The GBG-7416 is a new approach for Whimsy, the company responsible for many children's birthday parties and a creator of uncommon means of mass destruction.
The initial use of the GBG-7416 was purely pharmaceutical, to help shape shifting friends stop from shifting while doctors had to operate on them as they returned injured from battles. Its entire purpose was to block the body's cells from shifting, and it seemed like applying it via spray was the simplest way to go about it. Only after it was complete did the battle-application potential of the spray set in. However, to date, it has not been used outside of the hospitals on the Scintilla.
The creation of the GBG-7416 has opened a new venue for Whimsy, who are currently looking into more pharmaceutical ideas and creations.
