DESCRIPTION
Gets'ragr, or Lightning Lance, is one of the few gifts given to Laira by her parents when she was young. Made from phrik and crafted by Draco Vereen, a well-known blacksmith and craftsman, its a simple but dangerous weapon. She uses it as her primary close combat weapon and carries it almost everywhere.
The weapon makes use of Molecular Compression Technology, something Draco had experience working with from several other projects. The haft of the weapon is able to elongate and compress in a short time frame, allowing her to adjust its length during a fight. This was done partially to make it easy to carrier on her belt or in a jacket while she frequents ports and shadowports across the galaxy.
It is made from Phrik, which is known for its resilience and lightsaber resistance, further enhanced by the use of Art of the Small and master-craftsmanship to provide the small blade of the spear with an edge that would never dull or blunt through use (Except in special circumstances). This has no benefit other than reducing the upkeep needed to maintain the weapon to effectively none.
