about frantically. It was then she heard gunfire and screams coming from her soldiers in the other room. She tightened her outstretched hand into a fist and watched as the creatures cracked and started to fold in on itself before she released it and let it drop to the floor. Carefully she noticed the creatures blood had caused the hull of the ship to erode away "The reports were right, its blood is highly corrosive."

She went back to rejoin her team but found one of the side rooms covered in blood, the pain they felt as they died hit her like a brick wall and she exhaled in excitement. What ever it was on this ship, it was an efficient and beautiful killer. She wanted this creature so badly to use toi experiment on.
