Gender: Female
Height: 1.72 meters

Eye Color: Brown
Hair: Raven

Immediately noticeable (when not wearing colored contacts): the marble-white eye on the right of her face. This is Lasedri's trademark of sorts, which she has maintained despite being presented with the opportunity to have her iris' coloration completely repaired while her face was mended. Her opposite eye, however, is in its original condition--a rusty brown.
Her jaw is hard and resilient, its very sharp contour symbolic of her obstinate personality. A disinterested frown makes itself at home across her narrow lips, and her eyebrows have settled at a scornful angle above her concave and impertinent nose. Precisely cut, straight, raven-black hair frames her head, unless she is in hiding--in which case, hair color may vary.

Her figure is healthy but quite mundane in feature--straight and lean but not necessarily slender, and with few features to catch the eye.
While Benefactor to the Rebellion, a sobering, black trenchcoat almost always swayed from Lasedri's shoulders to her shins. Now, as Prime Minister to the Galactic Republic, she is most commonly seen dressed in white, and quite easily identified by her habitual sunhat.

+ Tenacity } A few broken bones, a multitude of scars, and a slashed eye bear witness to her resilience.
+ Evasive maneuvering } Gen knows how to hide and stay hidden.
+ Self-defense } Gen is a kickboxer and also knows her grapples and holds.
+ Manipulation } Always clawing for an advantage, Gen attempts to gain control of situations through intimidation and psychological tricks.

= Disenchanted } 'World-weary', Lasedri is far from materialistic, yet is emotionally apathetic.
= Militant } Gen believes the only way to solve some problems is to use deadly force.
- Lone wolf complex } Gen has almost no friends and really does not intend on pursuing friendships either. Paranoia is quite evident in her behavior, and her usually cavalier demeanor can be off-putting at best.
- Callous } Having grown up with the 'silver spoon', Gen likes to portray herself as someone to be reckoned with and plays up her social authority and tough girl act. She is somewhat of a narcissist.

- Pride } All of it.
Chandrilan red wine } Eventually, everyone must find a way to cope.

Geneviève Echo Lasedri was the heiress to the owner of a powerhouse Chandrilan communications and entertainment company… once upon a time. She sat upon the laps of actors and actresses, traveled to exotic destinations in luxury, wore all the prettiest clothes, and even controlled the content of a holochannel specifically designed to satisfy her demographic's viewing pleasures.

And she hated it all. The routines, the impractical garments, their snooty 'friends', the redundant holo programming--all of this she despised. She also despised--and feared--anything that had to do with cameras, having been stalked by the media all her childhood and having personally seen the servers and droids that eternally monitor and process data they obtain on the citizenry through the feeds--some of which are provided via her father's company. She became a rebellious child and received endless criticism from the media for her 'trashy' presentation and her daily firearms practice. Her father never seemed to stay home for long, and she and her mother never got along. It was a rare event for the Lasedri clan to share a meal together. There was no love.

Enough was enough. The day after her eighteenth birthday, Geneviève rejected her inheritance in exchange for a massive allowance deposited into her bank account each month, which will one day be cut off upon her parents’ deaths. She disappeared into the ranks of nameless mercenaries, basking in anonymity while seeking a new thrill out of each job.

Her dangerous occupation would soon apply its consequences, however. The renegade heiress was captured during a botched mission with a mercenary squad, and her captors managed to identify her and held her for ransom, threatening to give her an acid bath if the money was not transferred. Fortunately, the local police pulled a midnight miracle, but not until after one of the villains had sliced her eye while threatening to cut her face open. She was welcomed back by her family, but Lasedri would never return.

Later on, Geneviève was discovered by the Jedi Master [member="Hasjo Hallu"], who revealed to her that she was able to see through broader 'eyes' because of her connection to the Force. While he failed to expand on this, Lasedri has begun to seek out a mentor to clarify and develop her capabilities. Eventually, she did have her blind eye operated on and can now see through both eyes--though she insisted on maintaining the glassy white iris.

Gen has always swum against the current, though--for the most part--less out of sincere conviction and more out of the desire to feel good about herself. She joined the Galactic Liberation Collective for this reasoning and made it a small project of hers, accomplishing her checklist of good deeds while she freed slaves and brought justice to their captors. Still, she committed various questionable acts, even killing slavers who had already surrendered. She began to play the role of judge and executioner.

