LFG Getting Out There

[Silya Thrast]

Curse my impulsive, sleep deprived brain, but I gotta do this, lol

A little about the character: Silya is currently a young wanderer in her twentieth year, venturing out into the galaxy from the imperial community that she was born, raised, and trained in (read: she was trained as an imperial knight), to see what else is out there. She's a little vindictive when a bee gets in her bonnet (so to speak), and a bit rough around the edges, and though she's a trained force user, she suffers from a lack of practical experience and exposure. She is light-leaning. She is more of a skeptic than an idealist.

What that all means is she'll have different reactions to different characters, depending on their attitude, and if they're a Force User, their alignment/use of the Force - Neutral/light-leaning/lightside characters may have a better chance of developing a reasonable rapport with her; for criminals that's far, far, far less likely.

Darksiders... there will automatically be a problem.

Mandalorians? It entirely depends on the Mandalorian. You meet one Mando, you've met... one Mando.

Imperials? Again, it depends.

All in all, I'm wanting to see if I can get this character running/work out her muse, so I'm looking for one thread at a time, as that's all I can handle right now with my other commitments. This can be almost anything - an impromptu team-up (mission) or an unexpected fight (duel) for a couple ideas - with almost anyone, so long as it has a decent plot.

Don't think Shan's ever actually interacted with anything Imperial related so it could be neat to have him find out more about that part of the Galaxy. He's super light side I suppose, rarely got a bad bone in his body.

So yeah! Just dropping my interest. No rush for a thread though. I'm always content to wait!

Could be an interesting interaction between her and laphisto, considering his militaristic demeanor while being a light leaning force user though not afraid to dwell on both sides of the force as he perceives true balance is being able to channel both sides of the same coin

If you want to clash your skeptic against an idealist/someone who views the force more through a spiritual lens, dealing with a Mando that isn't quite much a Mando but getting back into it, an on again off again Imperial (as in Empire of the Lost) (Shout out my mans Laphisto ) and someone who also leans more towards the Light Side out of habit and principle, Kebii's your Lasat!

Firstly, sorry for the wait, y'all - I hit a stretch of rather low energy days where I was about as useful as a chocolate tea kettle, but I'm climbing out of that now.

Secondly, I see a nice mix of people I've written with before and people I haven't; nonetheless, there's something that interests me/pulls me in about each of your characters! ^_^

1. A human? It slips my mind sometimes that you have and do write them, lol, but I think there definitely could be some fun dialogue, given his background!
2. That new setting looks SO COOL! It'd be interesting to figure out why Silya ends up going there/how she ends up there! And aside from her... I wanna play in it!
3. I've always enjoyed your characters, and writing with you. Easy first choice!

I've gained an appreciation for Shan, and have enjoyed reading the character a great deal as I've come across his posts, but I've never had the opportunity to write with you or any of your other characters, I think! A shame! I'd be very interested to thread when I have space for it, and I'd be happy to be part of his introduction to an unfamiliar facet of the galactic landscape!

Militaristic and light-leaning/lightside scratches the same itch in my brain that religious lightside zealotry does (iykyk), but it's Laphisto's dwellings on balance, and the implication of using the darkness in that, which would be what makes this interesting. Discussion/debate/learning is very much of interest to me across all these possible threads, and I'm definitely interested in what will happen from interacting with someone less... wholly set against the dark end of the force spectrum.

A skeptic and an idealist, an atheist and a spiritualist? A lukewarm? Mando, who's also an indecisive Imperial? Oh, I daresay this would be interesting. I'm honestly not sure how this will shake out, and that uncertainty is exciting!

Oh, you bet your ass we will! Knowing what I know now about Yuri and his background, I'm interested in seeing what an interaction between him and Sil would look like. The only Mando (and only non-imperial) she's met so far was one she ran into on a hunt a couple years ago... who it ended up was tracking down the same thief she was after!

An android and a slicer? I'm not sure what would put them in each other's company, but that only makes me all the more interested in finding out when the time comes, lol - I've read some of what you've written with Saul and I like your writing so far.
