Description: The GE-EMD is a relatively small, lightweight droid that is intended to be used in situations where EMP deployment is necessary to disable targets without causing loss of life. These droids, due to the nature of their payload, are only able to be utilized on a single target, as the EMP charge will immediately destroy their own sensitive electronics within the frame. The droid is constructed using a lightweight hexapod frame, allowing it to move at a high speed, reaching upwards of 75 kph. Within the body of the droid is housed the EMP charge, consisting of a capacitor bank, high-powered batteries, an insulator, expandable copper tube, stator coil, a small explosive and detonator, and a dielectric structural jacket. These droids can be programmed via remote or utilizing the uplink terminal port directly on the droid.
