- Description: The Gashadu is a large reptilian/bird like beast, similar in resemblance to the Naboo Kaadu, standing relatively tall, with a long frill along their neck and bone like plating over their head and along their back. Tie mouth having a beak like shape, useful for uprooting and cutting through foliage with ease as well as fending off threats. It is also noted that all Gashadu suffer from some abnormality with their front arms, seeming to come to a stump. It has been theorized that the poisoning and contamination from the mining companies of the past lead to these birth defects as it is not known why a beast you have stumpy arms for anything.

- Skin color: Light/Dark Brown (darkness with age)
- Hair color: They do not have hair but the frill on their back is usually white or light grey, male ones having more prominent frills, most likely to attack a mate.
- Distinctions: Their reptilian form and armored like body sets the Gashadu apart from most other two legged beasts, though it is in no way strange or overly unique. Males are easily recognizable by their frill Mohawk like structure on the back of their head, though bot male and female share this trait it is larger and more distinct on the males. Such grows larger with age, the elders of the herds having the largest. A similar attribute comes with their skin which slowly darkens from a very light brown to a more shaded brown as they get older, mimicking the colour of dirt.
- Races: Though not direct allocation has been made the beasts seem similar to the Nabooian Kaadu, which Gungan use as mounts, though the Gashadu being more reptilian then avian,
- Strengths:
Poison Resistance: Years of living on the contaminated world of Tythe has made these beasts resistance to poisoning, both in the air or in water. - Runner: The wide open plains of Tythe are prime location for running amok and the Gashadu have developed very strong legs, allowing them to run quite fast and exhibit very good endurance.
- Natural Armor: The front face of the Gashadu is coated in a natural bone like armor, made for fending off predators but also useful against enemies.

- Birth Defects: Due to the toxic nature of Tythe after stripped clean from mining companies in the past all Gashadu suffer arm defects.

- General behavior: Most Gashadu are docili creatures, having lived the last few hundred years on a planet almost devoid of any other life. The spend most of their time running around the vast plains of Tythe, grazing and migrating with the different seasons. Most herds have a few leading Males, (notable with the larger frills) and it is not uncommon to see males butting heads to show dominance. They are not known for being very territorial but do act a little skidish around humans, though a quite easy to domesticate, if given enough room to run around.
It was unknown if the once lush world of Tythe harbored any animal life with very little being known about the planet, and not much being recorded as no sooner had the planet been discovered that mining companies stripped it clean. From than on after Tythe was abandoned by sentient life many assumed that no living being flora or fauna was able to survive in the wide open waste and contaminated water.
Such was almost fact until the recent colonization of the planet by CIS under lead from Chikako when forming the Principality of Tythe. With the slow restoration the planet new locations where constructed to use the vast open plains of Tythe for agricultural use, soon the wheat producing Sunset Plain Farm being set up. With no recognized animals on the planet or potential insects no proper fencing was put in place around the farm.
Such proved to be a poor choice as over a few week the farmers noticed patches of the fields damaged and resembling grazing from some animal. With this problem Chikako dispatched a small investigation team, who soon came across the large quadruped in a decently sized heard. Though initially fearing them to be dangerous it did not take long for the colonist to take a liking to the docile beasts, many being rounded up and taken back to the New Camp colony.
The Gashadu is a very good mount, fast reliable and with good endurance, their thick rear area's being used in food production yielding a tough but tasty meat. Their skin also producing a heavier but tough leathery like fabric that can be used for many different applications.
