DESCRIPTION

Though Gel remains most at home in his forge, he has zero qualms about following his brothers and sisters into battle, so that he can best support them from the front lines during times of war. However, it quickly became apparent to Gel that he would need some kind of way to carry the various tools and supplies needed to make emergency armor repairs in the field. His solution was craft a bandolier that would allow him to do just that.

Gel Karn 's Bandolier allows him to carry a variety of different tools and supplies into the thick of battle. He an carry six tools on the bandolier's front strap, six tools on its rear strap and additional tools or supplies within the large back hanging off the bottom of the bandolier. Because the bandolier hangs off the shoulder and across the chest, it is unobtrusive for Gel to carry, keeping his hands free, and allows him to quickly retrieve tools from the bandolier's front strap or bottom hanging bag, though tools sitting on the rear strap are more awkward for Gel to grab.

Though a vitally important piece of equipment for Gel, the bandolier should by no means be mistaken for armor, as it affords Gel very little protection against most kinds of attack. Gel must wear the bandolier over armor should he wish to protect himself, and the tools that he carries on it or within it can potentially be damaged by enemy fire, which is why he always keeps a Multi-Tool on him should one of his more specialized tools become unusable for any reason.