Out of this mindset sprung her organization known as the Rebel Alliance, intended as the collective judge and executioner of the empires that rise and oppress the denizens of the galaxy. Having been on Coruscant during the latter days of the Sith invasion, she was witness to the death and destruction that was wrought by the zealous conquerors and set forth to establish resistance forces on the world--the first step of her then-tiny Rebellion. A long, difficult journey spanning the extents of the galaxy would follow as she picked up and rallied selfless soldiers and shadowy agents to the fight against the new wave of tyranny, picking fights here-or-there. Over the course of her days as Benefactor to the Rebel Alliance, Lasedri acquired two sizable bounties on her head, which she continues to carry proudly.

Geneviève considers herself to be a representative of the silenced voices, fighting oppression and Imperialism zealously. It was during her time as Benefactor that she penned the foundations of a form of government known as Selectivism. Under the pseudonym of Viola Tave, she outlined a system based on free choice, but with emphasis on communal worker values. She hopes to implement this someday on a large scale as an alternative to more nationalist systems.

Trouble was brewing at home by this time, however, and Lasedri was not content to watch as the One Sith mowed through Republic territory and edged dangerously close to her homeworld. Taking a huge gamble, she inserted herself into the race for the Republic's Chief of Senate as the underdog, and found her charismatic reformist agenda and proactive military stance to be one that skyrocketed her popularity in a matter of days. She won the election and has served as Chief of Senate up until the Netherworld occurrences, when a change in government structure was necessary and she became the first Prime Minister of the Galactic Republic.

Geneviève stood steadfast through the seemingly eternal war with the One Sith, a dauntless political figure and a stringent advocate for complete economic dedication to the military. Through her term, she formed a friendship with the Jedi Grandmaster, Corvus Raaf, and together they had hoped to guide the Republic to victory or die trying.

With political slander, lethargic political process, and treasonous dealings within the Senate itself all bearing their teeth on the staunch Minister, she decided to take matters into her own hands. In an effort to perfect the political model she had born the foundations to, and aiming to ultimately return the Republic to its rightful status as a superpower while eliminating the Sith Order once and for all, Geneviève hatched a plan with Patricia Garter, CEO of Spaarti. Garter had been developing a clone army for the Republic, and despite Lasedri's reservations against what she considered to be a sentient rights violation, she begrudgingly instated the Republic's Clone Army.

The weight of the galaxy was on her shoulders. Despite continuous setbacks in the war against the Sith, Lasedri sensed a silver lining as the clone Army and Republic Navy exhibited newfound fervor. She signed into law her own Black Flag Order: a strangely controversial command for all Sith Lords to be shot on sight when encountered. As further slander proceeded from the mouths of her political dissidents on the 'war crimes' associated with the Black Flag Order--despite the Senate's own apathy towards overturning such a surprisingly controversial law--the Raven of Chandrila decided it was time to wield a more iron fist. She was now fully convinced in the fallacy of democracy.

Coordinating with Garter, Lasedri instigated a false flag scenario that triggered a clause in Republic law, allowing her to shut down the Senate and take over the military. Her coup was successful in the short-term, immediately elevating herself to the self-appointed position of General Secretary and transforming the Republic's charter to her Selectivist model. Several large companies removed themselves from Republic space or rebelled, and Lasedri dispatched special forces to take over any abandoned facilities and insurrectionist hives. Imperial officers from the Republic's provided sanctuary were seized and brought to Chazwa to be executed by firing squads, publicly judged for falsified charges of treachery per Geneviève's wishes.

All hell broke loose following. No one knows entirely what happened or how any of it logically could be verified. But the Selectivist government was toppled within weeks when Corvus Raaf and Faith Organa confronted the rogue Prime Minister. However, they failed to detain her, and she managed to flee the Republic capital and disappear with the help of her cousin, Corvetta Salvo.

In exile, Geneviève remained a controversial figure in Republic history. Most see her as a power-hungry traitor bent only on increasing her own fortune and ego. Still, others see her as a misguided heroine who did all in her power to protect civilization from the horrendous Sith invaders.

Perhaps the only person who knows her true spirit is Geneviève Lasedri herself.

I'd like to see you start a rebellion on my turf (No really, I do, I think it would be fun.)
And when I capture you, we'll have plenty to talk about, like how I can make your life easier.

Nice character

Seriously well developed character and I love the formatting of the post. It allowed me to focus solely on each area without distraction of skipping around to learn all "the important stuff" only. Good ****ing job. :)
